Golden Boys

What a thrill it was for me to see these 3 teen idols from the 50's..Have loved these guys since my mom introduced them to me as a girl..to finally see them live..O M G!!! They all looked and sounded fantastic...Frankie Avalon even blew me a kiss..thought I would die...Fabian was phenomenal..and Bobby Rydell sounded spectacular..

Excellent show. Took long looks down memory lane. My mom loved every minute. Additional graphics were spot on. Everyone looked and sounded fabulous.

I was born in 1954 and sure they are like 12 yrs. older than me but I love love their music and movies. They can still sing!!! I'd go again !!! Only down fall we sat like 3rd row from the stage and seems the sun was fighting with us, we couldn't see them hardly without holding our hands over our face to the side..seems Rose could use a netting to block the sun. I wish they had come over to the left side facing the stage but mostly stayed where the Mics were set up except Fabian he did sorta come closer to our side. But either way they rocked it!!

This show was the "cats meow" (I guess you must be as old as I to use that term) All three BOYS were very entertaining. Hearing the old songs really took me back to the "good old days" I am about the same age and was amazed at how really georgeous they still look. The interaction between them worked very well and I liked hearing about each of their lives and where they are today. I truly had a wonderful evening.

At first I thought the show was not going to be that good.especially because they are older.Boy was I wrong. They all look great and lots of energy. Good strong voices. I really think Fabien 's voice improved over the years.

Seeing three guys from the 50s/60s era still strong in voice, still moving and grooving, with sparkle and wit was a real treat. All three had a sense of humor, connected with the audience, and sang wonderfully. Frankie Avalon also had along his son Frank, a terrific drummer and Don Everly's son, Edan Everly, playing guitar and vocals. I was particularly charmed by Fabian, who has a much stronger voice than was evident way back then. He also has a great sense of humor. Bobby Rydel was equally strong of voice and very agile, still moving about the stage with ease. Frankie Avalon's voice remains strong, as does his connection with the audience. The show was in Reno at the Silver Legacy Casino's ballroom, which leaves lots to be desired. A large room that has lousy chairs that are hooked together and are particularly uncomfortable. This room would benefit by having theatre seating so that the view of the stage would not be impaired by an audience seated at one level. There were a number of large screens up so that the audience could get close up views and the acoustics were acceptable. But, considering how fancy the Silver Legacy is, this showroom was a big dissappointment So - I would give an A+ to the show and a C- to the venue.

It was fabulous, it was my 70th Birthday and so special to spend with music from my era. I went with the girls now I want to take my husband.

Frankie Avolan, Fabian and Bobby Rydell not only did a great job of intertaining by singing their hit songs but brought back many memories of their era.

Amazing concert. These three guys were awesome. I'd go see them again in a heartbeat!

The show was really good. I took my grandmother to see these guys perform. They were from her generation when she was a kid. She said, "seeing them perform, brought back so many memories". We had AWESOME seats! My grandmother was on the front row & she was beside herself. They were very entertaining.

The show was great! Bobby Rydell has a fabulous voice and all three were great and entertaining. Fabian was so funny! They are all still cute and adorable. I will definitely go see their show again. It was fantastic. I loved, loved, loved it. It brought back such great memories.

Outstanding show! Great music. The 3 guys performed with their whole hearts! Bobby Rydell and Frankie Avalon sound better now than 50years ago. Fabian is still handsome. Sugar House does not have a theater....the event was held in a large auditorium. Hence the seating arrangements were poor, as were the acoustics. Highly encourage Sugar House to re-vamp their facility to accommodate shows.

Aside from still having their voices intact, they were very open about what's been going on in their lives.

They all still have their singing voice. They all looke awesome.

Everything was great. The sugar house was a great revenue. The guys were great as always. This must of been my 3th time in a year I saw them

Saw their show last Friday! It was wonderful. They were wonderful! This was the first time for me but I will go to any of their shows that I can get to. Of course they sang the songs that made them famous and then some. I don't want to give too much away, as it being the first time for me, I didn't know what to expect and was I pleasantly surprised. If you have the opportunity to go, please do so, you will be so happy you did.

Great memories. Excellent entertainment. All three highlighted their careers very well and did not leave any highlights out.

