Rome Braves

We love going to see the Rome Braves!! Just celebrated my son s birthday with 19 family members and it was wonderful!!!

Very enthusiastic fans. Lots of fun, nice clean facility.

Staff was great!! Friendly! Accommodating!!! The food was good. The boys played their hearts out!!

The entire family had a great time. We took our 3 kids age 11 to 21 and everyone loved it. There is not a bad seat in the stadium and the tickets were very reasonable. The stadium is very nice, the food was good and all the people working there were very friendly. There was something for all ages. I would recommend going out to see the Rome Braves to families, couples, and girls and guys nights out too.

WE HAVE A REAL GOOD TIME AND THIS IS A WONDERFUL WAY TO GET TOGOTHER WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND TAKE A BALL GAME IN AT THE SAME TIME. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING EXCITING GOING ON AT THE GAME, I LOVE THE SEVENTH INING STRETCH. MY FAMILY GOES TO THE GAMES AS OFTEN AS WE CAN.

I was there! Was a shame that the great Tom Glavine pitched his last game at the Rome Braves stadium .... Glavine was awesome and a class act!! Braves are stupid for letting him go, down with the Braves!!!!!!! I'm cheering for whoever plays them now.

Saw Glavine's last game, a local HS star and a former college teammate of my son for Augusta. Seats were great. Lots of fun.

We very much evnjoyed the game between the Braves and Greenjackets. The players showed so much enthusiasm in their playing, it helped make up for their lack of experience. Avoiding the ATL traffic and commute from NW GA was a great benefit..You can not beat the price.

The Rome Braves are a great way to spend an evening at the ballpark and not mortgage the house to do it! We had a good time, got in and out of parking very easy and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The Rome Braves are an exceptional value for the price.

Asheville jumped all over our Rome Braves early, with a 10-0 lead by the second inning. Nevertheless, my 13-year-old son and I stayed the entire game and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. State Mutual Stadium is a beautiful little place with a relaxing ambience. You can really get in some quality father-son time while watching professional baseball players ply their trade.

It was a great experience for us and the kids. We have a 6 and 4 year old and they loved it. The field is close so you can actually see the game and the entertainment they do between innings is cute and keeps the kids attention. It is also very affordable. We would really reccomend to anyone! Also the atmosphere is much more family oriented than the pro-ball Braves game. Lots of FUN!

The one downside to getting seats in the outfield was it affected my wife's allergies and asthma. A Rome win would have been nice, but it was a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Had a great time at the game, even got lucky enough to pick a night that had fireworks. This was our first time going and was very pleased. Food was decently priced and adult beverages were priced ok, about what you would expect at a concert or any venue. all the seats seemed to be a good seat and bathrooms were surprisingly decent. In all if you have never been it is very much worth the trip

I went there for the used car giveaway the game and food prices were great. And the people. I wanted to win a used car for my son, but didn't. I chose tickets on the dugout side the visitor side. And everything they were giving away was on the braves side in the 200 rows. Bummed out for sure. Next time ill sit over there

We had a GREAT time taking our grandchildren to the ballpark. It was our 1st time. We loved the easy access to the park, the atmosphere around us and friendliness of others.We were disappointed with the Fireworks Show. It appeared something went wrong toward the end of the July 4th show. Fortunately we were able to see the fireworks show on Riverside Drive. We will be back. Thanks!!

Seat sections are poorly labeled. Trying to find knowledgeable assistance was a waste of time! It totally ruined our family outing because we had to move twice because the assistance told us wrong. The second move resulted in a hostile mouth-off with a rude individual who wouldn't allow us the opportunity to explain that we had a hard time figuring out where our exact seats were. It's was so humiliating...we weren't trying to steal anyone's seats. We just needed someone to help us find the right section and that in itself could have be avoided with properly labeled sections! Finding help shouldn't be so difficult either...whats wrong with having section assistance throughout the park. And then the official could help with people seating in the wrong seats. If someone is in my seat I'd prefer to have an official take care of that and not me attempting to deal with a potential hostile oppositional jerk!

My wife and I had a very nice time attending a Rome Braves baseball game at State Mutual Stadium. This is a very nice sports facility and I would recommend it as a relaxing way to spend an evening.

Our family had a great time. We had really good seats. Can't wait to go back!

