I loved the New Years Eve Comedy Event. It was reasonably priced and even the "cheap" seats had a great view of the stage. The comedians were hysterical. I laughed myself to tears! One thing I didn't like was that we had to pick our tickets up at will call and there was a long line and some people had issues with their tickets. This made us late for the event which I REALLY didn't appreciate! Please improve the will call process for next time!

I thought it was hilarious. Hope Flood was a little too dirty for my liking though. It was also at least little too loud - I don't understand why a lot of these shows feel the need to be so loud that your ears are left hurting - how does that improve the show? If the volume was scaled to something like 85% it would have been more enjoyable. Mr. Williams seemed to serve mostly as the host, but he did offer some of his own humor (I did miss the first 10 minutes or so, though). All things considered, this was a great show for being relatively local to Portage, IN. I'd probably give it a 4.5/5 if that were an option.

My friend and I had a great time ! We couldnt stop laughing ! Damon and the guest was funny and they kept you laughing the whole show. The DJ played hit after hit. I would recommend the show to my family and friends . They have a fans for life with my friend and myself.

My first time going to a comedy show on New Years Eve. Damon and company were hilarious and constant. Never a dull moment. I enjoyed myself. However there should be a way to cater to your fare paying patrons with an after New Year's gathering without adding a fee. Most of the people who attended are mature adults who would appreciate celebrating with each other after the show. Other than that it was well worth it.

The show was funny honestly. I couldn't complain with any of the acts besides the fact that I didn't know any. The show for the most part was very entertaining but it definitely targeted an older crowd. I felt a little isolated but I got over it.

It was my first NYE with my girlfriend and we wanted to do something safe and fun. This was definitely it....we laughed and she got teary eyed when Damon proposed to his girlfriend. We are so happy to have this as our first memory of this show. KUDOS to D. Williams and his fiancé for their continued success and future. I can't wait to come next year and go to the after party, I will be bringing friends with me!

I thought the show was very funny and the two headliners had my companion and I rolling in our seats. The venue was fine, but it was inconvenient to have to get up to get drinks, but the layout was good and easy to navigate. I would highly recommend shows there.

We had front row seats and really enjoyed the show!!! However, Damon and the Cop Comic from Baltimore were HIL-LAR-IOUS!!!. Damon focused on my husband wearing a sweater vest which made it even more funny :-)

This show was hilarious, all the comedians did a fantastic job and on top of that after the show the comedians talked and took pictures with the audience. We will definitely be there again New Years Eve 2014, and did I mention ticket prices were great.

This was me and my better half second time going here and I must say it was just as good as last year. Our seats were amazing, no violence , and even the after party was free this year. However we didn't stay for the after party, but yes it was amazzzzzzing.

The comedy show was Hilarious! The experienced and the new acts were both very funny. The music was really nice and I absolutely loved the FREE after party afterwards. This is my second time attending the Damon Williams New Years Eve Show. The 2013 New Years Eve Show was hilarious. I laughed so much. . All of the comedians were great, I especially loved the female comedian, she gave real life situations were women and men could both relate to. I truly would recommend the Damon Williams show. The show was good except that instead of having local radio show comedians doing stand up, I would have liked it better if different or upcoming talented comics were showcased instead. I hear those guys everyday, and to pay to hear them wasn't the best decision. Otherwise good show. The guests really held their own!

I must admit that this show was shocking to me and my guest. We didn't expect this show to be as funny as it was but it never stoppped from the start. The comedians really need to be on TV more because these are GREAT comics. Damon Williams also threw a after party with all of his guests that came to the show and that was really wonderful and great to have a safe place to enjoy the new year. My wife and I as well as are guests really had a wonderful time thanks to all of the comedians that were at the show. Honest John you were great! Damon Williams has been grounded and friendly ever since I met him years ago. A great comedy show! A must see and will next year when we bring in 2011. Be there!

Compared to last year's show, half of the comedians were not funny. John Henton, Rob Stapleton and Turae were very funny, the others not so much. Uncle Rail was opening emcee, I did not think he did a good job. My husband and I were totally surprised by Damon's wedding ceremony, I think customers should have received advanced notice prior to ticket purchase or held the ceremony at the end of the show for those interested in staying.

