My daughter is a great kid. Not only to me but as a student. So involved in school. So loving. Her greatest joy is music, fav artist Prince Royce. I surprised her on 8/17/13 at the H20 festival. She was there to see Prince Royce live!! Her hug and her thank you's were endless. My baby will carry this memory forever and Im grateful for the opportunity. God is good.

There were a lot of my favorite bands playing this year so my husband and I decided to splurge on VIP tickets. Once we got there, the organization was pretty minimal and the area that said "VIP entrance" was so where near either stage. We saw some people showing their vip wrist bands to an area very close to an empty stage. Luckily, we decided to follow since that put us almost front and center of the main stage where all of the best artists were going to perform. This was fantastic, but as the night went on the area became so over crowded that you could barely take a step. I couldn't even dance to my favorite songs because there was only room enough to bounce back and forth. People were pushing and shoving and at one point the guy next to me full on elbowed me in the temple. By the time the headliner came on at 11:00pm (we'd been there since 3) everyone around us looked utterly exhausted. There isn't a pair of shoes in the world that could keep you comfortable after standing for so many hours on your feet..and I work 8 hours a day on my feet so I thought I'd be fine. There aren't any seat so what you get is what you get...unless of course someone pushes you out of the way.

The music was good but people were jumping from ga to vip I paid extra for a good show and was getting squished with the extra ppl in vip. There was no where to sit in vip even though our tickets had seat numbers. The main reason it was not excellent was yall didnt come back to Dallas had to flybout there for a show that was no where as good as Dallas 2012.

I loved Tribe's set they were amazing, they get 5 stars. Pitbull was the headliner and sounded terrible. The rest of the event was LAME! Don't try to sell me mayonnaise at a concert. Overly marketed. If you want to sell me something set up a merch table so I can buy a concert tee, duh!

Overall I had a good time. In my opinion, the genre of music was too diverse. I wish there would have been a better balance between the genres. DJ Chuckie got the party started, and A Tribe Called Quest was spectacular. Pitbull took really long to come out on stage, and the DJ leading up to Pitbull, after A Tribe Called Quest, kept calling the festival Uforia. I did not like how I could not take beer out of the beer garden because I had to leave my friends that are not twenty one behind.

The whole event seemed unorganized and the VIP was too crowded. They should limit the amount of VIP tickets sold. By the time the big performers like Prince Royce and Pitbull came on, there was no space or good view!!! No point in paying so much for "VIP"!! You also couldn't drink a beer outside a playpen area due to BABIES and minors being allowed to this event...??! No one under 18 should be allowed!!! Terrible that we saw people in a crowd of weed and drugs, holding their baby and feeding them a bottle?! WTH!? Prince Rouce and Pitbull were the only reason we went.

Everything was great. Well organized and layed out. It was a beautiful venue with a Dodger game going on and a beautiful L.A. City Skyline in the background. The staging and technical/video was a great touch. Everything about the venue was so cool and the sound was amazing the bass when Snoop Dogg came on stage just about blew me off my feet...I loved it. I wish Ozomatli would of had more time on stage and would have been scheduled on the main stage. In my opinion they are a true L.A. band whose sound reflects many of the cultural diverse aspects of Los Angeles. It's too bad they had technical difficulties and collisions with the video team and of course I would of loved to hear more of them. Overall the festival was well worth the price of the ticket.

The bass was way too loud I could barely hear the performers and the sound hurt my ears. John legend is a extraordinary singer and had several instruments on stage and we could barely hear his voice over the bass. Gym class heroes didn't show up, and Alesha was the most horrible singer performer I have ever heard. The arrangement of the lineup was terrible.

The show had so much potential with a wide variety of acts, Come on who goes to a festival and sees Snoop Dogg and Intocables on the same show right? But some acts were way too short. There is no justice in having Ozomatly on for only 20 minutes, Come On H2O!. Another thing they could have fixed was the stage positioning. Whye would you have a main state and the second stage right next to it? Isn't the purpose of multiple stages is to have multiple acts on at the same time? Fix these things and I'll be there next year.

Maybe it was the unknown artist line up.... Maybe it was the sound quality... Maybe it was the technical difficulties.... Maybe it was the order of the performances... Maybe it was the fact they didn't stick to the order of performance they had posted on the website... or Maybe it was the lack of water to wash your hands after using the portable toilets... but this was the worst concert/music festival I have ever been to!!!! Granted, there were a few good performers in the lineup that I was excited to see.. (snoop dogg and ozomatli) but they only peformed for 15 min each?!?!?! Hands down the best performance was Ozomatli, they had the entire venue screaming, jumping and singing along... for the whole 15 minutes they were on stage... It took them longer to set up their equipment than to perform. I could tell the band wasn't happy, but they kept it proffesional and rocked the house. Then you had the no name artists that no one ever heard of, taking up 45 to 50 minutes to perform and dying for applause. I felt bad for a lot of them, they only had 20-30 people at the most clap sympatheticly for them. I was emberrased for them. The bass on every single performance was way too high, I had problems hearing the singers most of the time. One of the female artists had her music completely die on her, and while she continued to sing with no music, once her song was over she just stood on stage starring at the crowd and the crowd wishing she would just get off the stage. She tried to get people into her and her music, but she was a nobody that wasn't really atracting much attention from the crowd... but yet she still had lost more time to perform than Ozomatli (who rocked it!!) I don't understand what the organizers were thinking having all these no name artists follow the big names?!?! They should have been the warm up artists and limited to 15 minutes NOT the main attraction and given almost a whole hour. How are you going to have John Legend followed by a Bieber wanna be??? WORST SHOW EVER!

