Song Zuying

I am first time at Hollywood Ball and totally worth to drive 6 hrs from SF. The concert is amazing specially Rueibin Chen. All the performers are great. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much.

What a great show (and fireworks) by Leehom and Ruebin! I only wish Leehom performed more of his songs...

All the performers were wonderful. The acrobats & fireworks were a lovely surprise!

Wonderful and excellence performance. I really recommend that has a Chinese event in the Hollywood bowl every year.

Yellow River was beautifully played by Rubein Chan. I love the duet sung by Song zuying and Wang Leehom.

Price range is fair. Sings are nice. Fans are friendly. I like to see more event come to LA. I will definitely go for a good one next time.

This was an absolutely incredible night. All of the performers were amazing! Especially Leehom Wang! What an incredible talent!!

Agree Leehom should sing more songs...It was loud and clear from the audience that they were here to see Leehom. No encore - that was disappointing. We waited for a long time, hoping Leehom would come out one more time but he didn't...

It was a great taste of China that I missed so much. Loved the combined work of the orchestra and the singers. Leehom was as great as always! His songs have a deep traditional Chinese cultural meaning and music touches my heart. Zuying's performance is beyond phenomenon. I listened to her songs growing up, but the live performance still amazed me. Enjoyed every bit of it. The firework added greater pleasure to the whole show. I'm so glad I was able to attend such a memorable event.

I was not familiar with any of the guests or the emcee and I was blown away. Song Zuying, the queen of Chinese folk music, dressed in a museum-worthy costume, sang as beautifully as any opera star I have heard at the Dorothy Chandler. When she sang the goodbye song, the audience was moved to tears. Wang Leehom, the king of Chinese pop, was introduced as an actor, singer, director and accomplished musician of both western and eastern instruments: truly multi-talented. Wonderful voice and presence - very charming and authentic. He seems to be a bit of a sex symbol. The conductor, Perry So, was extremely personable and the chorus was lovely. A great evening. I just wish someone had translated what Song Zuying was saying into English. We thought we were going to get the fireworks experience that we missed out on the 4th, but we got a few hours in China.

Great variety and blend of show elements and performances. 2 hours was not enough. Wong Leehom's performance was toooo short!

Overall, it was great to see some of the most famous Chinese singer/performer on stage of Hollywood Bowl and they did a fantastic job performing in front of such a big crowd. However, there are some minor improvement that could be addressed for the next performance: First, the half time break took more than 30 minutes, which is unheard of. We found ourselves wondering what is going on behind the stage and wanted to get answers but there is no one addressing us on the unusual long break. Second, the acrobat performance by Hebei Acrobat Group was not well rehearsed with one accidents after another. Hopefully they could get their acts together next time. Finally, the audience was not the best among the other performance I have seen in this venue. They kept shouting and making random noises; some of them even was talking in normal volume while the performance was in session. I hope they would be more considerate next time if there is such event again.

It was very disappointing. No doubt a majority of the crowd was there for Wang Lee Hom, as evidenced by the heightened enthusiasm and loud cheers whenever he appeared on stage. Yet he only sang 3 solo songs...the fans deserve much better than that. No disrespect to the other 2 attractions. They were great too, but we all know who the main attraction was.

A totally enjoyable first-class performance. Suitable for the entire family and Chinese and non-Chinese alike. A great way to celebrate the independence of our nation, whether it's your adopted motherland or not.

Concert was good because it featured Wang Lee Hom. The advertising could've been better because I only found out through facebook. There didn't seem to many other online ads for it. That being said, it seemed like the event was pretty sold out. Mainly, I went for Wang Lee Hom, but the other performers were also good.

This was a wonderful experience. I hope there is more such event in the future. Then my families and friends can join together to enjoy it in the holloywood bowl.

Loved each and every part of the program: the dragon, acrobats, special performances from each spectacular guests, conductor and the Philharmonic and beautiful fireworks! We had great seats and it was near the big screen. We're learning Mandarin so we were able to understand a few words but didn't realize how marvelous this was going to be! Just thrilled and honored to be there! We hope to see it again next year!

The singers were amazing & fireworks after the 4th was a nice treat! The colors was truly a beautiful sight. This was a treat for my Mom. This was her first time at the Hollywood Bowl. I want her to enjoy her 1st experience her & this show DID IT! Score!

Fireworks, chinese pop star, lion dancers, the night had it all.

Wonderful time! There was something for everyone in the family.: classical music, folk songs, acrobats, and who is this Wang Leehom? My elderly anglo neighbor enjoyed this event too!

I went mainly for my dad. But it was much better than expected. I would go again with my family next year.

The voice of Song ZuYing was amazing and beautiful. However, the audience around us kept talking, despite us trying to hush them. The ushers should've asked them to be quiet but did nothing instead.

This show was terrific. I have always been a fan of Song Zuying and it was my first opportunity to see her perform. She was terrific.

I have watched Song Zuying's performance from video for many times. However, it is the most amazing for you in Radio City to enjoy her songs. The combination of her marvelous performance with fantastic Radio City music hall has made the whole event unforgettable!

Nice venue, nice show. Song was amazing and so was the orchestra and the chorale singers.

Excellent and then some. A great show that should be seen by all cultures.
