Z100's Jingle Ball Viewing Party

Was totally disappointed. The screen broke down for 10 minutes and missed part of the show. The interviews with the performers took away from the concert. We were told Justin Beiber and Jason Mraz were going to come up and perform for us and never showed up.

Next best thing to the real thing. Show was amazing,performers sounded fantastics. The live feed did go out during One Direction so we missed a full song(: Everybody was so loud like they were a part of the MSG. Great option instead of buying from brokers/scalpers online at outragous prices. Hope they have this next year as I'd rather be here than worse seats in the house. Also, Fun came in(amazing),Bridget Mendler sang a song,Ed Sheeran and Jason Mraz sang live, New York duet, Hot Chelle Ray stopped by.They gave away 4 sets of tickets to MSG. Just plain FUN!

I went with my friend to this thinking it was the ACTUAL concert with everyone. I was disappointed hearing it wasn't the actual but still went and had a good time. The only bad part I HATED was when One Direction was on and it SHUT OFF because of "technical difficulties." I was upset at that completely! I did like Ed Sheeran & Jason Mraz's rap but I do wish he did more of his songs..The A Team..Lego house.. etc. Bridgit Mendler was very good and I did like her. For this year's jingle ball me and my friend decided we're going to the ACTUAL one this time because we do want to see everyone in PERSON and not on a TV. But yeah, I did have a good time..it could've been better though.

My daughter went to this show and was not thrilled. She said several songs from 1D were not shown and the same with Bieber and other acts. The djs talked too much instead of showing the whole concert live. What should happen is the concert should be a ticketless show so the kids can see the real thing and the scalpers couldn't buy all the tickets to sell at stupid prices. ALl concerts should be ticketless so people can actually buy a ticket to see what they wamt.

Kids were a bit upset, screen went out during 1d. Ed and jason were good. Thought there would be more to the show.

A smaller intimate setting to view the Jingle Ball. With the exception of the video screen going out during One Direction, everything else was great!

The line up was great. We had no trouble getting in with our tickets printed from our computer. Since this was the first time they had the Viewing Party, I was looking forward to it. Im sorry to say that One Direction was the first group on and the screens were not working for us. So we completely missed their performance which was very sad for us since we are fans. I know there was to be special guests but we didnt see any. There is plenty of room for improvement with this separate area for Jingle Ball.

The night was amazing!! I found my seats immediately and It was kinda better than the real thing because I got to see the artists up close. Sme people in the actual thing could barely even see a thing! I was singing along to all the songs and the dj put on great tunes! The special performances were great too! I would love to go back!

The jingle Ball viewing party was a disappointing experience. My kids have been looking forward to this event for weeks only to be let down. A couple of minutes into the show the screen went off! They missed the performance they were looking forward to most, One Direction! The screen continued to malfunction through out the night. We will not be going back next year.

This was my first time at jingle all and it was awesome. It was a great line up and JB was worth the wait since he was the last to perform. My family had a great time. Will sure to go again next year but will definitely eat before I go. There was no decent selection of food at the concession stand. Just hot dogs and hard pretzels. Horrible

Very disappointing, the music was muffled and was not loud enough the live feed went down during 1 direction. Was not worth it we should be refunded our money to say the least

in the very beginning, there was a glitch with the screen so we missed a whole entire song from One Direction!!!!! and like half of the next song. Everyone was really angry. the concert ended pretty late, but overall it was still ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. and we got to see ED SHEERAN LIVE. any seat was a good seat really

While there were aspects of the viewing party that were nice, overall we were very disappointed with how it was handled. Trey Morgan said in the beginning of the event that nearly every artist playing at the Jingle Ball texted him and asked if they could come down and say hi to the fans, which got my kids very excited! Here they were thinking maybe One Direction or Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift would come down to say hi and they were jumping out of their seats at the thought! Well, not only did no one except the band fun. (Who we love by the way, and good for them for stopping by!!) and Hot Chelle Rae stop by (of course, Ed Sheeran and Jason Mraz played which was stellar!), but the video went our during my kids' favorite band, One Direction, and in an event as big as this, honestly that should not have happened! And really, how difficult would it have been for a few of the artists to make their way downstairs and say hi to their fans, fans who paid $65 for a ticket?! I really felt what Trey Morgan said was very misleading and left a bad taste in many people's mouth. Having said that, overall it was a good time and the visual and audio system was awesome. And Bridgette Mendler was really sweet and my kids loved seeing her. how much do we love Nate Ruess?! Just wish there weren't false promises involved.

