I thought the show was very good. I really didn't compare her to Karen Carpenter but she did a beautiful job on her songs. Unfortunately, she seemed like she was singing more to her backup singer than to the audience.

Honestly, the volume was too low. I understand that this is not loud music, I'm not talking about noise. It seemed that all the sound was coming from the monitors on stage. All the performers were professional and accomplished but was there really no guitar accompanying so many of the greatest hits. The atmosphere was loungesque. The set list could have been correographed much better. Superstar is the showstopper! I was surprised to hear it so early in the first set. My personal favorite is Masquerade, which opened the second set, but was reduced to a medley format. All said this band has Vegas Lounge potential.

First, the St. George Theatre is absolutely exquisite! As for the show, we were all mesmerized!!!! If you closed your eyes, you would swear that Karen herself was singing! It was a joyous night with the audience singing along. Thanks to the group and to the St. George Theatre for a wonderful time!

Loved the night! In addition to having the Carpenters sounds right on the money, the group was also very personable. The bit of history/facts mixed into the evening was exhilarating! Thank you

The show was so bad we wanted to walk out but felt bad leaving. The background singer was better than the lead singer, would ve been better if she did the whole show.

It was great to hear all those old songs again. At times it was a little slow, that's why I gave it the score I did. The musicians were amazing!

This was the worst show I ever saw at Bergen Pac. BORING. More story telling than singing. Then instead of the 15 minute break she said she would take, was gone for over 30 minutes to sell her CD. Waste of money. I felt like I was in a bar listening to amateurs. Terrible, slow- moving show.

This tribute band did not really pay a tribute to the Carpenters in our opinion. Harmony that was the trademark of the group was handled by only two group members behind the lead singer instead of the three and four heard on the original recordings. In addition, the lead singer used a trill many times along with a vibrato that was not Karen's style. It isn't that they were not talented, it's that we were there to hear "Carpenters" more than them.

My Mom, sister and I went to the show and we loved it! It brought back so many memories of the music from our childhood. I would highly recommend the show to anyone who was a child in the 60s and 70s!

Too much smaltzy talking, not enough music. I have attended programs by many "Tribute" groups this is the worst. The lead singer may have sounded a bit like Karen eight years ago, but not today. Next time, I will use my Carpenter's CD for my listening.

If your of that age, this will take you back to all those memories. She sounded just like Karen Carpenter. Her back up singers we're also first class....I mean the lady sang with Gaga! The band was just amazing. I didn't think I would love a drum solo, but again amazed.

This show was good for just a relaxing evening with an okay group. We weren't disappointed, but we weren't "wowed" either. The lead singer had just an average voice, and the band held their own. The two standouts were (1) the piano player and (2) the wind instrument player, who played a very good sax, as well as playing the flute, clarinet, recorder, and harmonica. But we only went to this show to hear some Carpenters music, and that we did. To be fair, we couldn't really expect the lead singer to sing like Karen Carpenter, and we can't say that his group didn't give us what we came for.

Really enjoyed this show. It was fun to sit back and listen once again to the wonderful music of the Carpenters. Not quite Karen but close enough to make the show a hit. A couple of the songs might have been taken half a click to fast but not enough to ruin the piece. The band is marvelous and all member so very talented. I miss this kind of music.

If you are looking for someone that sounds just like Karen Carpenter, this show is not for you. Lisa Rock does a good job of singing the Carpenter's hits and the band and back up vocals are outstanding. Lisa has good voice but she doesn't have the rounded lower range that Karen did. I found the band's ability to reproduce the sounds of the original records with just 6 people nothing short of amazing. They were versatile and professional. Overall the show was worth the money we spent.

I love Carpenter's music and was expecting to hear music that sounded just like them. While the lead singer (she did not introduce herself) Lisa Rock had a nice voice, she did not sound like Karen Carpenter. She lacked the rich, deep tones of Karen's voice. The musicians played very well in re-creating their music to the tee. Lisa had a backup singer by the name "Maggie" that seemed like she had a beautiful and professional voice. It was very distracting that she had an overly spangly dress, versus the subtle outfit the lead singer had on. She often would jump around. Lisa sorely lacked any stage presence and would often walk around the stage facing her musicians, doing a little shake motion that made us cringe. She would gesture to each of the musicians following each song for applause. That seemed very out of the norm of a professional. She often told stories that had no tie to the music. It was like seeing a performance on a cruise ship. Was very amateur and I would have expected something much better at the Genesee which is so beautiful. Disappointing to say the least.