Problem with seats falling off support then slow service in restaurant Then we made it to new seats by 7th inning. After that fireworks stopped before over. Other than that fair.

Brought my youngest son to see the Rome Braves for his 6th Birthday. He had never been to a live game before this. We had great seats and every one in the family had a great time. The stadium was neat and clean. The only bad part was that all the food tasted like it was 3 days old, I didn't go to the baseball game looking for gourmet quizine, however I wasn't thrilled about paying high prices for stale unbeatable food.

This was our second time to State Mutual Stadium, and it was just as fantastic as our first experience. All though, the Braves did lose, we managed to catch a game ball and get a broken bat from the visiting team, too. The night was awesome and a complete surprise to myself and my wife was a few of our friends who showed up to make the night game an awsome time!

I love heading up to Rome for baby Braves games and was planning to go to this one well before I found out that Tim Tebow was going to be coming along with the Fireflies. This created nothing short of complete madness, the 10:30 AM Wednesday game nearly sold out. The game itself was great and we enjoyed both our seats and the opportunity to sit at a picnic table in right field. The one glaring problem was that the park was clearly not prepared for this event as there were only a handful of concessions stands open which led to ridiculous lines. It seems obvious that they would have known how many tickets they had sold and prepared accordingly, but that was not the case. Since the wonderful little stadium was built, there has been a constant weakening of ballpark/service management year after year. I still go to games regularly, but seldom leave without them disappointing me in some way.

Great venue for a baseball game. Lots of fun to watch the stars of tomorrow.

It was a great game and lots more folks than are normally at the stadium on a Monday evening. Tim Tebow may have had a little to do with that. Most everyone was extremely gracious and kind.

This was my boys' first ballgame. They were very accommodating. They were able to take pictures with some of the players and mascots without any issue. The ushers were quite helpful, informative, and friendly. The venue was immaculate; very well kept and nice especially for a single A stadium. Ticket prices were more than reasonable.

I sat behind the braves dugout great seats. There is no bad seats in Braves stadium.

Took the whole family to the game, plenty of things for the kids to do! No bad seats, friendly staff.

We had a great time. Nice small stadium. Plenty of food and beverages. We did general admission and sat on home run hill. Kids had fun, adults had fun. Of course it was hot, should of taken an umbrella to help block the direct pounding of the sun. Overall, a fun day at the ballpark.

Had tickets to the all you can eat suite which I tried and enjoyed last year. This year was not as good. The food was cold and there was no effort to refill the snacks when they were used up (which to me goes against the all you can eat concept). The fact that I was I'll after the game is probably coincidence but I cannot be sure. The lack of inside seat g is a larger issue - why pay extra for a suite if you cannot sit inside. The stadium is very nice. I cannot comment on staff friendliness as I never saw a staff member after having my ticket checked.

Took a friend with her children and mine. Was a fun close getaway for the day. Entertaining with good ballpark food . The Braves played well. All in all would do it again.

Myself and my 11 year old daughter attended the Rome Braves game and had a fantastic time. Seats were great, food was good and the price for the food was surprisingly great. The players did a great job, its nice to see players who are glad to be playing the game.

While the actual ballgame was excellent and I continue to be impressed with how hard the young athletes work to reach their baseball dreams, I do not plan to return to a Rome Braves game. The concert afterward was a letdown after the promotion it had received. In addition, recent actions by the management/organization have proven to be a disappointment in my opinion. I have always been told that Chattanooga Lookout games were much better. I think that will be my next minor league game.

What a fun night out with the kids! Seats were great, tickets are inexpensive, game was fun to watch! You are very close to the field and the music and cheerleaders are fun. Nth fireworks were awesome! We will be back!

Awesome experience and game, first time going to a single A minor league game. Great seats at a low price.

My wife and I have been to several Rome Braves' games and I can honestly say that we have always had a great time up there at State Mutual Stadium. There are no bad seats, the prices are very affordable, and the staff are very helpful and polite. If you happen to get seats in section 100 (directly behind home plate), be advised that you may find a scout or a player from one of the teams sitting in your seat doing their job (charting pitchers, etc...). For a baseball nerd like myself, it is very fun to watch them do their jobs. We'll be back soon and if we were closer to Rome, I would definitely consider season tickets.

