This band is amazing. The singer/MC is witty, mesmerizing and funny. The band is talented and are having fun. There's 3 horns that add variety to the songs. And the audience loves this band. They and dance. Not just whatever but also holding each other closely. Cant wait to catch them again here in NYC.

These guys are nerds in the best way, making music that's at once loud, raw, dreamy, and thoughtful.

Well, unfortuantely I have a few friends who are friends with these guys, so I have been pulled to a few of their shows. Each time I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and with my buzz going strong, I always start off feeling them for a moment. Quickly though I am reminded why I just don't like them. All of their music sounds the same. I couldn't tell you the difference between any of the songs they have ever played. At times I start feeling the music again but I get distracted by the mis timed lyrics and the over all corny-ness of the brothers. I don't know, maybe the older generation finds them more appealing than me. To me they just seem more like a karokee/tribute band to a decade that is out of style. Unless you feel like getting ripped off and feel like being bored for about an hour and a half... stay away from this tandem. It is pretty bad when the audience boo's and laughs at you when you replace the opening act.

Quite different from what I expected. The puppetry was absolutely amazing making the horses seem quite real. The play, itself, carried us from farm through the war with very convincing special effects. I highly recommend this production.

Let me tell you about Lewis Watson because he isn't just another 20 something year old with a guitar. I have been a fan of his for a couple of years and when he finally announced a North American tour I was overjoyed. He is so talented and passionate when it comes to music. You can tell that it's real with him. I think the best part of the concert was when he played Into The Wild and Sink or Swim because pretty much everyone knew those songs. He stepped off the stage and came into the middle of the crowd and everyone was shining their phone lights and we were all singing with him, no mic. It was kinda magical. If you're a fan of his music, or good music in general, you're going to have an amazing time.

Jay Stolar had the audience singing and dancing and didn't want him to leave the stage. His fan base sing along with every word. I haven't seen a performer in such a long time with such genuine stage presence that seems to come from his soul. Jay is someone to watch. I left singing his songs and feeling alive!

I've gone to the 2013 and 2014 shows, and will likely go to the 2015. The 2013 show was disappointing for sure with the loss of Neil Young and Crazy Horse playing. HOWEVER, we still went and ended up really enjoying ourselves. Some of it was a snooze, I was not into Emmylou Harris, Daniel Lanois, or Gordon Lightfoot, but Rocco DeLuca, the Arkells, Harlan Pepper, Basia Bulat, and especially Whitehorse were great. The next year we got Ray LaMontagne and Los Lobos, along with other acts I didn't know that I enjoyed. Daniel Lanois was a snooze fest for me again, but you kind of have to deal since he puts the whole thing together. Looking forward to seeing Iron and Wine, Basia Bulat and Kathleen Edwards this year, hoping that some more great acts get added. For me the best part of this is that it is relaxed. This is a show were people are bringing picnics and lawn chairs and chilling out. It is relaxing and the kind of show where you can actually sit and converse with your friends. I do believe they could have handled Neil dropping out better, bringing the cost from $140 to $95 or so didn't really make up for him being off the line up in a lot of minds, but they also had other acts to pay and it is about bringing awareness to the danger the greenbelt is in. Keep in mind that while the show is $100, you can bring your own food and drink, so you don't have to pay extra for anything if you don't want to.
