Willie Barcena

Comedian Willie Barcena recently shot his first one hourspecial, Deal With It, at the El Portal Theatre which will air May 2009 onComedy Central. Barcena grew up in East L.A. and it is his people skills, hisstreet-smart wit, along with his mother's "just use common sense,Dummy!" which enable Barcena to connect with a wide array of cultures, yethis performances are able to maintain pride and cultural awareness withoutperpetuating any Latino stereotypes.