Loved the show - have seen multiple times and always enjoyable. The venue was a different story. Never have I been anywhere where the seats were as uncomfortable as these. It was like sitting on cement. I will never go back to this casino no matter who is playing.

the Golden Boys were WONDERFUL. the venue, not so much. we were on the 20th row and because the seats were not on risers it was impossible to see. also, they had 2 large screens on each side of the stage and they showed some pictures but it would have been great if they showed the performers on those screens for the audience. I would see them again, but I will never go to sugar house for another show

Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Each performer was fabulous. Only drawback, which not due to the show, but the folding chairs could be upgraded, they became very uncomfortable after a while. Otherwise everything was great!

The Golden Boys are all still amazing and sound terrific and can't wait to see them again here next year!

Loved this concert, the golden boys sing like no time has passed. I would go again and again! The seats were perfect!

It is amazing that these three singers are as good as ever. They can still hit all of the notes and hold them out. Even Frank Sinatra couldn't do that. They sang every hit of theirs and did a tribute to and sang the songs of Ricky Nelson, Elvis, Bobby Darin, Sinatra, and The Every Brothers. Don Everly's son played lead guitar and Frankie Avalon's son, Frank, played drums for his father's songs.

Great show. The guys all did a great job. Band was a little to loud for me to hear Fabian singing, but then I'm an old "Artillery Guy" from the 60's! We drove up from South Carolina to see this show and were not disappointed.

The entertainers were fabulous. Loved them all. Venu was terrible. Packed the seats to closely together. Those in back could not see. Price for that type of seating was way too bight.

Great commaraderie, great jokes, still great voices, it was a most enjoyable show for all!

I went more for my fiancé my taste in music growing up in so philly was more Elvis Motown etc out of the three I more enjoyed music of Bobby Rydell..But disappointed didn't sing a couple song.. think his back hurt him. As to Fabian.. never had but one two hits..good sense humor though..but he look like been thru hell but has the YUGEST hands I ever saw (um distracting..lol) )Frankie looked the best..well preserved with help but the songs. I could gag! gingerbread. beauty school....etc. . But all in all it was a alright show.. and my fiancé pretty much enjoyed. the venue was small the seating was horrid so uncomfortable Seating wow..hardest cheapest seats ever to see a concert.. you'd think sugarhouse cough up some $$ but they are lowest class casino ever..and looking forward to new casino here in philly opening or Better go to AC!! more class.

Too much talking and not enough singing. Old stories are nice but I came to hear them sing.

Some cursing which surprised me. Wish the show would have started at 8 rather than 9 PM on a Friday

Truly enjoyed this show. All three were wonderful but Frankie Avallone I really enjoyed. Possibly because I knew all his songs. Having his son play in the band is so nice. Also having Don Everly's son sing and play some of the Everly brother's songs with him we truly enjoyed. He seemed to be on longer so more of his songs. It was just a great show and would recommend it to all. They all look great. When they come back I would go again.

Very good show with 3 of my favorites from the olden days

Awesome show reliving songs of the fabulous 50's and 60's. These guys are still going strong. Their voices still powerful. Great night of music!

I had been following tour and watching if coming near me! Then received an invitation for two tickets at Mohegan Sun and responded immediately. I also called to be sure I was in?! Went last night and it was great! Bobby Rydell still has a great voice, Fabian I never cared for but was okay di spite his stupid jokes!! Then , of course Frankie Avalon was great and looked wonderful! I met his son selling the CDs with Evan Everly which I was trilled just to have been close! Great job with their tribute to Elvis, Bobby Darin and Ricky Nelson. So happy I got to finally see them in my Sixties!! Thank you for a great show and tribute to a wonderful time years ago!

Went to the show in Atlantic City at least 5years ago Great show recently Rose Center Huber Heights Ohio Great show one complaint , less volume on the band more on the singers otherwise would be 5 star

This show was fabulous, fantastic, unbelievable and then some. Took my 35 year old son and even he really liked it

Frankie, Bobby and Fabian were wonderful. Loved the concert and all the oldies they sang. the venue was very nice, easy parking and getting into the venue. Our seats were great, looked like there really weren't any bad seats.

really enjoyed going back to my youth, with some of my favorite songs of the times.

Great show! The unexpected Everly Brothers connection was awesome! We never quit smiling the whole show!

This group of guys were incredible. I would highly recommend anyone who grew up with this music to go see them. Makes you want to wish this music would come back. Couple of surprises were nice. I would go see it again tomorrow if possible. I give it 6 stars!

