There was apparently a last minute scheduling conflict, so the venue had their bartender twho admitently doesn't usually play country music go Up on stage for over two hours! Multiple times throughout the show, she mentioned that she's more of a rock girl but had some old country stuff she could pull out of the vault. The show was also supposed to have successful songwriters from Nashville tell inspiring success stories. This girl just told really depressing stories about the struggle to make it in LA. She had a nice voice but this was NOT what we payed for. And we were NOT notified of the show change by the venue nor Ticketmaster. I've filed a complaint and asked for a refund from Ticketmaster who was appauled at what happened and that they were not notified of the change either.

What a nice surprise we were in for, as we listened to the stories and songs from the people who wrote them. Songwriters need more credit than they get, I found out.

IT WAS GOOD TO SEE WHO ACTUALLY WRITES THE SONGS THAT BECOME #1 HITS. SHOW WAS VERY GOOD AND WOULD SEE IT AGAIN, SINCE THEY HAVE DIFFERENT SONGWRITERS EVERY WEEK. IT WAS VERY ENTERTAINING AND ENLIGHTENING.

Although the songwriters were good, this show lasted only one hour and fifteen minutes. Typically a show lasts two hours. Just a short event for the ticket price. In addition the songs I expected to hear that had been listed were not played and we heard other songs instead which was a disappointment. The service at the venue (Harrahs) was terrible. It took server 53 minutes sitting in vip seats for us to even have server come and take our order when the showroom was virtually empty. It then took another 20 minutes to get the tiny drinks.

There was not enough about how the songs came about. Mostly listening to songwriters with not the best voices sing their songs...quite a few of which had not been recorded by anyone yet. One of participants the night we were there kept forgetting the words to his songs.

It's not very often that I would be willing to watch the same show over again but I would definatly watch these guys again. Nashville unplugged shines a light on the true artists behind the country music we hear. The song writers get little to no recognition but in truth are the bones of great music we listen to daily. I recommend everyone go see this show whether it's in Reno, Vegas or any other venue they play at.

I thought this was a great show. It showcased not only great song writers, but really made me feel like I was getting a behind the scenes look and connecting with the music. I loved the intimate setting and the personal connection.

This is a very interesting show as the performers were all country music song writers who were telling stories about the songs that they wrote and performing them. The emcee of the show was Aaron Benwood, also a song writer and performer. He was very energetic and did a great job. With him were D. Vincent Williams and Wynn Varble, both successful in their own right as song writers and their singing was also very good. D. Vincent Williams was one of the song writers for the James Otto hit "I Just Started Loving You. His performance of the song was very enjoyable. Varble's singing of "Ain't Goin' Down on Brokeback Mountain", which he wrote for Willie Nelson, was very good and humorous. While Aaron Benwood kept things on track Wynn Varble added a lot of humor at every opportunity. This is a very clever, informative, entertaining and unique show and highly recommended.
