This is the second time that I have seen Whitney do her stand-up act. She is absolutely amazing. I have to admit, it takes a lot to make me laugh. She had me going right from the start. I love that she is so down to earth. You can relate to the stuff she talks about. She even stayed to sign autographs and take pictures. She is just the greatest.

I had no idea that this was going to be such a raunchy show. We had been to several other comedy shows at the same venue, and they were all really good. This show was promoted as just being funny, not dirty. I think 90% of what she talked about was filthy, disgusting, embarrassing, and not even clever - just shock value. We had great seats at least. But I wish the write up would have mentioned that it was XXX material. Got tired of hearing the F word and every joke was about some sexual perversion. No creativity.

Best night of comedy I've had in a long time. Her material is hilarious. Her timing, mannerisms, everything about her presentation is supurb. She's a natural, amazing talent. Effortlessly funny. She seems like the kind of person whose career is going to skyrocket and you'll be bragging that you saw her live at some small venue.

While whitney cummings was funny. i enjoyed her opening act much more. I am not an old prude, but I'm sorry there was just too much F this and F this to make this show enjoyable. She did a couple of funny stories and then half the show was spent interacting with the audience, which was not in the least bit funny. I assume she ran out of material to do for the amount of time she was up there, so was just trying to fill space till the show was over. It would be nice if the blue chip would also have a policy about leaving the show once its started. We were seated near the doors, and the constant traffic of people going in and out created such a draft that we thought we were going to freeze to death. The open doors created quite a wind tunnel and the people continually going in and out made it difficult to watch the show.

Truly a natural. Her sense of humor across simple things with an edge and a touch of filth was what I tend to crave. The bonus material she shared for the roast she is taping next week was really funny. Me and my girlfriend laughed through out

Whitney cummings was very funny. Her act was tight and she knew how to play the audience. She interacted with the audience more than I've seen other comedians which made me feel we were part of the show yet she didn't let it get out of hand. She brought out some new material for another show she was taping, borrowed a pen from someone in the audience, and used our reactions to base which jokes she would use. She promised we would see them on the show and we were the first to hear them. We were at a casino and we ran into her in the casino lobby after the show. She stopped to talk to us, took pictures, and didn't seem to rush away even tho we knew she was probably in a hurry to get on the road because tha weather was turning nasty. I would definitely recommend seeing her if she comes to your town Her Openning act was also very good. I don't remeber his name. He kinda ran it by quick while the crowd was still settling and didn't catch it.

Both the opening act and Whitney put on an amazing performance. It was refreshing to see even a bigger name star interact with and feed off of the audience. This event was like watching a dress rehearsal for Whitney's upcoming Comedy Central Roast. If I knew she was going to be shuffling through papers with jokes, I would say "nah, I'll keep my $30." I was hoping for a real show, not a practice round.

Whitney was hilarious for the time she was onstage. She made it clear that she was doing a short show for the purpose of signing the book she gave away to the crowd and to pose for pictures. A bit longer would certainly garner 5 stars

Whitney was adamant about not repeating the same material she used on her recent HBO Special. She did some very funny jokes about what it would be like to have Hillary or Trump in the white house and dissed them equally. She did some very funny dating jokes, and shared many great jokes from previous roasts she has participated in. Whitney was great. She was sharp, and her caustically funny self. We enjoyed the material tremendously - there was, however, a lot of wasted time in this particular show- not her fault. First it was supposed to start at 7:30 and she did not come on till 8 - no warm up act. Then about 20 minutes was spent with hecklers. It stopped a little early so people could get selfies with her, which was exciting, but because we like our Whitney, we left the show wishing there was more.

I usually love Whitney's comedy but this show was a bit of a disappointment. The show was apparently scheduled for 7:30 to 9:00. She didn't come out until 7:45 and she finished at 8:45 so that the audience could take selfies with her in the background and the hall could be cleared out at 9:00. An HBO special recently aired featuring Whitney. Because of that she chose not to do the same material, which I appreciate. However, it didn't seem like she had any material actually prepared. Instead it was a 1/2 hour of some political talk and engaging with the audience - all VERY funny - and another 1/2 hour telling old jokes from a Donald Trump roast 5 or 6 years ago - some funny, but mostly dated jokes. I did appreciate how Whitney handled the hecklers who tried to be part of her show. She laughed it off and did what good comedians do - turn it into jokes. It was only when they became disrespectful and rude that she had to shut them down. Overall, I still love Whitney and will definitely go to another show, just not after a TV special has just aired.

