Chicago Jazz Orchestra

Michael was outplayed by the jazz "orchestra". Many times you couldn't even hear him! I really did go to hear him...but that was tough. His voice seems to have changed over the years too. Not as sweet as it used to be....

This was a wonderful concert! The Chicago Jazz Orchestra was outstanding, and Michael Feinstein is an absolutely amazing performer of the "great American songbook.". He is graceful and comfortable on stage, he is a master storyteller regarding the composers of the of the music, and he can be extremely funny. His voice is magnificent, from quiet, love songs sung at the piano to show stoppers sung with a powerful voice. His piano skills are also considerable. He had tthe audience in the palm of his hand and you could hear a pin drop while he was performing. All in all, this was one of the most entertaining and enjoyable concerts I've seen in a long time and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys classic American pop music..

My first time seeing him and when he comes again I will attend. I hated for the evening to end. My kind of music.

I saw Michael Fienstein Saturday night in the second row of the Auditorium theater and it was magical! His voice was amazing. For a moment I thought my husband was asleep, when I went to shake him he said that he wanted to close his eyes because the music was so beautiful (I checked and it was true:)). I would see Michael Fienstein over and over again. I am a Buble fan, and this experience was just as amazing as Buble.

Michael Feinstein is an amazing live performer. He has warmth and empathy with the audience and his interpretation of the "Great American Songbook" is spot on. The Chicago Jazz Orchestra just rocked! Haven't been to their performances before, they will be on our short list,; and we're looking forward to finding their CD's. The performance started right on time at 7:30 and went until a little after 10:00....a lot of performance for the ticket price. All in all a wonderful evening.

Mr. Feinstein is a gifted and passionate interpreter of the Great American Songbook. There are not many artists around who have this talent. An entertaining and fast moving show. I was recently in NYC and hoping to see him there. So glad I had the chance to see him in my city. Thank you, Michael!

Michael Feinstein may be the last well know singer doing the great american songbook. This show was great. See him whenever you can.
