Amazing group of musicians! These 5 really know how to excite your soul. Such a pleasure to see these talented persons together at such a historic, intimate venue! Long may they live to rock my soul.Joan Osbourne slowly wiping the sweat off her body at side stage between songs,,, slow and sexy were her motions,,, Jackie Greene, the brilliant multi talented musician who can play guitar and keys at the same time,, is the woman's favorite fantasy!

Trigger Hippy is putting other rock bands on notice. They play outstanding original music, and they play it in your face like rock should be played. We've been going to see this band for a few years now...whenever they've been within three or four hours from us. We were so psyched that so many of our friends would get to see them, and they brought it! Their talent, individually, and as a band, is world-class. Joan Osborne's singing is formidable. Don't miss these rock 'n' roll superstars!

Great show. Joan Osborne is a star with an amazing voice and stage presence. Jackie Greene can do it all: writes great songs, plays excellent guitar and keys, and has a very good voice as well. Other three band members, including Steve Gorman on drums, are very talented. Band has true musicianship and truly seem to enjoy playing together. Great songs/setlist. Feedback from audience was very strong. Go see this band.

Very good band, Joan and Jackie really steal the show, but the whole band is solid and the setlist was outstanding.

The Bijou Theatre is a small venue. It probably holds less than 400 people. It is an old, well-refurbished, attractive, cozy location. It was perfect for Trigger Hippy! The show was high energy, tender, and entertaining. It was the first time I had heard them even though my husband had purchased their debut album when it was previously released. Great audience response with clapping, stomping feet, whistles, and dancing! A fun concert. I would definitely attend their concerts.

Trigger Hippy put on a tremendous show at the Birchmere August 17! My second time seeing them. Joan was in great voice and really brought the audience into the show. Jackie was fabulous on guitars and keyboards. Real soul of the performance. And I'll need to learn the names of the other folks because they were stand outs in their own right. Waiting for album release.

Trigger Hippy rocked the house. This is a group of extremely talented, veteran musicians who played a tight set of rock and blues. Knocked it out of the park.

Have wanted to catch these guys since I caught wind of them in 2011 or so, and they certainly did not disappoint! Have always enjoyed Jackie and Joan, especially once they mixed into the Grateful Dead world through Phil and they sound great together. Great harmonies and trading of vocals between the two of them. I was not too familiar with Tom Bukovac, but I was very impressed by his playing. Songs that stood out included Turpentine, Don't let me down (Beatles), Pocahontas, Snatchin', Ain't Persuaded (which I believe was the song with the "Use Me" riff), When This Battle Is Over, Tennessee Mud, Fire On The Mountain Jam to end the show, and Heartache On The Line. Really fun band, only complaint I could come up with was that I wish Jackie played guitar a bit more. Certainly recommend this band!

Joan Osborne is one of my favorite singers. I love her voice. She is an incredible singer. I have seen in play as a duet four times. I do not like her in Hippy Trigger! You could not hear or understand the words she was singing. The vocals were not loud enough and the rest of the music was too loud. Very disappointed. I will not go to another Hippy Tripper event. We ended up leaving after the third song.

Trigger Hippy was awesome Jackie Greene outdid himself fantastic performance, the band played with the professionalism and flow expected from such high end musicians. The Brooklyns really got the crowd going pumping some serious energy like I haven t felt in years, being real having fun with the crowd living the moment as true souls of music, I have to say Trigger Hippy almost lost the crowd to this new comers, they showed some serious power on that stage and I can t wait to hear them Rock again live they were AMAZING!!!!!!! The brooklyns Guitarists Tom and Sean in tune guitar solo they Rocked my world SEAN was unreal I havent seen a guitar being played so flawlesly since (Disturbed-Stricken) and Tom drinking a beer While playing Dude that was Epic this guys brought back the GUITAR HERO .

Great energy, superb talent, flawless execution Could have been best concert I've ever been to, but for sound guys turning volume WAY too high. Acoustics are decent at Port City Music, but - with earplugs - decibel level was mostly painful. This band generates their own power, they shouldn't let it be pushed past the point of comfort

I had high expectations for this show - and they were exceeded. Jackie Greene brought high energy, enthusiasm, soulful vocals, and expert musicianship both on guitar and keys. The guitar interplay between he and Tom Bukovac evoked images of Duane Allman and Dickey Betts - without sounding a thing like the Allman Brothers. Steve Gorman (drums) and Nick Govrik (bass) held down a steady anchor, and we were even treated to a few songs with Nick on vocals. I was really expecting novelty songs, throwing the bass player a bone, but these songs were worth their salt as well and definitely not just filler. And Joan Osborne - what can I say? Her vocals are top notch, whether singing a lead, trading vocals with Jackie, or just backing up. As far as I can tell this was an all original setlist. I'm not super familiar with TH's body of work, but there wasn't a song I didn't enjoy grooving to. I will not hesitate to see this band again whenever they are within striking distance of my home. You should give them a shot if they are playing near you. You won't regret it.
