A supernova of musical genius with a few unexpected surprises thrown in for good measure.

Clint Mansell put on a beautiful show while also speaking between songs not only to explain how they came to be but also to share stories. It was great to see such an amazing artist also be a real person. Knowing where inspiration came from to create such touching and complex music was a treat. A note to people at "sit down" shows: Have some respect. Talking, checking your phone, getting up in the middle, etc. are all very uncouth things to do. Wait until people are clapping between songs to do these things. Commenting on the song you just heard between songs makes sense, chatting half the time is obnoxious. Checking your phone is distracting and disengages others from the music as well as denoting you're bored. Getting up during a song, that's just disrespectful. The artists can see you, and you're distracting to everyone (especially during a show that at times had very quiet music).