My husband & I attended the comedy show in 2014 when Damon proposed to his then girlfriend, and again in 2015 when they actually got married during the show. How romantic! Celebration of love is always in order! The performers were great. There was a little confusion following the wedding however, as people were leaving thinking the show was over. Indeed, my party was about to leave (feeling a little cheated), when Damon clarified that there were more comics to come. So we sat back down and enjoyed the rest of the show, but by then, many people had already left. We plan to make this an annual New Year's Eve event. I would like to see more female comics.

The comedy line up was well balanced with super funny, sort of funny, and not so funny moments. But a great show overall. However, I will never do the overnight package of stay at Radisson again. The package was a bad investment. Next time, it's audience tickets only and a room and dinner elsewhere.

The cost of the hotel was high and I think that turned a lot of people away the event. The hotel tells you that the party package is for all party but then we had to buy wristbands to go to Damons afterparty that was an extra $100 in all

Damon's show was off the chain, Damon had the moves and cool jokes. I loved the school teacher turned comic. The length of time was too short ...I could of laughed all night. Damon's proposal to his girl of 6 years was a sweet touch. This was my first comedy show I ever went to and Damon has me looking for his next show.

I went to the Damon Williams comedy show on New Years Eve December 2012 in Merrillville Indiana. all the comedians were hilarious it was never a dull moment. Damon Williams really didn't perform he was just the host who made jokes in between introducing the comedians. B platz was are the only woman on stage but she was the best. the show was from 8 p.m. until 1130 than the after party, and DJ dollar bill what a great DJ as well. the buffet before the show was great. This was my fourth year attending the Damon Williams New Years event. Alex Thomas and B Phlat saved the show they was great the rest was average. The seats was lousy. This year they had a crowd. The last three years was not hat crowded. I can say the show was worth the price. I am going to wait a couple of years before I attend this show again, because its getting old. I hear some of the same jokes last year. Eat before you get there. The food was not worth the price.

This show was Hilarious! Grown and sexy crowd for sure. Damon was a great host and all comedians were extremely funny. Would highly recommend.

The show was good. I really enjoy the comedy of Damon Williams. His comedy deals with everyday situations. He does not have to use a lot of profanity and sexual situations to be funny. Some of the other comedians were a bit much. I know it was an adult only crowd, but other situations in life are funny as well. I will support Damon. What I suggest is that there be a list of options for people who did not want to pay the extra charge for the after party. Other places that the customers could go if they did not want to go back to Chicago at 11:30 p.m.

This was the first time I've ever attended a Damon Williams NYE Comedy Bash and I will definitely attend next year. The comedians were beyond hilarious! Incorporating the local Chicago poet was a great show of support and she was great. The DJ was banging! The atmosphere was chill with a mature crowd with a variety of age groups present and the location was perfect. The after party could have been better.

I do not think that all kind of vulgarity is funny, that is why comedians like that will never be that good or popular. so called comics like them think that swearing and all the other filth is funny when u can make people laugh without that stuff, Then Your a REAL comedian(s) !! i WOULD Never go to that type of comedy even if the tickets were FREE..

I laughed out loud so much at this event until I was hoarse and coughing! Joke after joke I was thoroughly entertained. The NYE event is strictly for adults, but it gives a nice break from younger siblings, kindergarten students that will return to school after the holiday break and a night away from kids if you have any. I would recommend this event for next year and years to come. It was a safe experience and inexpensive. I'm waiting so I can buy it on DVD and laugh all over again!

The show was average cocoa and the last act saved the show. They need to kill the sex jokes not funny anymore. Just tell one or two jokes about sex and move on. Cocoa was good she use sex with football.

This was my 1st time attending his show & when it was over,I was hoarse from laughing so hard. All the guest comedians were hilarious!! Pierre, Co Coa, Tony Scho, Marvin..... It was one of my best New Years Eve outings. I will definitly be going back nex year....