To see the Jingle Ball show Live in the smaller MSG theater below The Garden was a great idea. Started off great - but a glitz in the VIDEO Feed when first opening ONE DIRECTION (the main reason for going to the show and paying $50 a ticket) was playing so we missed them singing "Little Things." Everyone was BOOING. But they got it working again after about 5mins. or so. Too bad, but these things happen. SEATS should have been much CHEAPER. The one MAIN person they listed as live for us to see was Ed Sheeran. He only played one song and it was not even his song....Sheeran should have played one more song - seems like he ran down played one song w/Jason Mraz and then ran back upstairs. They did give out a few tickets for upgrades to the MSG that was fun for those winners. Next time maybe a few more GIVEAWAYS or one more BIG NAME to play - or reduce the cost of the tickets. Maybe raffle off an autograph or two from the entertainers upstairs?

My daughter and her friend went to the Jingle Ball Viewing and she said it was like watching it at home on your TV! Never again! Actually it would have been better watching it at home! The 2 people who were there didn't even sing one of their own songs. You would have thought that since it was in the same place as Jingle Ball that other artists might have at least stopped by to at least say hello....

AWESOME!!!!!!! the viewing party was actually the best deal around! Cant wait till next year! I loved the artists personal touch by coming in the viewing party! best concert ever!!!!

I was disappointed that Ed Sheeran only played 1 song that really wasn't his own. The advertisement made it sound that he would be appearing and playing more than one song. Also, the screen blacked out for about 2 songs while One Direction was on. Ed Sheeran and 1 D were the reasons I came. If I had known that Ed Sheeran was only playing one song, I probably wouldn't have bought tickets. It was nice that some bands came down to say hello.

Great time was had by all !! Great music, crowd, Z100 DJs and musical guests.

It was wonderful being part of the first ever viewing party with my 11 year old daughter. Music was wonderful, hosts were great and private performances were amazing! My daughter would have loved if 1D came out but we did not expect them to anyway. One hiccup wuth the video feed got some boos from the crown but I think the hosts handled it like such professionals! Would definitely skip the actual show for the viewing party again next year!!!

For starters, I am a huge One Direction fan and the video feed went out for half of their performance. This was a pretty bad way to start the night and I was really upset when i found out that I missed one of my favorite songs. The feed was out for all of Little Things and most of One Thing, so that was pretty upsetting. The Ed Sheeran/Jason Mraz duet was amazing but it should have been but somewhere that it didn't have to cut into the actual show. Same with Bridget Mendlers performance, we missed most of B.o.B singing Magic :( I would tell people to probably go to the real show because I dont think that the viewing party was worth 60 dollars when you could be in the actual venue for 50

Pretty good show. Didn't like that during 1D the video feed messed up & never got to see what went on then, but I guess that's what happens when it's live.

To be honest, I got a little disappointed with the concert. Not that it wasn't good, but I had no idea that I was going to watch a screen instead of the real concert. There was no clear description explaining that when I bought the tickets. So, I got pretty upset about this when I got there. The concert, overall, was very nice though. I absolutely loved the idea of getting many pop singers/bands to sing in one concert. And I got really excited when Bridgit Mendler, Ed Sheeran and Jason Mraz singed live for us. I just wished I could have watcged all of the performances that way.

The main reason we went to the Jingle Ball was to see One Direction. The TV broke during the part of the concert when One Direction was preforming. If they said One Direction was not a part of the concert we would not have bought the tickets.

Overall it was a great show. Really enjoyed the mixed line up. Very disappointed about the mess up with the video feed during One Direction. I was there with my 10 year daughter and her best friend. One Direction is the main reason we went. Had to promise my daughter that no matter how much it cost ( not cheap) I will do what ever I can to take her to see them for real. She was perfectly content with the viewing party and so was I for the price. Now...???

This was the first time a viewing party was held so there were some technical problems at the beginning which was upsetting. Once the problem was fixed the event was fun. Although it may not be the actual concert it was still really fun.

I couldn't have asked for a better (early) Christmas present than this. Not only was the lineup incredible, the crowd atmosphere added just as much energy. I have been wanting to go to this concert for 15 years, year after year not getting tickets. Thank god they added the Viewing Party (for those of us not so lucking on winning radio contests.) Best night of 2012!