We attended the Rome Braves on Father's Day and had a great time. I love minor league ball because it is very close and intimate. Every seat is a great seat with most of the stands between the 1st and 3rd base. We ate BBQ at the BBQ spot in the park and it was a good deal. My wife and daughter had pork sandwiches while I had great BBQ nachos. Those nachos will be my go-to meal at the games from now on. My only complaint about the whole day was that the BBQ place only sold light beer. I don't know if they sell good beer at the stadium as I didn't go searching.

Loved the stadium! Reasonable priced on tickets and food! The only thing I would recommend is a bigger stage for concerts. Stage is way too small!

It was a quiet evening. The crowd had no energy and the Braves were equally listless. The Fur Circus was dreadful and even the kids did not seem to enjoy them. The highlight of the evening was watching where the foul landed.

I enjoyed watching the Rome Braves and enjoyed their very family friendly park.

State Mutual Stadium, which is the home field of the Rome Braves is an outstanding facility. It provides a comfortable and easily accessible venue for the fan. The quality of baseball played by the Rome Braves displays a desire by the players, coaches and manager to develop young and talented players. The staff of State Mutual Stadium are very helpful, polite and friendly.

My girlfriend and I are huge Braves fans. She lives in Georgia, and I live in Middle Tennessee. We have gone to a game at Turner Field, but wanted to get together this past weekend, but the Braves were on the road. She checked and found out that the Rome Braves were at home, so we purchased second row behind home plate tix. The thing about it was that it was her idea!!! She wanted to go to a minor league baseball game!!! How cool is that and how lucky am I????!!! The game was great, the Braves pitcher took a no-hitter into the 7tb inning, the weather was much more comfortable than predicted, I bought souvenir caps for all my grandchildren, the staff was very cooperative. We stayed at a bed and breakfast in Rome which was fantastic!!! The entire experience was wonderful and we plan on doing it again!!! Thanks to everyone involved for a magical, memorable weekend!!! #AlwaysBrave

Lots of entertainment for adults and kids, lots of food options and great seating everywhere.

The Rome Braves are a great way to experience baseball. It's easy to afford the best seats in the house, and with most of the better tickets you also get access to the in-stadium restaurant, which has great food and table service.

We loved the experience and will be purchasing more suite tickets in the future.

Had a great time at the Rome Braves Ball Park. Bought tickets online for us and another couple and printed them out. No problems printing or getting in the gate. The Weather was great, parking was close, seats were exactly as shown on the seating chart, and they had decent prices on the food & drinks in the stadium. Rome Braves played an excellent game and won in a close call at the end. Lots of friendly employees who welcomed us there, then after the game, thanked us for coming.

Thank God for the concert afterwards or it would have been a regrettable night. But the Swinging Medallions was awesome so it was worth the trip for the concert.

I bought the tickets for my little brothers birthday. There were 6 of us that went, which included 3 kids ages 12, 11 & 8. All 3 kids won something (either by catching it or yelling so loud that they won the prize). They were able to get their baseball gloves signed by the players before the game, which I thought was very sweet of the players to do. We also really enjoyed the fireworks display after the game. It was nice to see some of the players laying on the field watching the game. It was a very intimate setting; nothing like a small town gathering and that's exactly what it felt like. None of the hussle and bussle to Atlanta! This was my first time going to see the Rome Braves and I really enjoyed myself. I love the stadium...small enough to have great seats, but large enough to have a nice crowd. We will definitely be going to more games!

We picked the hottest day of the year (107 degrees) but watched a great game and then watched the firework show!

EXCELLENT GAME!!!!! So much nicer than the Atlanta Braves games..... These players work hard...... lot of activity for kids during the game...... This is an event that should not be missed for family entertainment..... VERY AFFORDABLE, great seats and everyone there was actually enjoying themselves...... I will be attending again!!!

Exciting Game - the only thing I would recommend is installing 'huge' fans...man, it was hot! But we had fun.

We purchased our tickets last minute for this game. The seats were amazing and the experience was great. We loved the stadium and the atmosphere.

We took my 5 year old & his friend to watch the Rome Braves play & they LOVED it. Great family activity & the prices were much better than Atlanta. We are going back & soon!!

