Tom Chaplin's performance was amazing at El Rey Theater. Loved the small venue. Didn't want the night to end and over a dozen old and new songs were performed - the perfect mix! The Wave didn't disappoint and brings back the nostalgia of why we fell in love with Tom and Keane over a decade ago. Long awaited release!!! Can't wait for the next album and tour.

Tom Chaplin was spot on when it comes to musical talent. His new attitude toward life shines through in his new album, The Wave. The Buckhead theatre was a great venue to showcase his talent.

Enjoyed myself immensely while listening to Tom Chaplin and his amazing voice. Loved that he sang a few Keane songs. Also enjoyed Tom talking about his personal life and his struggles. Of course, he also made a few jokes here and there, which was nice. The venue, itself, was fantastic. This was my first time at the El Rey. It was great. Much better than The Wiltern, which I had a few problems with. The room was spacious and and everyone working at the El Rey were incredibly nice. Sound was on point. Loved every second of the concert and definitely plan to go to the El Rey again in the near future. A+

This was a small venue - a side room at the House of Blues - which made it even better as we were only a few feet in front of this unbelievable singer! We love Keane and would like to see the whole band again, but Tom's band was great and he sounded perfect, talked to the crowd quite a bit and was just perfect. He mixed his own new music with Keane songs for a good balance. I even got him to sign my CD (his new cd, The Wave), which was a thrill! So, so happy we didn't miss this one!

The venue for his set was a perfect fit. Small and intimate. I actually like the Cambridge Room more than the larger HOB venue. The quality of the band and his brilliant vocal talent were almost flawless. Very pleased with his new solo songs and was really happy he played some Keane songs while keeping the main focus on his new songs. I really liked that there was no opening act and the show started on time.

An unbelievable show. Port City Music Hall has great acoustics, wasn't overly packed (did have preferred seating which was worth the $), decent table service-so the venue was very good. Tom Chaplin's voice is amazing and probably due in part to the size of the club and his outstanding range-truly an unforgettable show. He sang many of his new songs and of course all the Keane classics too. His musicians were outstanding-all but the drummer shifting between keyboards, guitars, violins and back up vocals-they are super talented. It's unlikely Tom will play again in Portland in a club this size, but we can hope. It was a very personal show and he talked to everyone and shared his journey through a rough patch to come out as a shining star. Literally one of the best shows because of it's size, intimacy and amazing musical talent. Thanks Tom!

Tom Chaplin sang with all of his heart and soul! He sounded AMAZING live and looked very healthy. His interaction with the audience was warm and genuine. I had tried so hard to see Keane for many years, so I jumped at the chance to see Tom when his tour was announced. He sang many of their songs, as well as many of his own, which are equally good (if not better). The concert exceeded my expectations, and I hope he keeps his promise to return to ATL.

Just beautiful - Tom Chaplin's voice and songs are beautiful - just amazing live. His band members are incredibly talented also. Every song was performed to perfection. He played most of the songs from his new album - The Wave and even a few Keane songs including my absolute favorite - Everybody's Changing.

Far exceeded my expectations! Tom played a great mix of his new solo album and Keane songs. He was so humble and appreciative of the support from the crowd. He talked openly about battling addiction and told the stories behind many of his songs that deal with it. He has one of the greatest voices in pop/rock music -- it's a shame he's not more widely known. Here's hoping Keane gets back together and tours so we can see him again soon!
