Peter Buffett

I attended this event because it was a fund-raiser for an organization I support. Beforehand, I read 2/3rds of P Buffett's new book. I did not finish the book because it was not relevant to my life or to anything I want to learn. It seemed as if he were trying to make an excuse for the fact the he is much better off than the majority of us. His attempt to appear as "regular folk" furthered the chasm rather than bridged it. His "concert" was more of the same. We saw pictures from his youth and some of his musical projects with, or about, Native Americans and young women in India. Between every song he played (I think 3) and video clip he paused for questions and answers about himself. It was a very strange evening indeed! I am not sure why he thinks we are so interested in his life. (The majority of his many, many sentences begin with the word "I.") I may have been more interested in hearing his music.
