Great night of music... always with Spike and the Impalers.

Opening band and Spike & The Impalers were really good but the overall Christmas show was not even close in comparison to the Christmas show they put on about 4 or 5 years ago at Snoqualmie Casino.

The music was awesome!!! Wish they could have played longer though! The drinks were a little overpriced. All and all it was a good time!

THIS IS THE 3RD YEAR THAT I HAVE SEEN SPIKE & THE IMPALERS AND THEY ROCKED THE HOUSE ONCE AGAIN......Just keep them coming back.....I also listen to the Bob Rivers Show on KJR,,,,,I'm soooo glad that they are back on the air I really missed my morning show

thinking that they did a lot of "twisted" material, I was expecting some "twisted" songs. Was sitting TOO close to the front speakers, (my husband was having a good time) and could not enjoy the music without having the base pounding through me. Could not see the entire stage because of the equipment on the front of the stage.

Nice job KJR guys. Great seeing you all on the stage together.

As always the energy was high and the band brought it !!!! It did seem that there was some sound board issues. At times the vocals could not be heard and the instruments seemed to clash. I would not hesitate to see them again. They always bring it and the amount of talent on stage is amazing.

Best Cover Band I have ever seen. 5 Stars just for Spike and Bob. Even missing Kaci they kicked. Even with Front Row Tickets on Lord AArons side I have to confess. I will see the Band again many times, but doubt ever again at this venue.

This is the fifth time I have seen this band, and they just keep getting better. They are amazing musicians, and they always seem to be having fun. I love the way they always showcase new talent.

Really enjoyed the show. Brought back some fond memories. Some pretty fine talent.

Spike and the Impalers always puts on a killer show! The Proud mary song blew my mind.

GOOD OLD ROCK AND ROLL AT ITS BEST. THEY PLAYED AND SANG AMAZINGLY WELL. THE SPIKETTES ROCKED AS WELL

Good songs and music but it was too loud. Music doesn't need to be played at that decibel Level. Primarily, it was the bass was thundering. Balance and mix of the other mics was good. The website for Rivers played a fun classic with normal volume. It was deceiving.

I've been to alot of Spike & the Impalers shows, good - but this not their best show. Bob did a good job, he has been practicing! Spike sounded like he had a bad cold. Things happen, no biggie. What can you say about Joe, he is the best! Danelle Hayes & the Spikettes are awesome, would like to hear more. I was really looking forward to Kacie, she also has her own following. Gives Spike more of a break as well. Folks in the crowd yelling her name. Love the talent, Lyn & Jeff rock. Hard to top the show with the catholic high school choirs singing along on The Wall...

GREAT CONCERT! As always, Spike and the gang put on an awesome show --- great classic rock, played by excellent musicians!

Here is the problem I had with this concert. The musicians were talented, the music sounded great, however, each song just went on and on and on and on! I would have loved to hear more songs and less jamming! The drummer was incredible, but his drum solo went on for days. I kept checking my watch, and just when I thought it was over, he'd start up again. The other low point was the guest singer, Danelle. She had a decent voice, but she jumped around like a drunken party girl! Not at all like a polished professional. I thought the Spikettes had better voices than she did! The highlight on the evening for me were the guitarists. All of them were incredibly talented and great to watch!

instruments very load, couldnt really focus on the vocals as they were singing through there music not over the top. i play as well and i believe the blame for this is the guys on the boards.

My husband and I saw Spike and the Impalers in December at the Snoqualmie Casino. We liked that venue better than the Queen. The band was great! I did enjoy the show a liitle more at the Snoqualmie. I liked the opening comedian and seemed like a little more bang for the buck. I don't like walking through the smoking area of the Emerald Queen. Wish I would have known there was a better door to go in. Next time I will use that one. Even that one does have a little smoke in the area. As far as the show goes...really missed Casey and many people we talked to went in hopes she would be there. Great job guys and girls. Loved the Spikettes solo wish they would have done a couple more songs though. Loved the music choices and a few new songs thrown in.

Although Spike missed some of those hard to reach notes, the entertainment was great. The whole band interacted well with the audience, and the talent of each band member is phenomenal. This was two hours of action packed fun.

The band sounded very good for having so many people on the stage. Spike's vocals were easy to hear over the instruments. I thought the tickets were a bit pricey ($56 with fees) for sitting in the "VIP area". No opening band and a 90 minute show should be more affordable. The set list was very good. Why no photography? You can take pictures at many high end concerts.