We were promised upgrades all night, prizes, and artists singing. We did have Ed Sheeran and Jason Mraz, but it would have been nice if there had been another singer as a surprise ONE DIRECTION, for instance) since their performance was interrupted because of technical difficulty. There were only about 4 upgrades in 4 hours! that was pretty lame. Still waiting for the prizes... and what happened to Bridgit Mendler? She bailed on us as our host after she sang...guess it was more exciting in MSG. Some of the artists sang way too many songs, others only one! Overall we had a good time, probably wouldn't go next year unless we could get into the live show.

Awesome (especially for the price)...felt like we were really in the main theater! Fabulous line-up with 1D, Miss Swift and of course The Beibs stealing the show!!

The JIngle Ball viewing party was amazing. We felt like we were in MSG for the concert. I would highly recommend this event to all my friends and plan on going again next year as long as you are having the viewing party. The energy in the room was insane, and everyone was singing and dancing. Was an amazing night.

I attended the viewing party with my three children. We had such a great time. For me the price was one that I could afford for four tickets. A little tech. Issues cleared up fast and was great time for all. Hope to go next year....

It was pretty awesome being ale to watch for those of us who couldn't get tickets. Three complaints: 1; when the live video fed went out at the beginning when 1D was playing.....one of the only reasons my daughter wanted to go.....so they all missed a song and a half......that was not okay. 2; the z100 crew lead people to think that the "special surprise" guests would be bigger stars than who actually came out and that they were going to upgrade people's seats all night, when in fact, they upgraded about 4 people, and only 1 person each time....not sure what that was about??? 3; we knew that Ed Sheeran and Jason Mraz were going to be performing...just not together........overall it was a great event, just would have not been such a let down without all the "extra" hype....kids expected more and so did I.

it was a really cool experience and i was really happy that fun came down to visit. but i was really disappointed when the TV crashed for 5 minutes! especially when 1D was performing my favorite song! but for next years, all of the artists should come down to the theater to say hi.

I had a really great time at the viewing party! After the video feed problems in the first 10 minutes, I thought the show was going to be a mess but everything else went flawlessly. I specifically went to see Ed Sheeran, but was surprised at how much fun the other guests were. It was great to be able to see all the artists up cose. And, of course, I very much enjoyed Ed Sheeran & Jason Mraz's duet!!

One Direction was the reason I took my daughter. They performed first and we missed 2 and 1/2 songs they said because of "technical difficulty" you would think they would make up for it and and bring 1D over to say hi or something but nothing. Waste of money. Screen was small was like just watching them on Tv. Did not feel like we were there live at all. Total waste of time

I took my daughter primarily for 1 direction- we arrived early since they were opening act. 1/2 off the performance was screwed up b/c screen went green! I think they should Have made an effort to test equipment- being that we made sure we were on time!!!!

We went to the Jingle Ball Viewing Party specifically to see One Direction and Ed Sheeran.. We missed a couple of One Direction songs because the video feed broke down, which was my fear all along, so I will not participate in the viewing party again. The One Direction songs that we heard were SOO GREAT!! The other acts were really good. Ed Sheeran live was AWESOME. Really enjoyed his New York duet with Jason Mraz. Olly Murs great fun! I will choose to see my favorites live in the future. LOVE 1D!! LOVE ED!!

The artists were perfect! it was an amazing line-up! Madison Square Garden is a spectacular place!

This was a gift for my daughters 18th birthday, she had the best time ever!!! The pre- events were great also. She will never forget her18th birthday. Thank you so much

The show and setting was not what i expected when i entered the viewing party section of Z100's Jingle Ball. I expected some more live concerts and to see more artists. In the first act during One Direction's performance the system went down and we missed out on an entire song. Taylor swift was the worst performer of the night. I couldn't tell when she was signing during her act. We felt left out during the entire show... no cameraman recording us or getting us more involved in the show. But most of all i felt like i was watching a movie ... i might as well saved my money and view the concert from home. Please make it clear that people at the Viewing will only view the concert like in a movie theater nothing special about it. I had a really bad time... i do not, i repeat i do not recommend this to anyone next year! you should just invest into the actual Jingle Ball concert tickets.

I thought it was pretty good, it rocked and was the next best to being there. I thought it would have been more of a "party" such as balloons or streamers from the ceiling as they did call it a "viewing party" . The fact the the camera broke during 1D really sucked. I also felt that the only reason anyone came down was to take pictures by the z1000 billboard. Having 2 handicappeople behind my 5 seats was an issue as you could not stand. The girls were very uncomfortable with blocking the view so it was unfair to us and to them. I think if you iron out a few kinks & change a few things it will be a better and more desirable place to be.
