Show and venue were great and security did very well with the crowd control. Very Organized and not intimidating. Show was a Blast !!!

The cultural dances and songs of native performers mixed with the modern breakdance of the Culture Shock LA and hip-hop songs of the Black Eyed Peas made the event unforgettable.

The Global Filipino Music event hosted by Apl.de.ap was amazing! It was tastefully done, featuring key Filipino artists from the homeland plus the young up and coming stars that represent our culture in the current hip hop and contemporary music venue. I loved seeing the folk dancing, as I was a member of a folk dance group years ago that performed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion... I am very proud of Apl.de.ap - he is a shining example of a young Pinoy who was given a golden opportunity by a wonderful man here in the States, and is now giving back to his people by encouraging them to fulfill their dreams... Culture Shock LA were amazing! Dessa's performance was stellar and Jo Koy was absolutely crazy funny! The Hollywood Bowl is still a magnificent venue for outdoor entertainment, their improvements were greatly appreciated - the large overhead screen helps see it all on stage! The HB staff were helpful and courteous... and of course, the opportunity to bring your own "picnic" really puts the feather in the cap... Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Salamat po for a wonderful, memorable and most of all PROUD to be Filipino evening... My son loved seeing Nicole S shake her thang! LOL

First time to watch in hollywood bowl, if not for the parking accomodation, i would have given a 5 star rating, overall the experience was awesome!!!

The first ever concert that i have been to! Apl de Ap didn't failed to amuse me! I had a hell lot of fun! All the artist were able to pull it off! I would definitely come again to watch them!

The show was worth every penny.hope there will be a repeat,the park n ride was very organized.

It was an awesome show full of Pilipino pride and culture. Great for my kids to watch and be part of this first time event. Can't wait for the next one!!!

Overall we enjoyed the last performers, apl.de.ap, nicole, taboo and wil.i.am especially the stand up comedy of Koy.

i was really amazed, pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the whole show. It was nicely presented - the artists, music talents very well put. Very excellent presentation over-all. I am sure everyone who attended felt the same, had the same reaction. Too bad for those who did not come. They missed a historical event in Hollywood Bowl. Bravo for Apl.de.ap. to ticketmaster- i also want to thank you for the very good seat i got that night.

Only went to see Becca Godinez and Martin Nievera, but they had very short sets.

This is one of the best concerts i've seen- so much variety and versatility. the location was great; the event very organized; did not encounter any hitches or anything. you just dont see one artist performing; but for 3 hours you get really entertained. It also showed how music has evolved.. thanks to organizers.. wish they'd have another one again- will invite more friends; can you make this a saturday event instead? just wishing.

The show was an awesome display of the talent of Filipinos in both singing and dancing. Even my own 7-year old who will not sit through a concert had a fun time. Looking forward to another similar event.

My wife and I thought that the event was an inspiring introduction to our Filipino music and culture. My wife was estatic and was thrilled to see what the filipinos are all about. Since she is caucasion and had no idea about my culture, the concert and the host, Apl.de.ap help conect an understanding about other cultures.

I'm part Filipino. Honestly, I can barely understand Tagalog but I wanted to go anyways. It was nice to see the history of Philippine music and the evolution it has taken place. I also loved how they had such inspiring stories throughout the event. It really showed me what it is to be a true Filipino. To not only enjoy music and dance and be one family but also help one another to grow as a community. It was inspirational and I was very glad I got to experience it.

I liked the fun format with different acts coming out every few songs. Kept it interesting. Loved the dancers.

The show was so fun and entertaining. I loved how there was a good balance of traditional and "new generational" music and entertainment. I loved seeing the Pilipinos so well represented and celebrating our culture. Do it again next year!

This charity concert to benefit the Apl de Ap foundation was well beyond my expectations and worth every penny! All the performers who volunteered their time for this cause were very talented and amazing. My friends and I had an incredible time. A well done production by Apl de Ap and his team!

The first half of the show featured quintessential Filipino artists from the haranistas, to pop stars like Martin Niviera, to the melodious tunes of the rondalla. It was so special to give the stage to these legendary performers and be surrounded by fans, young and old. The second half of the show was so much fun! Loved the hip-hop Tinikling/rondalla remix, Nicole Scherzinger and of course the Black Eyed Peas. Lots of hits, lots of dancing! So much fun!

Bringing in artists like Martin Nievera and traditional Filipino dancers were great!! The Filipino artists were great although the amateur acts could have used more rehearsals. (Or amateur acts to be screened more.) The Black Eyed Peas and Apl.de.ap's dedication to share Filipino tradition and music was great!! Need another one soon!

This was a spur of the moment decision to attend this event sponsored by Apl.de.ap when we saw it on travelzoo. This event turned out to be a great mixture of traditional filipino music as well as a second half Black Eyes Peas concert (minus Fergie). The outdoors venue was a great choice for this LA summer weather, and all the individual performances were appropriate.

This concert was a welcome change from the usual Filipino concerts that I have been to. Most of them do not start on time, they have unruly and very rude people watching, the performances were not that great. I went to a MYMP concert one time and Aiza was very late, she did not even fix her guitar before going on stage to perform. I found out from a friend that her plane was late coming to LAX. IN short, she was not prepared. The opening act was some troll looking performer who was so awful. This show, however, started right on time, the performances were all great that even the non-Filipino audience members were in awe of the performers. The crowd was well behaved, the venue very lovely. Kudos to the organizers of this concert, esp. to APL who I was very impressed with.

happy to invite my sons & daughter in law. Talents were a good mix. Encouraging to see event by Apl-De.Ap be successful ! esp its philantropic aims. Nice quality-bonding time for us. I an appreciation of our culture...overwhelming support of Will, Taboo to APL. funny impromptu storytelling .. the support of HB staff made it possible to stage a successfuly event like this. so many varied talents... we hope to see more of this event...