There was vip stated on a certain area but I could not get in that area. I had a vip ticket. Futheremore there was no control in the vip area and as a consequence there was a lot of people from yhe general section which jumped over the railing and entered illegaly into the vip area, making this more crowded than it should be.

It was a nice mixture of music. If you went for one genre and had an open mind, chances are there was an act that gained positive reaction. Case in point i went for ATCQ (A Tribe Called Quest) but Roberto Tapia was great !! If De La Soul or ATCQ plays again next year I will be there !!!

We arrived and it seemed cool from outside the gates with the big screen playing some techno but once we got in it was a whole different story. The couple acts that we saw sucked in my opinion. The food sucked & too expensive. The crowd wasn't the crowd I'm use to seeing at festivals either... i don't know, I guess as Dom Kennedy would say - It ain't my type of party. Wish I could get my money back being that I left within the first hour and didn't even stay to see Pitbull. Not to mention Ne-Yo cancelled? Not cool

Overall, I had a great time! It was a fun way to spend my Saturday and I got to see some artists that I really enjoyed! The artists that were not as well known were actually pretty good as well. The only cons I can really think of is that they took too long to bring out everyone. People had been there since 3pm or earlier, we were standing for hours and were tired by the end. I just wanted to see Pitbull and go home. He was the last act (amazing!). Also, the earlier you get there, the better view you get (obviously). Some people tried shoving their way to the front, other than that it was pretty fair first come, first serve. And it still wasn't bad, you could see well and hear the music just fine. Sometimes a little too loud, but overall it was good. The artists knew how to interact with the audience. Still, I did enjoy the artists and DJs. It was a great price, I would go again.

The festival was great in so many ways. It was only about $45 after fees, there was plenty of room and there was a variety of good artists. About the only knock on this place is that it gets kind of "iffy" in the late hours when we had to leave the venue. My specific comments below: *Venue: The set up was great, sound was very clear and the lightening effects were outstanding. I was surprised how nice that set up was considering it was outdoors. There was plenty of space to walk around, and there was plenty of people that had blankets on the outskirts of the park. *Concert Lineup: All of the artists that I listed to (Prince Royce and after) were great, and the only thing I would have changed was that some played a little more time, as it moved very quickly. Concessions: There was so many food trucks with a variety of food. I think this is a practice that other events should get into. Slightly on the pricey side but I would much rather choose to spend $10 on a funky taco plate that the standard pizza/burger fare you get at standard venues. Great concert, and can't wait to come to the next one!

My wife and I attended the H20 concert in LA this past weekend. Lets just say it Pitbull puts on an amazing and high energy show for his fans. We love his music and his upbeat message when performing.. Cant wait to see him again!!!!! Lets not forget the artists that came before that we got to experience, Prince Royce made a local girls dream come true when he brought her on stage. The best energy just before Pitbull for me was DJ Chuckie great set. A Tribe Called Quest should not be missed. La Santa Cecilia was so fun to watch because of their overwhelming talent. **these are the only acts we were able to see, we would have seen more of the acts except we had to find parking as the parking company at Main St & Alhambra Ave were pulling a bait and switch on the cost to park in their lot. They would advertise $10 on the street and flag you down and run you through a parking maze and then they want $30 and if you dont like it they yell at you and pound on your car to get you out of the lot.** we parked at a srtucture on Spring between Alpine & College closer and cheeper.

The bands were all good, some of them I had never heard of. I wish there were maybe more vendors. Some shopping always works at these concerts, as well as freebies! The venue was kid friendly, I saw lots of them. The alcohol is confined to a certain area which avoids people spilling on you. Looking forward to next year's line up. Very good variety!

The set list was great!! I loved pitbull!!! Went to the festival last year and it wasn't bad for its first year. We had a great time sitting on the hill and watching the artists perform from the beer garden. However, this years set up was not at all what we hoped. We invited more friends and family to join us hoping they would get the same experience we did last year and unfortunately none of us did. The hill became the VIP area and the beer garden behind it was blocked off from seeing the artists perform with a big black gate??? Why? I have no idea. Therefore, we were unable to comfortably sit down and watch the performances. Instead, if you wanted to sit, your patch of grass was going to be at the very back by all the booths. NO THANKS! Just wish it could've been better organized. I would give it another shot but if next year doesn't get better, it won't be worth any more of my time.