She admitted her recent HBO special was the source of her best material and her standup tour was new material with nothing repeated from the HBO special. That didn't stop her from engaging the audience and reflecting on current political characters as her go to source material. She was heckled, she fought back, and she had security escort guests away from the venue. When she hit a lull on minute 40, she pulled out Donald Trump Comedy Central roast scripts and read them line-by-line. She was engaged with the audience, but her material wasn't sharp just topical. The four of us were shocked when she ended the show at minute 62 and invited everyone to the stage for selfie picks. For the money spent, this was a very expensive below average night out. I was disappointed and phoned the box office to share my feedback. The box office confirmed I wasn't the only caller with a complaint.

Whitney Cummings put on a great show. She was funny from start to finish. Unfortunately there were some bad apples in the crowd that kept disrupting the show, which resulted in Whitney having security remove someone. I don't know if the disruptive people paid for tickets, or not, but my guess is they were given free tickets from the casino. One of the problems with casino venues is you end up with too many people that aren't actually fans of the performer. And they seem to have a ridiculous sense of entitlement that makes them think its okay to interrupt a show, which negatively impacts the experience for the actual paying fans. I would see Whitney Cummings again, and highly recommend her show, but I would not recommend shows at Thunder Valley Casino.

With a sold out show, I was hoping for pure comedy entertainment. The show was supposed to start at 7:30p.m. and Whitney came onto the stage after 8:00p.m. It took 15 to 20 minutes of finding a military couple from the back to take the two open seats in the front. It appeared staged. Every other word was an F bomb which I did expect but became old and tiring. The crowd was out of control which showed that she had no control. Her opening statement was that she did not like old material but most of the show was of her reading from yellow legal paper, jokes from a roast she did four plus years ago about people who are not relevant to today. Joan Rivers is dead, Pam Anderson and David Hasselhoff are long ago Bay Watch. Repeatedly talking about Lisa Lappenelli. When it was obvious that she really did not prepare, she looked at her phone a few times stating that she would end the show so the crowd could get selfies of her in the background. I was not interested at all. The show was supposed to go 90 minutes and she only was on the stage talking for about 40 minutes. AND, with a microphone, she was shouting. Very annoying. I love comedy and have seen many comedians who were members of the Chelsey Lately round table who were really good but Whitney was the worst. I would not even pay $1.00 to see her ever again.

I was really disappointed in this show...I have been following her for a couple years and was beyond excited to see her performance (especially since her tickets sell out fast). I watch her old performances and literally cannot stop laughing...but I don't know what happened to her. I'm not sure if she changed her comedy bit or what...but her jokes were not funny. She geared her bit toward politics instead of the jokes she used to make about sex and relationships. I wish her the best and am glad other people continue to enjoy her...but she lost a fan in me that night :-(

Whitney Cummings is a comedic genius on point with relevant topics and spot on delivery. This show however was more of a meet and greet. She was interactive with her fans and her fans love her but the whole time I was waiting for the show to start. Instead she spent the entire time just shooting the shit with her fans. Lucky for her she has die hard fans but without new material she will eventually see this base dehydrate. She is a rising comedic genius but I fear she may have lost her way with her new found celebrity. Sadly I would not recommend this show. Please get back to researching and writing Ms. Cummings. You have one less fan.

I felt like Ms. Cummins must have thrown out her entire comedy act after doing an HBO special and really had no act for our audience. She spent a lot of the time interacting with the audience, it felt like she spent a good 5 minutes just looking for an interracial couple. If there was a punchline when someone finally raised their hand I don't remember what it was. Then part of her act was reading us her jokes & comments that had been edited from the various celebrity roasts she has been a part of. That was pretty funny until she got her papers all mixed up and realized she was missing some papers and had brought her schedule instead. So we were watching her stand there and thumb through her papers trying to find more. I had driven 1 1/2 hour to get to this show and just found it kind of unprofessional and not really all that funny.

I enjoy Whitney Cummings. I think she's hilarious, and she was when she performed Friday night in Napa, CA. Her opening act did not fair so well with the crowd. Due to the demographic of the audience, when Whitney came out, some of her material was based on things that didn't match with the demographic. She also read a lot of old jokes from past roasts, which were funny but it kinda lost me that she had to read them to the crowd and then on top of that she lost a page of jokes and was scrambling around looking for them.

