James Murphy

Second time too see James Murphy and I hope it's not the last. Murphy is a dying breed, still spinning on 2 turn tables and sounding better than any laptop dj ever!

James Murphy spun for over 3 hours in what felt like 1 hour. He could have kept playing and no one would have complained or went home. Kudos to everyone involved with the event.

I'm a big fan of It'll Do and I had really enjoyed all I had heard from James right up until this event. I think the ticket price was really what killed it for me. For $50, the set was uninspired and at any given time at least one of the speakers was messed up. For a $10 cover I would have been fine but for $50 I felt like I had been bent over.

Killer - the guy is a legend for good reason. Must see.