It was an excellent minor league game & the Braves stadium is awesome. It was 95 degrees but it was a mid-day game so that was to be expected.

Love going to the Rome Braves; the venue is perfect size for family in my opinion! We ve been taking our kids since the first born was two months old. Today they are 4 and 2. There s plenty of space for the kids to move, always friendly staff and, affordable drinks/food, clean, the best part... cheap seats! We can watch the game from the front row! We love cheering on our local minor league.

We really love coming to this ballpark. Play is always fun to watch, an easy drive to the ballpark and good parking. Concessions are reasonable and ticket prices are a fair price. For the love of the game, this is the place to visit.

This review is for the 12 game flex game plan. It is a really cool idea which allows me to trade vouchers for seats to any game that I want to attend, so long as tickets are available. I love the idea, but redemption could be easier in a few ways. First, it would be much better if I could redeem online. Currently, the redemption has to be done at the box office at the stadium. I live 45 minutes from there, so I have to plan my ticket exchanges very carefully. Second, the box office employees are not always properly trained on how to deal with this and it often takes an extended period of time to get my tickets. The Braves market these things pretty hard, so I would think that training people how to redeem them would be important, but apparently that is not the case. Overall, I love the freedom, the price, and most everything about going to Rome Braves games, but the management of this particular offering could be better.

Despite the cold rain my family and I enjoyed our time. Great seats and we already have tickets for the game on April 21

It rained the entire afternoon of the game, and my guests from out of state did not want to go and sit in the rain. Since the game was played anyway, there is no rain date, which was not an option for my guests, nor a refund available. The lesson learned is ALWAYS buy your tickets at the gate! Pre paying my tickets cost me a lot of money.

The atmosphere is great the staff is wonderful and friendly. Concessions are yummy. My children got picked to do activities in between innings. It was an awesome experience for them both.

Overall this was a nice event. Good speakers, an autograph session and an auction for charity with a lot of cool stuff to bid on. The only negative, the information about the dinner said there would be chili dogs and chicken fingers in addition to the hot dogs so I was a little disappointed there.

I've been to 4 games this season and these guys play hard everyone of them! Love watching the Romies play!

Keller's home run was awesome. The Brigade was uplifting and fun. Fireworks were top notch

This is perfect if you just love baseball, or are taking the kids. Tons of things for the children to do, space to run around, and everything is close to the action!

This is a wonderful family venue. A beautiful small park with all the amenities of a larger major league park. They have a special promotion for every game and on Sunday's you can get a family package of: 4 tickets, 4 hotdogs, 4 drinks and popcorn all for $30.00. The tickets are more than reasonably priced at $11.00 for Braves Dugout seats. There were even fireworks after the game!!

We had seats in the All You Can Eat Suite for a Saturday game. The suite is limited to 10 people, there were seven of us in two separate parties. We had plenty of room, plenty of food and drinks, and good attention from the staff. Food consisted of burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, chips, and popcorn, along with condiments and fixings for the burgers. There was also unlimited canned beverages and water. It was nice having AC on a muggy Saturday evening. I would recommend these seats - they are worth the price. Plus, the mascot visit was an unexpected bonus.

We had an amazing family night! The kids loved the game along with the circus animals. All around a wonderful family night!! And the Braves won yah!!!!

Absolutely wonderful venue to watch a professional baseball game. Where else can you sit right behind home plate in row seven for $10 a seat? I wish I had discovered this earlier in the season so I could've enjoyed more games. I hope to be able to see you at least one more game before the season ends in a couple of weeks. You will not be disappointed in this family friendly atmosphere.

game was great but concert afterward not so good mainly because you can no longer bring in your folding chairs so who wants to stand up the whole time. Which also means once your in the park no pass outs no signs saying anything to this effect

Great way to spend the afternoon! Laid back, friendly, HOT (not their fault), just a blast all the way around. I won't bother with the Atlanta hassle as long as the Braves have a Rome team.

The Braves Girls did a nice job keeping everyone entertained between innings and before the game. Unfortunately, on this night, the Braves got hammered by the Sand Gnats! Mom and I still have fun.

The staff was very kind as to let my children be considered lap babies. They're to small hold down the seats. The event was very great. Good deals great ballpark. I'll look forward to returning in the near future!