We travelled 400 miles and took our friends to this show in Napa. We were very disappointed in the performance. I'm guessing Whitney was plying to a younger crowd who follows her shows and such but she appeared to misread her audience. Whitney has great potential with her delivery and style but the last thing I want is for an artist is to read from some unorganized papers, some old jokes she wrote about Joan Rivers??? Really? Then explaining she lost part of her papers so then essentially ended the show to do "selfies" with the audience??? Not worth the drive or the money we paid. My advice-as was the advice from the 4 of us- memorize your stuff, deliver it, cut out the "selfie" portion and know your audience. We did have some laughs but not enough to justify the efforts we made to see her.

What an underwhelming performance. Two things were evident very early on: 1. She had prepared little to no material for the show 2. She was far more concerned about fans getting a chance to take selfies with her than putting on a show. Her entire performance was probably about 46 minutes, and it consisted mainly of her reading from a piece of paper "rejected jokes" from previous TV appearances. It was disappointing because you know she was capable of so much more, but obviously cared very little to give the people the show that they paid for.

We had been looking forward to seeing Whitney Cummings live at the Uptown Theatre since we bought the tickets. We loved her HBO specials and her TV shows and then, well, she was disappointing. She performed just about an hour, began good, talking and picking on people in the audience but then wasted time filing 4 empty seats in the front row from people sitting in the back, even though we knew they would show up late and they did, which distracted from her performance. Then it continued down hill. She asked if there were any mixed racial couples in the crowd since she was dating a black man as she put it and was checking how it was going for them. She made a few typical jokes about her friends reactions to her dating. Whitney seemed to totally lose concentration when a women yelled out, when are you going to start being funny. She then pulled out papers with a list of her jokes that were banded from some of the Roasts she's done on Comedy Channel. They were extremely dirty of course but again not very funny. Then she said good night and stayed on stage for 10 minutes so we could take pictures of her. That was it. Pretty bad night. Won't pay to watch her again.

Some comedians are very well prepared for their set, sometimes too prepared and the result lacks spontaneity. Whitney was determined to give us material that wasn't in her recent HBO special which I really appreciated. She also spent a lot of time interacting with the audience. All of it was very funny. I've tracked her career since the beginning and she is very comfortable in her own skin and routinely laughs at herself, which makes her show a joy.

My first chance to see Whitney, and she did not disappoint! I like that she only had one opening act, as we all know who we're really here to see. Whitney is funny as hell and filthy in concert, and I totally approve. I mean, how many female comedians do 10 minutes on "squirting." That's right, she not only did 10 minutes of hilarious material on female ejaculation, but she actually HAD 10 minutes of it to do in the first place. Amazing! SPOILER ALERT (in case you ever see Whitney live and/or date her): She does not (currently, at least) squirt. So don't ask her to. Have a chance to see her in concert? DO IT!

Whitney was testing out new material at her Detroit show and interestingly put some notes on the floor in front of her. But, when the show started, she had us laughing as she said out loud things we only think about. She is star. That is probably why she is getting a comedy special. See her if you have the chance. Just don't go on a first date. One young couple in the front row she spoke to ended leaving (maybe breaking up?). This would be a show to see with guy friends, girl friends or if you are in a solid relationship. Not first date content. One girl we sat next to drove in from Toronto to see her in Detroit she was such a big fan. There you go.

I love Whitney on Chelsea Lately so I was excited she was coming to town. I was slightly unprepared for how feminist her show is and how uncomfortable I felt during some of her jokes. Perhaps I did not bring the right person with me for her type of humor but it was way more feminist than I expected and not a fabulous time w a date because of it. Wish I would have brought a girlfriend instead, it probably would have struck me and slightly more funny. She makes some great points and I laughed none-the-less, but don't go to her show on a date, go w a gal pal.

We had tickets to her 7pm show and got there early for the sold out event. We sat in the venue for an hour and 30mins before the show started but as soon as the opening act hit the stage it was on. He warmed up the crowd for 20mins and Whitney came on. She didn't mind talking to the crowd and jokingly posing for pictures on stage before she got into the jokes. She really played to Detroits crowd and had both the women and men laughing at her material. It was my girlfriends first comedy show and Whitney has her hooked now. The tickets were $20 which was goof for someone who made a big name for herself recently this past year or two. EVERYONE go see Whitney if you have the chance

Whitney Cummings was hilarious, awesome and brilliant. Unfortunately there were two female hecklers that were annoying the crap out of everyone. I saw the staff discreetly ask them to stop, but it kept throwing off the night and was a bit of a bummer. I know hecklers are a part of the deal sometimes at comedy shows but this was a bit over the top. Despite that I still plan on going back to this venue and I'd see Whitney Cummings again either at Cobbs or anywhere else.