First the bad. Although the Rose Music Center is a very nice complex, the sun coming in from the right side of the stage made the event miserable. They need to add screens to offset the heat and glare. My family booked tickets for my mom who was a 50's gal. She had to move to a seat far away from us because she could not take the heat. We wish we could have moved with her. The people around me were holding up anything they could in order to see and keep the sun and glare off them. The good news...the Golden Boys sang the Golden Oldies in full voice and lived up to our expectations. If you are buying tickets to the Rose Center, buy them in the back section in the middle or left of the stage.

There were 5 of us who enjoyed this concert together. It was so much fun to see these guys again after all these years. The tributes to those who left us far too early was an especially nice touch. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

The music was much, much too loud. However, I was not that impressed with the Golden Boys. They seemed to just stand there. They should not be too old to move their feet. The tape they are using could be improved greatly. I would suggest they take a page from the Lennon Sisters and show some tapes of their life as a child and the houses they grew up in. The quality of the tape was awful.

We were delighted when we found out they were going to have a show near Cincy. We are so glad we went. It was truly amazing!!!

We say Bobby Rydell, Frankie Avalon and Fabian last Saturday. Their voices sounded great and brought back many memories!

I anticipated a good show, but these men exceeded my expectations. Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell, and Fabian can still wow an audience. These consummate professionals provided an entertaining first-rate show. If you grew up watching Dick Clark's American Bandstand, you will love this show. The performers provided great versions of all their famous songs. The show was an entertaining walk down Memory Lane.

The Golden Boys performed a show that brought back great memories from my high school days. They each sang some songs but Frankie Avalon was the top performer. Bobby Rydell performed about 20 minutes, Fabian about 25 minutes and then Frankie Avalon performed well over an hour. While Fabian and Bobby Rydell are great singers they are not the "performer" that Frankie Avalon is Frankie's son played an amazing set of drums while the son of Don Everly played the guitar (Everly as in the Everly Brothers). The venue is terrific. The seats are well spaced, the covering allows for shows rain or shine, the parking lots offer multiple parking places, and the restrooms are large allowing many people in at the same time. The Rose is definitely the best venue to shows in the Dayton area. Will definitely attend more shows there.

Loved the concert, the Boys are at the best! So much fun!

I can't say enough how great this show is. All still have fabulous voices and I very much enjoyed and appreciated the tribute to idols who have passed. Fantastic show. Very highly recommend. Given the opportunity, I would see again.

The concert was amazing! All three of them singing together was so wonderful. We loved the screens on the sides as well. Frankie looks and sounds the same as he did on the Mickey Mouse club. The venue was perfect as well.

Great show. All thrills no frills. No pyrotechnics were necessary because their talent said it all. My significant other had his reservations and went for my benefit. Afterward he commented on how surprised he was especially because they were able to deliver such a great show given their age. (It's not like he is a spring chicken). They sound terrific and looked great even from the second row. LOL :o) Met Frankie's drummer son while waiting for the elevator, nice guy, waved to us from the stage. This concert made for a memorable day trip.

The show was very enjoyable...tickets were terrible, obstructed view but was not told so ahead of time...bought tickets thinking I would see the entertainers. Music was good, song choices fantastic.

Bobby Rydell, Frankie Avalon, and Fabian can still hold their own in a live concert setting. They are true entertainers with real talent.

Great Show....Individual and group acts were well-done!! Back-up band(s) and orchestra complement the singers well! Highly recommend the show for any "Boomers" looking to relive the memories of the fifties and sixties!!

The 'Boys' looked great, entertained & owned the room! Frankie's son & Phil Everly's son were a wonderful sign of the timelessness of good oldies!

Having seen this show 30 years ago...it was interesting to see it again. My daughter wanted to see them. All three show signs of aging, and Rydell doesn't do some of his hits. Overall, not bad, but the jokes are rather hokey.

LOVED the Golden Boys show!!! They were very entertaining. Showing the videos from Bandstand and old movies made the event even more enjoyable!!! Would go see them again.

A very enjoyable concert. Bobby Rydell's voice is amazing! He can still carry a tune and sounds just like he did in the 60s. Fabian was okay....almost seemed like he didn't want to be there. Frankie Avalon is a true showman. He did all his songs very well and his son was his drummer. Frankie did a couple Everly Brothers' songs with Don Everly's son who played guitar for Frankie. The room was full and the almost two hour show flew by. A definite must see.

