Masque of the Red Death

I always love going to Akron Civic for any event but the Masque of the Red Death exceed every expectation and more. The music, food, drinks and most importantly the entertainment was top notch. Can t wait to go again next year.

The friendly and creative people who attended made this event amazing! The venue was a beautiful and wonderful surprise which made the night magic.

This was my husband and my 2nd Masque Ball, we had a wonderful time. The crowds are very friendly and festive. The costumes are wonderful and creative. The food is just ok, but I do not fault the theater, a caterer can only do so much without a kitchen at their disposal. The scavenger hunt was thought-provoking and fun. The DJ could have read his audience a bit better, it's a party not a run of the mill wedding, but a good time was still had by everyone. The entertainers were fantastic. The acting was fun and over the top, I will say we were a bit disappointed at the reveal of who "death" was. It just seemed very fast and uneventful for an evening of build up. None of this would stop us from recommending the event to others. Not only will we attend again, we plan on bringing more people with us if we are in town.

This event is the best halloween party and it has lots of alcohol so it's a good night :-D