The first half of this event was full of folk music and newcomers mixed in with some present day favorites. The second half of this show was a BEP concert! Full on fun and a rousing celebration of the Philippine culture! I am not a Filipino, but that didn't stop me from having a blast! See you next year!

I hope the Hollywood Bowl continues to host Global Filipino Music each year. It was such a great experience for myself and my family, as Filipino Americans. The acts were all terrific, with a great variety of music and entertainment. Most importantly, it was inspiring to experience the Filipino culture in such a positive light. It was a great showcase of Filipino talent and Apl.de.ap is an inspiration to Filipinos for his philanthropy and promotion of the Filipino culture. He is a GREAT role model to Filipinos all over the world!

Good times! Started out slow but picked up as the show went on. Apl and Will are funny as hell. Jokoy also made a surprise appearance. Always funny as usual. Outstanding performance by Nicole Scherzinger.

Lotsa great filipino talent. Nice mix of performers for all ages. Something for everyone. Great exposure for the all Fil-Am and Filipino artists. Didn't expect a full on Black Eyed Peas concert. Nicole Scherzinger was a nice substitute for Fergie. New respect for the B.E.P. Thank you for Apl.de.ap for always staying true to yourself and remembering your roots.

From traditional to modern music, Apl.de.ap took us on a wonderful tour! I enjoyed the fusion of talent among all ages. It was so cool to see Filipino stars from both the US and the Philippines!

The event showcased a lot of new and old talents who entertained the audience with a lot of fun and enjoyment! Apl.de.ap demonstrated so much passion and love for music and his home-Pampanga Philippines. Fellow Filipinos are proud of the original talents from back home. THe non-Filipino artists are just great as well. Awesome performance and unforgettable concert!!! Will watch this one again next time!!!!

Amazing experience! I really appreciated the fact that Tagalog was spoken. It was a real treat. Also, it's wonderful how the proceeds gives back to the children. It was also wonderful to hear about Apl.de.ap's philanthropy and all of the philanthropic work that the Black Eyed Peas are doing.

It was unbelievably amazing! The show catered to all ages young and old.

Nicole Scherzinger definitely gave that rare fusion of international performers even more flash and glitter. I have never been to an event that brought such talents together -- Apl De, Will.I.Am, Taboo, the filipino celebrities; topped by the gifted, glowing, talented, and refreshing Nicole.

It was nice to hear some old familiar songs from my native land. The culture was well represented and some known and not so well known performers did a good job showing their respective talents. It was a night to remember! Hope next Filipino event includes Jessica Sanchez from American Idol and Bruno Mars. And I don't want to forget Charice.

I never imagined that I'd see traditional Filipino harana and OPM performed at the Hollywood Bowl. It was indeed a historic milestone for Filipino music and artists. Thanks to the efforts of Apl.de.ap; and the featured artists did not disappoint anyone. Becca, Ogie, Dessa, and Martin were fantastic along with everyone. Loved Nicole as the female vocals with BEP. Will.I.am is such a good friend to Apl.de.ap.

Had a blast!!! The show offered something for all age groups in the audience, with its great Fil-Am talents and program. Felt even better knowing that we were partying for a cause. I'm now a bigger fan of BEP than I was before!

Very diverse crowd of young and old. It was pretty funny to see the old folks really enjoying the first part of the show while the younger kids looked very bored...some even sleeping. I went with my wife and kids (ages 27, 23, and 16) and my wife was afraid that the kids would tease her endlessly for dragging them to this terrible show. However, when the second half of the show started, all the younger crowd suddenly awoke and started dancing and singing along. The older folks left when all the rap and dancing started. All in all, there was something for everyone. My kids danced, sang along, took pictures, etc. I think they enjoyed it. My wife thoroughly enjoyed it because she's Filipino (I'm not) as well as I. I think I enjoyed it mainly because we were able to spend a pleasant night together at an entertaining event.

Congratulations to all the performers and hosts!! What talent to share -- singers, dancers, rappers-- WOW! Thank you for having this event in Southern California where there are so many Filipinos who appreciate this kind of talent! Kudos to Apl.de.ap for anchoring this historic and artistic moment!! It would've been nice to have the text translated in the program or put on the big screen for those of us who don't understand Tagalog. Remember, those of us who grew-up here need a little help. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable evening! Can we have an event like this in the Palm Springs area?? That's where I drove-in from.

For a Filipino to enjoy a little cultural entertainement, this was a great thing to happen in LA.

The beginning started slow and very traditional. As a Filipina I appreciated it. Sound could have been a little better when it came to the harmonies of the Harana men's group. But, overall SOO GOOD! The 4 solo Filipino singers were charismatic and interactive and obviously pro's at working a crowd. When Apl.de.ap and the rest of black eyed peas and Nicole came out it got even better! Hope they host this event yearly. =)

I hope they have the Celebrate Global Filipino Music event every year! It was an amazing concert.

It was such a fun event! Apl and the rest of the black eyed peas were so great and got the crowd really going and the other performances were so much fun too. My only wish was that some performances were longer, and a few others were shorter. I absolutely loved the blast from the past traditional tagalog songs and the traditional dances, so I definitely would've loved a longer show for that, but considering its only a 3hr-ish long concert, I thought it had great variety and was filled with great culture. Would definitely love to go again WHEN it comes back.

Apl.de.ap Takes You to the Philippines rocks!!! You can see the whole camaraderie between participants and audience alike!

Fantasic show with amazing performances! I hope they have another one next year.