This was in her quotes the weirdest show she has ever had and we loved every moment of it. Whitney involved the audience in a part of her show and they were outrageous. Between her newly adopted daughter that kept coming and going during the show and practically stripping and an older gentleman that was luring two 21 year old women to his front and center VIP table, there was enough material for the whole show. It was weirdly fun and entertaining for sure. Her content was fresh and she rolled with whatever came up and was able to make us all roll on the floor laughing. This is my second show with her here and I was a huge fan of her show Whitney back in the day. I d recommend seeing her live anytime! Can t wait to see her again next time!

Whitney is one of- if not my ALL time- favorite comedians and since she was here and tickets were like $50- my boyfriend and I decided to go since we know she is hilarious and it would be a chill night. Small venue was awesome- we were literally last row but still close to the stage and could hear and see fine! We bought the end row tickets next to the handicap seats assuming they wouldn't be bought so we had 4 chairs all to ourselves and didn't have to cram against the dude next to us. OVERALL SO WORTH IT! She is amazing and super interactive with the audience and her fans after the show. We stayed after to walk up to the stage since she does selfies with fans and just waited until we were the last couple people. She truly took the time to talk to everyone and made sure EVERY SINGLE PERSON got their picture with her! SO SWEET! She is amazing and I am so happy I put pants on and left the house to see her.

Whitney was awesome ... the show wasn't long enough. We were in/out of the venue in 85 minutes, and it started 20 minutes late. That being said both her opener - Orlando Baxter and she were really really funny. But I am glad I didn't see her online comedy show, the material was exactly the same. Love the Wilbur - no seat is bad and drinks are worth the $$$.

Between the opening act and Whitney, show was literally a few mins short of an hour. Whitney was funny but would not recommend ticket price, price of parking, drive into the city etc for 1 hour!

The wilbur is always great, but the show had very little new material. There was a bit of the material at the beggining, but she repeated 90% of the stuff from her other specials.

She's a natural; very funny, very quick banter with the audience, very comfortable. Very happy there was no political talk. I've seen her on TV a lot and wasn't sure I'd like her stand-up but was very happily surprised, she's great!

She was really funny with her 40min set. Didn t realize it was her book tour and she cut her set short to do a meet and greet and signed books.

I heard people complaining after the show bc her standup was only 30 minutes. It's a book tour, know what type of tickets you are buying. Plus she made up the time by meeting everyone and signing the books, that's why it was so short.

When I see a comic mess with the audience, that lets me know they don t have material. That was true with tonight s show. And the little material she had was not funny. Also the variety of topics were severely limited. I think all she talked about was dating and tinder and match.com. Also her set was very short. In the end I was glad though as her act was boring. I hate to say that as I do like her but this show was a wasted evening. Could be why the house was so empty. Maybe people got the word on her ahead of time. Disappointing.

I thought she was breaking for an intermission but really the show was over. One opening act. Overall, it lasted just about an hour. I paid $56. Not impressed with the price in comparison to the length of the show. She was funny but I couldn't have paid far less for another stand up comedy show. It was awesome though that she gave a free copy of her book. I thought the stand up material was going to be about something related to "I'm Fine... and other lies" but it wasn't at all.

What a great evening of laughter, however, the show was super short (15min openingact, 30-40 min of Whitney) Whitney could ve gone 30-40min longer and the audience would ve felt like they got their money s worth. Funny show though

I love Whitney Cummings but her performance was mediocre. It was a combination of old old material, a little new stuff, and filler. Watch her HBO specials, they re much better.

