This show was unbelievable and you had to be their to see it. Conor oberst playing for a hour or so straight. The whole band hitting every note and having so much fun made the rest of us in the crowd go crazy. Hard to describe this show in words. Getting to meet Desaparecidos after the show and get their autographs (all but keyboard player :( I would say it was a GREAT show and night.

My love for Conor dates back to I don't even know how long...and the Desparecidos??! Since I was about 12 and I never thought I'd see them play live in my life...but I did. And It was amazing. And my friend and I met Conor Oberst on the corner outside of a Movie Theater before he went on because we were running late (oh fate!). He was so incognito and I could tell he didn't really want to be bothered but I had to because when else am I ever going to meet my all time favorite song writer and tell him how awesome he is? Never. He was sweet and had beautiful, big eyes that I'll always remember. His show was PHENNNNOMENAL. he played great songs, even though I regretted not asking him to play "poppin of at the f' (which he didn't play) the set list was still killer, and his energy and the crowds feeling of unison and this tiny feeling of hope dancing in the crowd that night was what I needed for a very long time. I was floating. It was my favorite moment to have lived so far. It seems the guys are gunna keep playing, so if you didn't get a chance to go this time around, do not miss next time! it was unbearably surreal.

and all his music is absolutely incredible, from Bright Eyes to Desaparecidos. Would definitely make it to all his local concerts. unforgettable night worth so much more than what I paid.

Desaparecidos kick ass live. There was a lot going into this. I've listened to them for 8 years and never thought I'd see them live because I didn't think they'd do another album. Having only 2 albums despite 13 years of existence meant they had to play plenty from Read Music/Speak Spanish and they did, but they saved most of it for the end. The end of the set and 3/4 of the encore was Read Music and it was amazing. They sounded just like they did on the album 13 years ago. The So So Glos were a great opener too. They're a very fun band with great songs. Obviously the Paradise is a great venue for these guys with the kind of energetic, crowd involved show they put on.

I'm not sure that I've ever been to a show in a similar venue that sounded this horrible. I saw Desaparecidos ten years ago at Cat's Cradle and they were AMAZING. But at this concert the mix was unbearable. Who know how things sounded in their monitors but the crowd got nothing but rhythm guitar. The drums could hardly be heard and the lead guitar was nowhere to be found. I'm no sound engineer but it was so extreme that my friend and I actually walked over to the sound booth to hear the mix from his perspective. It almost sounded like they were intentionally botching it. We left early and extremely disappointed.

Desaparecidos was amazing. The set was pretty short for $36 though -- plus only one opener. HOB beers are outrageously expensive. $7 for a PBR tallboy... c'mon. It was a great show and we had a good time, but thought the price was a little steep for a two hour show.

The show was wonderful! I was upset when I heard that they closed the balcony, but I'm glad they did. Seats were great. Love the Pageant!

Denver, Matt, Ian, Landon & Conor; musically renowned for different exploits during the 21st century, but it would be their 2002 classic politically driven punk-rock album "Read Music, Speak Spanish" which would bring the band together & push Desaparecidos into a brief limelight. The band returned following the meteoric success of Bright Eyes (Conor Oberst), along with Denver Dalley's duties as part of Har Mar Superstar & Statistics - with two new 7" double A-sides. The band have become tighter than they ever were back in 2002 with every show & Boston was probably the most iconic show of the 2013 tours so far. The venue itself is exceptional, historic & twinned with a great bar that most bands head to after their shows. The sound & atmosphere created is unique to the East Coast, & comes highly recommended from many world famous bands.

This was probably the best show I have ever been to; the energy in the room was palpable from the very beginning and Desaparecidos did not disappoint. They played every song off of their first album, "Read Music/Speak Spanish," and played some new material as well as covers of the Clash and Joyce Manor. Overall, it was an amazing night.

I never thought I'd see this band. Their album is one of my all time favorites, dating back to high school. Still can't believe they're back. I guess Connor made some money with Bright Eyes and could do whatever he wants now. Good for him. Anyway, this show was so great. Joyce Manor really surprised me. Really tight band But the real show was the headliner. These guys have so much stage presence. It's been a while since I've been to such an aggressive show. Felt young. The new material sounds great too. Will definitely be seeing them again. Webster Hall gets a bad wrap, but it's a good place. This was my first time in the balcony, and I recommend it. Perfect view. No packed sardines feeling.

Then opening act Joyce Manor had a really filthy bassist as well as a really talented drummer. when desaparecidos came on they had so much energy & Conor was just screaming all over the place and letting us scream the lines. honestly I go to at least 10 shows a year and this was one of the best that I've seen this year

The one phrase you heard the most was excite fans who thought they would never tour again. Back with a few new songs, I'd say the boys of Desa.are more than welcomed back. Good music, good fans, great show.