Great venue, well staffed, perfect seats. The venue is very comfortable and easy to get around. Everywhere you turned there were staff members there to help. Food was good and ballpark price reasonable. The only thing that was not available was a funnel cake, they closed early. The locals get into the game and cheer on the team making it difficult not to cheer along with them. There is no bad seat in the house and large areas for children and adults to spread their wings. Definitely will return to enjoy another event!

Great facility...wonderful small town feel. Ticket prices are great. Concessions not as pricey as what you would see in the Atlanta stadium. The players were very friendly and talked to the kids. We will go back for sure.

Great venue in which to watch a game, especially since we won! People were VERY friendly & helpful. Clean with easy parking.

Weather was perfect and the game exciting. Meeting the superheroes was also a highlight for the grandchildren.

I purchased 3 tickets at $35 each for the All You Can Eat Suite to the Rome Braves. They sold too many tickets to the suite and there were no seats to watch the game outside. There was also no food and no one filled the food back up. There was obviously no All you can eat at the game and we ate almost nothing. Total rip off. Would not suggest paying for the suites. Sound good but they can't pull it off with their service

The Rome Braves website indicated that the AYCE suites would have food available 30 minutes prior to game time and through the end of the 6th inning. While the site did not indicate what foods might be included in the AYCE suite, they did publicize "unlimited coke products". We purchased our AYCE tickets 1.5 weeks in advance. Upon arrival, we found that the suite had very little food available at the time of our arrival (approx. 15 minutes prior to game time). Further review of the suite revealed no cokes, only water and sweet tea, (no so great for diabetics). A suite staff member arrived to inquire if we needed more food, and we commented that there wasn't much there to begin with . She indicated that the suite had been "kinda of a last minute thing". Really? We purchased the tickets 2 weeks ago... how much lead time is needed? I asked about the unlimited Coke products, wondering where they were located and I was advised that the AYCE Suits only included water and sweet tea. I advised that the web site said otherwise, and was told that they had made changes. Really? You made changes to the AYCE Suite? After she left, I pulled up the Rome Braves website on my smart phone, and the site still indicated unlimited coke products. When the young lady returned, I showed her the website, and she again said that they had changed and the AYCE Suite now only includes water and sweet tea. She brought more hot dogs, and hamburger meats, but no buns. I asked to speak with a manager and she advised that she would have the Suite Supervisor come speak with me. About 1.5 hours later, the Suite Supervisor did in fact finally show up. I explained that we purchased tickets based on information contained on the Rome Braves website, and showed her the website. She immediately told us that they would honor the unlimited Coke products this time, but going forward they would not. Hrmmmmm... I thought to myself. We finally got Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprites delivered to us another hour later as the game was entering the bottom of the 5th. The AYCE food was marginal in quantity, very slow in getting replenished, and consisted of something they referred to as chicken nuggets, (looked like supermarket Tyson Chicken Nuggets that had been tossed in the oven and left way too long), Hot Dogs (actually pretty good and delivered to the warmer with a marginal amount of sour kraut), and hamburger patties. There was a plate of lettuce, tomato, onion, and sauces for the chicken nuggets, and a large bowl of potato chips. The dogs were the best items available, while the hamburgers where a fairly distant 2nd place. The Chicken Nuggets were just horrible and that's about all I can say about them. The suite itself would accommodate about 10 people outside and 4-6 inside. If you are considering the AYCE Suite for the convenience of having a temperature controlled environment available to you, then the $35 ticket price (plus a $3 dollar processing fee?) is a pretty good deal. If the food is any part of your deciding factor... well, don't let it be. We had a great time despite being less than pleased about the whole water and sweet tea thing instead of unlimited Coke products. Would we do the AYCE Suite again? Yes, but only because of the comfort of having a reasonably cool/warm/dry place to watch the game from.

The stadium gives you a feel you are on the field. No bad seats.

This event was fantastic! Food and drink are priced where they should be and so are the tickets. You can actually take your kid to see some baseball without it breaking the bank. I will attend this multiple times this year.

This is a great little ballpark with an intimate atmosphere. Good seats are very inexpensive. Bring your kids here to watch professional baseball close up. They will love it. Even at Single A, these guys can hit the ball hard and many of the pitchers bring 90+mph heat.

We had an enjoyable night. Its a great price for a good time.