Was a great time ! Very entertaining we both enjoyed the show !

Good show overall. I had a good time. Had some sound issues with the bass, it was very distorted and too loud for few minutes. And some mike and system hum feedback. That was NOT professional at all!

The comedy act was not that funny and WAY too long. It put me in a bad mood before the show even started. We only stayed for two songs....not sure why they even chose the 1st song, but I wouldn't go see this group again, ever.

Fun comedy warm ups - good wit, nice humor. Andrew Rivers is definitely up and coming. Kept good flow and command of the stage. Spike and the Impalers were great! Had been about 6 years since we've seen them live. Female vocalist Summer was off the charts Amazing! Nailed the Heart and Zepplin songs. The talent of the group was incredible-Rick Knotts played incredible guitar, Lynn Sorenson completely engaging on bass and violin, and Jeff Kathan impressively on drums. Of course, Joe on cowbell-can't be beat! Looking forward to an all ages show so we can bring the kids to experience such great music!

Bob, Spike & Joe are 3 of my favorite guys for over 25 years now. Every year they keep coming up with new and original material to keep me entertained. They never disappoint. It's awesome to see the progression of Bob's work on the keys, too. I really enjoyed the horn section. I hadn't seen them before, so what a treat. Nice that Santa came, as well. Overall, the best Christmas show I've been to in a loooooooong time!!!

They are so much fun. And I loved their special guest. I want to sing like Summer. Andrew did a great job with his comedy. And I don't remember the name of the first guy, but he was good too. Looking forward to next year.

Once again, great music and a good time. I really missed the Spikettes and other special guests they usually have. The singer in the Heart by Heart was great but I misses Kacey. Maybe I am getting old but the acoustics just weren't good for me. I couldn't here much of the horn section or the lead guitar. Maybe a bit too much bass drum.

great show, would have liked to have more singing and less comedy even though comedy ewas good, last year there were girls in santa helper suits and no eye candy this year. Overall, fanatastic show, can't wait until next years show

The talent of the musicians was a complete surprise. Very entertaining.

Great show! Hope to go next year too. Andrew was hysterical and great to see in person. The Impalers rocked along with their guests. The only down side was the smoke as is the case at any casino event. Love the Bob Rivers show and can't wait to hear the commentary. Well worth the drive from out of town.

This had to be the worst concert I have ever been too. The bass was so loud and the drummer was so off beat. Left the event after the 4th song. The best part of the show was the comedian who opened.

Loved the show and their music. I have been waiting a long time to be able to go to one of their shows. Also, liked most of the guest musicians that they had included in their show

I love Spike and the Impalers however this show sucked due to SRO. This was an indoor concert with no seats! It should have been held out-of-doors where you could have at least sat in the grass! No more SRO shows for me!

My husband is a huge fan of the morning show and all the characters so I bought tickets for Father's Day. The Tulalip Casino was a beautiful venue although the seating/ticket set up is unclear. SRO with a seat number and row should not be on the ticket. General admission would be clearer. Nonetheless, we stood up front and enjoyed the show. My husband was thrilled to see the cast and crew and Kaci, WOW! That girl can ROCK! The bartenders were super friendly, and Security was firm but not jerks given the confusion of the seating. After a rockus show, we stood in the back parking lot and Boom City performed an impromptu firework show that blew the doors off any local sponsored show. What a great night!!!!

Spike and the Impalers and Bob Rivers are a perennial favorite of ours. But, it seemed like they didn t have it all together last night. Notes and lyrics were off, the mix was poor, the venue was lousy both acoustically and comfort-wise particularly compared to the prior year outdoor stage, too may intermittent newcomers, and the set list didn t flow. I will probably pass the next time they re performing, whereas after last year s performance, I swore that I would never miss a show!

I have listened to Bob, Spike and Joe for years and this was the first concert my wife and I went to. I thought I knew what to expect but I was blown away! What a great show. My wife didn't know much about the members or what kind of music they played but was also very surprised how everyone could rock the songs. We were celebrating our 33 anniversary and spent the night at the hotel, we really had a great time. Thank you

I don't recall having that much fun at a concert, not in spite of having to stand, but because of it. We met some great folks who shared their standing table, and I danced the night away with my handsome husband. Fabulous night.