First of all, the show itself was great. The opening act was funny. Whitney then came on stage holding a stack of paper, which I assumed were notes, but she never referred to them. She was very funny, but the crowd seemed to be mostly existing fans so they would laugh at even her smallest jokes. She abruptly ended the show saying she needed to save time for book signing and pictures. They set up a table on stage, where she signed books (non-personalized) and took pictures using audience members' phones. Afterwards, people could then go to a "photo booth" machine for an additional picture to commemorate the event. However, I didn't like a staff member's passive aggressive attitude. I am not sure if this was a venue staff member or a Whitney staff member. After I met Whitney on stage, I went to the photo booth machine just like other fans and stood in a long line. Almost immediately, this staff person came up to me (and only me) and said something like "You can take a picture at this booth, but you don't have to. It's not required." Um, I think any fan would know that. So I stayed in line. Moments later, this staff came back to me and said something like "Can you move aside? You're in the background of other peoples' pictures". But the other people waiting in line were ALSO in the background of the pictures! This staff member had ONLY me walk out of line to stand on the other side, out of the camera's view. It felt so exclusionary. Nobody should have to feel singled out like this. I can't think of any good reason for that staff to do that. I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt, like many other fans who were there. Feeling singled out, I then just left without getting my photo booth pic. I hope even Whitney agrees that even if a show is otherwise 5 stars, a fan feeling like this should automatically reduce it to zero stars.

I've seen all her specials and YouTube clips. I love watching her and was so excited for the opportunity to see her in person! She did not disappoint!! She was hilarious and relatable. By the time she says goodnight, you'll be happy to have a copy of her book to go home with so the hilarity doesn't have to end. Be warned though, sitting in the front row is only asking to be involved in her show.

Not your typical book signing! Whitney performed some of her standup act and then got down to the business of signing books and taking pictures with her fans. She stayed until everyone who wanted their book signed or wanted to take a picture with her were taken care of. I highly recommend attending this event!

My husband and I went to her show last week. The theater was really nice, seats were comfortable. She put out a great show. She was sooo funny. The tickets included her new book and also to meet her and she would sign our books. What a treat, she is a very pretty woman, and so very nice. It was a fun evening. It is nice to have a comedian who takes the time to greet her fans personally, and even better to write a book and personally autograph and allow her fans to have pictures taken with her. I would definitely see her again.

I love Whitney Cummings! So much so that I've seen all of her stands-ups either online or on television, as well as her TV show and all the seasons of 2 Broke Girls. That's what made this show a bit sub-par: all of her material was recycled. Literally 90% of it was. Expect to see basically half of her HBO special in it, and the other half from a previous stand-up from Comedy Central. I spent the entire night looking to my significant other and whispering the punch line before she got to it. She was still hilarious though, and her timing is impeccable. Our tickets were $46 a piece, so I'm not too mad about it. We did get to meet her, and she made time to talk to everyone, and you get a free copy of her book. So, I think it was still money well spent to go see her, meet her, and get a signed book, even if you knew all of the jokes and anecdotes. On the other hand, I was disappointed with the way the venue/event was handled. Buckhead Theatre has two bars in their lobby, and they allowed guests to get up and leave their seats constantly throughout the opening act and through Whitney's act to get drinks. This is even more exaggerated because this is not auditorium/stadium style seated where you have certain row levels, which taper down to the main stage. This was basically a flat banquet hall where chairs were placed and could be therefore moved for concerts. So, when someone in front of you gets up to go get a drink (whether it's one row in front or five rows), you can no longer see the stage or the performer. This wouldn't have been such a big deal if people were constantly getting up to get drinks and in their own conversations when that happened. It disrupted a lot of the show, and even Whitney made comments about people getting up and down -- she joked at some of the front row people who were constantly getting up and down and picked on their clothes and backpacks. It still happened even up to the last minute. I was also a little disappointed in the show running time. Everything started on time, which is great because I know how hard it is to get everything together and do what you need to do, especially if you're moving venues every single night. But Whitney cut herself short, and even explained that she was doing that so she would have enough time to do the meet and greet and sign books at the end. While this is very personable, and I appreciate the thought, I did want to see more comedy from her. I mean, if you think about it, you're losing 10-20 minutes of comedy time to gain 30 seconds of a meet and greet for yourself. All in all, it was a good experience. If I had paid more money for tickets, I'd have been more upset. But you get what you pay for, and a decent comedy show, a meet and greet, and a free signed book for $46 was fine with me.

My girlfriend and I went to see her in St. Louis. The show started off with her talking about her personal life then it quickly went into guy bashing. It seems that Whitney is still very upset about the split because about 2/3 of the show was all guy bashing.

Went to see Whitney again. Even though she used a lot of material from her previous tour, she changed enough material and delivery methods to make the performance awesome. We showed up two hours early to get the front row seats (it was a small venue) and not only got front and center, but after her routine, she gave me her setlist!!! A present I will always cherish. Highly recommended comedian!