I went to see the sow at the request of my wife. I was very surprised at the showmanship of the group. I was entertained beyond my expectations and would recommend the show to anyone who enjoys good music.

These three guys put on an well rehearsed and entertaining show. The songs brought back memories of the "old days". The audience (mostly 50-70 age group) were packed into the golden nugget auditorium and it was evident they also had a great time. Each singer began with video of himself in the 60's at the peak of their fame. They sang many of their hit songs with a little personal chatter inbetween. Their backup band was nothing other than fantastic. The band perfectly complemented the singers and added greatly to the memories. Great show!

This show was everything I hoped it would be. Having had a crush on Bobby Rydel since I was a teenager it was him I really wanted to see and he did not disappoint, still sounds wonderful. The added treat was Frankie Avalon and Fabian who were both outstanding. The show was about 2 hours long and I enjoyed every second of it. If you get a chance to see this show do not hesitate to go, you will love it. I can't wait until they are in my area again because I will go again to see them.

each singer had about 30 minutes; they also did jokes and impressions. of course there were the ""electric strollers"" and walkers...... watching older ladies acting like teenagers again just adds to the evening

This event was great. It was so nice going to a event that made you feel good when you left. It was well worth what we paid.

I bought the tickets for my mom and aunt knowing this was music they grew up listening to. However mom took ill and they couldn't go. So I and a friend went. Didn't think we would know much of the music but we didn't want to "waste" the tickets. Glad we went. The guys were very good. It was worth going.

We enjoyed the show and the way all three of them honored one another and former rivals and friends.... loved that the drummer was Frankie Avalon's son and that the Lead Guitar was Don Everly's son, The sense that they all look out for one another ... And, the music.. memories, memories...memories... the best!

I was transported back to the 60's. They sounded great.You can't beat those South Philly boys . Loved the tribute to singers who have passed away.

Two friends and I saw this show. Happened to snag row 12 so when Frankie came down the aisle it put icing on our cake. Seeing these 3 fellas on TV at the age of 12 and now at the age of xyz was so great. The sing-a-long, the chit chat from them, everything was so fun. Any 50's and 60's fan would love this show. So glad they are still performing. And to meet Frank Jr and Evan Everly - solid! Good things came for we who age. Thanks Golden Boys!

THIS IS A FABULOUS SHOW!! IF YOU ARE A FAN OF ANY OF THESE LEGENDARY PERORMERS, FABIAN, BOBBY RYDELL, FRANKIE AVALON, YOU WILL ENJOY THIS CONCERT! The guys open the show all together, then each does a set of their own hits, and other songs from their heyday. Then the encore with all three of these tremendous talents together to close the show. They do talk and interact with the audience. Fabian invites concert-goers to join him on stage to 'twist'! And at one point, Frankie Avalon comes out into the audience! There's a lot going on, and the entire show is great fun. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK TO THE IP CASINO NEXT YEAR!!!

I highly recommend seeing the GOLDEN BOYS if they come to your location. It was a packed house. The two hour show and music brought back so many wonderful memories with Dick Clark's American Bandstand and those fun Wildwood Days. . The stories they shared and the fun they displayed with each other was entertaining. A highlight was also the introduction to Frankie Avalon's son who was the assisting drummer and the lead guitar who is the son of Don Everly of the Everly Brothers. Singing the Everly Brothers songs was a great tribute as well.

Fabulous Well worth seeing. The music is rock n from the 50's. Really great to see Frankie Avalon, Fabian and Bobby Rydell. Many standing ovations during the show. I will go back to see them.

They were all so funny and sounded great!!! We had seen them about 10 years ago and they were better this time!!! Frank, Jr. was a fantastic addition as the drummer and Edan Everly was a fantastic addition on the electric guitar. He and Frankie sang some great Everly Brothers' songs!!

They all three put on a great show, but Frankie was the BEST. All still have it and the whole show was very enjoyable and really fun to be there.

More than I ever expected! I can truly say it was the best concert I have ever seen. The golden Boys were entertaining, funny and nostalgic. I would recommend this concert to everyone. I will go again if the opportunity presumably itself.

Incredible performance. Made me feel like I was 15 again. Their humor and self-deprecating banter were a real treat. Keep them coming back. Word is spreading! It would really be nice if Tickemaster could send us advance notice so could get decent seats.