Sorry, wish I could say it was great, but it wasn't. Not even a good cover band. All 4 in my group left early

I would love to see them again. I was only disappointed with the standing room only thing. I have a bad back & having to stand the entire time was painful for me. Ugh! Spike & the Impailers was very awesome but next time I want to be able to sit down! The music is great, the performers were awesome & I loved the show.

Show was very entertaining! The selection of songs was great. Lynn, Jeff, Rick, and Kaci where the standouts!! Also, the folks you brought on stage to perform a song or two were terrific. All of them were GREAT, GREAT, GREAT.

Wonderful to have the performers having as good a time as the audience! My 2 nd time seeing them,( xmas show 2012 1st), without a doubt a better show! Loved the guests, all of them! 28 year old daughter and I went and from the banjo player, to harpist, blues singer/ player, drummer, electric guitar/ digerido,Cassie!, horns, violin,chello, Stevie, Dirty Deeds, and too much more to name. The show rocked! Again, when the performers enjoy themselves that much, a great show happens. Heard people complain befor it started about standing room only, but I wouldn't want it any other way! Got to dance through the whole thing! Thank you Bob, Spike, Pedro, Eric and , again, too any to name!

I will have to say, this wasn't their best show. The venue was not good for them. The Snoqualmie casino is a bigger room so out sounds better. We love hearing them outside too. We missed Erin Balsley.

These guys really rock. They cover the 60's and 70's as good as any group I've seen. Their guests were outstanding.

This concert was better than I expected even though I listen to the Bob River's show every day and had convinced myself that this must be a talented group and worth taking I their show. I was totally surprised at how big the band was and all the instruments that were being used. Impressive covers of songs but of the Chicago song in particular, that one was a tough one to do well and they did a great job. So our review of Spike and the Impalers is great. Now then let's tak about the other acts they brought in to share the stage with. ALL of them were fantastic. The only thing that was a bit of a problem was that the band drown out the harp most of the time. I would suggest doing the same kind of search for local talent in the future - it made a great show even better.

It was incredible; I loved the diversity. The Blues duo; the digerie doo; the rock banjo and the finale- Stevie blew me away with her interpretation of "A little Help from My Friends". - Stevie has the passion and it was conveyed in her singing. I was very sad though, that Aaron Balsley - the young guitar phenom, was not there (he adds such pizazz to their shows), and I thouroughly enjoy Danelle and the Spikettes (also absent from this show). The horn section was great; Jeff Latham and Lynn Sorenson along with Scott on Sax are so incredibily awesome that words cannot describe. Down town Joe did justice to the Joe Walsh tune; Spike & Kaci as always kills! Steve Hanna, Pedro and the new horn section added greatly to the show. Arik Korman is certainly coming along with his bass paying - always a pleasure. I don't know the name of the other guitar player who seems to be taking Aaron's place; he is good but I miss Aaron and hope he will be present at future shows.

Good concert! Good music, great special guests. Good, crowd with plenty of energy.

Great show, all acts were very good. It was an enjoyable evening.

Heart by Heart is AMAZING! If you haven't seen them live you have to do it soon!

Wings and Things...meh. Heart by Heart was okay, but Spike and the Impalers put on an awesome, rockin' show offering a wide range of classic rock hits/artists.

Best shgow ever. It was good to Bob and Spike again. To bad Joe couldn't make it.

GREAT SHOW, IT WAS GOOD TO SEE BOB, AND SPIKE AGAIN. I HOPE THEY PLAN FOR MORE CONCERTS.

I have attended every Spike & the Impalers concert at Emerald Queen since the band got together plus all their twisted Christmas shows and a few at Tulalip, Marymoor Park, and other venues, which included several all ages shows to which I have taken kids and grandkids. I have never been disappointed all these years. It is like seeing all your favorite groups in one show. Saturday night was no exception. The young lady newly added to the line-up belted out Janis like nobody's business and the rest of the band reminded me so much of Big Brother and the Holding Company. It was particularly wonderful to hear Lynn play his electric violin in more songs than usual - sweet! As always, Spike kills! These guys bring the fun!

