Outstanding musicianship all the way around. I did find out quite late in the game that the original lead singer had left the band. That was very disappointing however, the show was still outstanding.

I first saw Gabriel in 1978 and have been to multiple shows every tour since. To me his first five albums have always been his best work. Now a day he tends to stay away from most of his early work, which really is shame (Oh and God forbid he plays any Genesis tunes, sarcastically said). I am so grateful Jerry and the band delved into Peter s back catalog to play these songs once again. The band was tight and the setlist was dead on. The sound was phenomenal, great FOH engineer. So if you like early PG played by great musicians you ll love this show.

The Security Project's show on August 11 was incredible. The musicianship was outstanding. A very exciting performance! If you cannot get to see Peter Gabriel, this is equally outstanding! (((LOVE!)))

Outstanding musicianship. You know what the music is: Compositions from the first 3 Peter Gabriel albums from the late 1970's to mid 1980's. But what you don't know until you see "The Security Project" play live is that this music has many many layers happening all at once. Seeing "The Security Project" play live is not like any rock concert, the complex rhythms, sounds and syncopation between players is performed masterfully. I wish I would have known about this group years ago. I would have seen them play more times before this show.

The good news is the musicians are tight and the singer has a remarkably similar voice to Gabriel, which is awesome. If you close your eyes, you might think it was. But this is what you are going to want to do is close your eyes. The show is not much of a show, which is VERY contrary to attending a Peter Gabriel show, where the showmanship is just as much a part of the show as the music. There is zero showmanship or stage presence here. Which might be ok, as they are not a "tribute band", just doing their version of Peter Gabriel. But the setlist was excruciating. It was the slowest, least powerful of Gabriel's 1,2,3 & 4 albums. Instead of playing the pounding, worldbeat richness of Gabriel's music, they played downers like Moribund the Burgermeister. Literally, everyone around me was sleeping. I'm serious - sleeping. They also went on too late and took WAY too long of an intermission.

First, the group consists of excellent, professional musicians and this forms the base of a great show. The singer, Brian Cummins, is amazing. All you have to do is close your eyes and you will swear you are listening to Peter Gabriel during his days with Genesis and early solo career. His voice, phrasing, intonation are an incredible recreation of PG's live performances. Then, you add the incredible drumming of Jerry Marotta (former member of the PG band) and Trey Gunn from King Crimson as well as the other two members of the band and you have a spectacular show. They do not cover PG's more recent materials. The focus of the show is on early PG solo work as well as some Genesis work when he was with them. This is good because PG does not regularly perform the old songs very often.

The venue is top notch and the performance was as well. The band as well as the lead singer were spot on. I hope to see them again.

The Security Project presents a heartfelt exploration of Peter Gabriel's lesser-known materiel, focusing largely on his first three solo albums, the album "Security" (of course) and with dips into his music with Genesis and some later music. Hard-core Gabriel fans will love vocalist Brian Cummins, who naturally conjures up both the sound and the subtle theatrics of P.G. Anyone with open ears will hear a team of brilliant professional musicians bringing beautiful music to life. No bombast, no silly costumes, no "greatest hits," just great music. A younger me would give five stars.

that show SHOULD have been great. bought the tics well in advance and was very disappointed that the tickets priced out the event and sales were WEAK, to say the least. but a very eager small group anticipated a show of great peter Gabriel material but were "treated" to an evening of deep cuts, none of the hits, an uneven and mostly boring playlist of the most obscure songs in PG's catalog. it was a clunker.... toward the end of show I just felt sad for the band. if you are going to do a peter Gabriel retrospective, you might want to play the songs the audience knows and loves....

This show was far better then my expectations. Jerry & Fuzzby are exceptional artists. Is there any instrument Fuzzby can't play ? If you closed your eyes you would think Peter Gabriel was on stage. With all five combined, they put on a great show. Wish there was a CD available. Will definitely see them again.

I've seen Peter Gabriel on every one of his US tours since "Selling England by the Pound" with Genesis. I've also seen every one of his solo tours. The early solo tours with Jerry Marotta and Larry Fast were unforgettable. These guys are the real deal. I saw them a few years back with Tony Levin on bass and it was truly a pleasure. I've also seen the video of the recent lineup with Trey Gunn and the young lead singer. If you are a big Peter Gabriel fan of the first 4 albums this show seems like an absolute must. Don't miss it !!!