The Golden Boys still have it. They really sang their hearts out and sound amazing as always.......and still look as handsome as ever. The show was wonderful and brought back many happy memories. On stage the boys were very personable and friendly and the show was outstanding. They shared stories and music of the good old days. Included on the show were tributes to many of our all time favorites including Dick Clark and American Bandstand; Chubby Checkers; Bill Comet, the Big Bopper; Elvis; Rick Nelson; and many more. As an added bonus Frank Avalon, Jr. played the drums, and Edan Everly (son of Don Everly) played the electric guitar and sang some of the Everly Brothers hits. Seeing the talented sons following in their father's footsteps as musicians was priceless. If you have not seen this show, I highly recommend it.

Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell and Fabian really put on a wonderful show. Not only are their voices still intact, but their stage presence was great. In between singing together and singing separately all of our favorite songs, they told funny and touching stories about their lives. We sang along with each and every song. Can't wait for them to come back to this area. Will go back again, even if everything is exactly the same!

I thought they were very good except that whoever was doing the mixing had the music so loud that at times it was difficult to hear or make out the words they were singing. After the show my daughters were asking why they did not tell more stories about their amazing musical and life connections and I tend to agree with. Their backgrounds were truly amazing and the people they hung around with were names everyone would recognize like Paul Anka, Chubby Checker, etc. I did enjoy the show but again, at times the music was so loud, hard to make out the workds.

Two great hours of great music and memories shared with the audience. Music was great. Nice to know that these guys grew up together in Philly and are still friends and enjoy making music. A great show.

It was an absolutely wonderful night. My husband and I had a great time. Frankie Avalon is still dreamy and sings beautifully. Bobby Rydell's voice is still great. Unbelievable. Lou Christie was a good sub for Fabian who was recuperating. The additions of an Avalon and an Everly next generation was wonderful. We loved the show.

It was really an excelente show. Frankie and Bobby,both great,as ever. And the surprise came from Fabian's substitute: Lou Christie has been definetely in the same level as the other two.

I loved seeing the Golden Boys. The boys still have amazing voices and look great and are very funny and entertaining. Sorry that Fabian couldn't be there, but Lou Christi was a great fill-in. Wishing Fabian a speedy recovery. I would see them again if they come back to Westbury.

I had such a wonderful time at this concert I have been going to Westbury for about 45 years and this was one of the best. The crowd was a real party crowd and I am sure that helped. Bobby Rydel was a definite show stopper he was the star of this show. I loved seeing Lou Christe I was a little disappointed in Frankie Avalon was not his best. I loved seeing Frankie Avalons son Frank he was very good also the tribute to the Everly Brothers by their son and nephew. It was also wonderful that they did tributes to some of the greats that have gone to a better world. I was upset by how sick Bobby Rydel has been. Please bring more of these shows also I live in PA how about bringing some of these shows to the Pocono's.

We totally enjoyed the evening with "The Golden Boys". Frankie Avalon is as adorable as he was as a teen. Loved his humor and his voice is still great. Frankie's son did a fantastic job on the drums as did Don Everly's son on guitar. Frankie's duet with Sean Everly was a real turn back in time. It was breath-taking to see Bobby Rydell perform, spot on as they say, even after all the health issues he has endured. His humor also was very enjoyable. And his voice . . . well it's as if we were back "in the 50's again". Thanks also to Lou Christie for stepping in for Fabian, who's recovering from heart surgery. It's unbelievable to imagine how Lou can still do the falsetto part of his hits even today. This was a truly memorable evening and we look forward to repeat engagements. Wishing good health to each of these amazing "Golden Boys".

love the show from beginning to end. I thought I would be disappointed because Fabian didn't show ,but nevertheless all ok.

Wow what a show truely brought back memory of growing up. Even if Fabian was not able to make it Lou Christie did an excellent job. My wife and I enjoyed ever moment of the show, all performeres did an excellent job we counldn't be more pleased. Well worth the cost of admission.

I saw The Golden Boys at Westbury Music Fair on May 16, 2014. Fabian was not able to make it as he is still recuperating from heart surgery. Lou Christie filled in for him. I loved the show, and Bobby Rydell is still a great vocalist. He sings impecably and sounds just like he did 50 years ago. Frankie Avalon is entertaining. Doesn't have the voice Bobby Rydell has, but keeps the show moving. I enjoyed the tributes, they should do more of that in the show. Overall, enjoyable show.

Okay Bobby Rydell was best. Lou Christie replaced Fabian, who had health issues. Frankie Avalon seemed a little tired.