The show was awesome. Great talent and lots of fun. The audience as thrilled but I could have done without all of the back and forth and the people standing in front of us. We opted for the overnight at the hotel - BIG MISTAKE. You can't get to your room without going through the smoking casino. We also had to wait 40 minutes for the shuttle back from the event - which is ridiculous when they know they have an event over with lots of people waiting. I feel sorry for the people that did not fit on that shuttle and had to wait even longer. Other than that - the concert was a great memory for the celebration of my birthday.

Beautiful night for an evening full of fun. Everyone on stage put on a good show and appeared to be having a great time doing so. Very entertaining. Disappointed Casey wasn't there.

Terrific performance. I especially liked the guess singers he had too. The woman had an amazing voice and the guy named Tom was plugged in totally! Great entertainment all the way.

what a comfortable evening -- many of the hits from the past and of course guest musicians and singers which performed local hits. We will definitely do this again.

High energy and wonderful tunes on a hot evening....Loved the ensemble of Spike and his group...lots of sounds and everyone did something, even beating sticks in rhythm.... Had never been to this venue before...difficult to find the entrance...they need better signage... enjoyed the breeze at ground level and in the birch trees surrounding...the grass on my feet was lovely too.

Both bands were Great. We sat in the center all we heard was the great bass and drums. The leads were all drowned out by the bass and drums. None of us got to hear lee oscar harp! Or Guitar leads. Oh well good bands bad sound man

I have seen Spike and The Impalers numerous times, and never tire of the excitement they provide or the music they play. First time to the Tulalip venue...loved it! I liked how you can stand back by the beer garden, and still view the stage perfectly. I'll be back. Additionally, I am impressed with all the band members and their willingness to talk to the people one on one before and after each show. They are real people.

Highly recommend seeing Spike and the Impalers any time you get a chance. Ultra high energy, great music, rotating musical guests.

This is my favorite outdoor show every year! They are so good and fun !!!!! I tell everyone about what an amazing group of musicians they are and they always have local talent that would not otherwise be seen.....

My two friends and I were very disappointed. The loud music drowned out the lead singer's voice. When the guests they had sung, it was great!!!!! We could hear them. Unfortunately, the guests didn't play long.

Queen Nation was out of this world, spot on, me , I'm a Boston nut, and "Third Stage" was awesome. I only have one wish, that they turn up the volume, at times those awesome Boston licks were unheard in row 11 by those bad-ass Guitars.

I saw the 'gang' 3 yrs ago and was SO impressed (even more) this time around.

Kaci was missing. The band performed well as always but I missed seeing Kaci. They played for less than two hours which was disappointing.

AMAZING..... I would go see them again. Had a blast.

This was my second time the band rocked and i will do it again.

Sometimes for the better, sometimes not. The 5th time I've seen the Impalers and thorougly enjoyed every time. The current line up isn't as strong as it was a couple years ago. I really miss the depth and range of Kaci's vocals. The band is sometimes better, never has it been bad.

Sorry Jody....painful but you would do a great Joan Jett....love you anyway

Singers' mikes were too low. Grew up in the 60s and 70s, however, only recognized and enjoyed 50% of the songs. Drummer was amazing. Peter Rivera was highlight of the show. Very special guest. Jodie's "act" did not add to the show.

Speakers at that venue were not the best. Some people who were right under them in the front row moved early on and watched from the side aisles. Wish there had been more Christmas songs. When I saw the title of the concert I thought it would be all twisted Christmas songs. There are enough of them to make a nice long concert. Saw them perform in the summer and the set was similar. They are good but will wait awhile before seeing them again. screens pre-show kept saying no photos or video. People who came in after it started, took pictures and recorded the whole time. Nice to try to see around someone holding their phone up in your line of vision. Ushers saw and did nothing.

We flew from Reno to attend the concert (the first we've been able to attend because of scheduling it from a distance). The show was everything we hoped for... and more. The band is even better than their CD. Everyone on the show and in the band really connected with the audience (yes, there were at least 15 standing ovations). And their music - pure classic rock with some great twisted chrismas tunes mixed in. And having Steve Fossen and Summer Masic doing Heart songs was the icing on the cake. Well worth the round trip airfare to come up and we'll be up at their next event for sure! Oh, and we can't forget Andrew. We've listened to him for 5+ years on the show, but seeing him is person showed just how far he's come. Great set and again, he really connected with the audience.

Was actually expecting more Christmas tunes, not a basic show. Some folks sitting near us left because of this. Still a great show. The comedians had there moments, definitely not ready for prime time.
