No screens. Sat in one of the back sections, so I had some trouble seeing the band on stage. So it was basically a light show with music for me.

Queens came through last night. They sounded hard and heavy. They really put on a great show, Josh kept on thanking the audience and that he was glad to be back with the band. He said it had been too long.

I've been friends with both bands for years. Last night was on top of the awesome list!!They burned the house down. Queens started with " Misfit Love " because as Josh put it " We had to let people know that we still have it" celebrity sightings were plentiful....John McEnroe, Brad Wilk, The Broken Lizard guys, .....What a night. Amazing show doesn't begin to describe it. Love!!!

The show was incredible! It's been a few years since I've been to Club Nokia. Sound was stellar. QOTSA absolutely annhilated the place! From the vicious opening with "Misfit Love" all the way through the encore, an astounding show. Queens bring it every time. I wish I had as much swagger as Josh Homme.

I haven't seen EoDM or QotSA in nearly 10years, so I jumped at the chance to see them this time. EoDM opened with such ferocity, it was amazing, my husband wasn't familiar with them but he was blown away by the whole show. The QotSA show gave me chills! My favorite band played for I think over 2 hours!!! The bands played so many wonderful songs from various albums, I was ecstatic. It was difficult to hear Josh's voice though, I've been to loud concerts before and this is my first experience with this. Regardless, if I have the funds, I will always make time for QOTSA!

Loved it- they are tight- only complaint was a blown speaker or similar sound issue on right side of stage that was so distorted it would drown out the vocals and drums....

What a set! Josh and Co. put on a spectacular show. A nice mix of new songs with some classics from each album (I'd have enjoyed a few more from Lullabies, personally!). They nailed Mexicola, Millionaire, No One Knows, Go with the Flow AND A Song for the Dead (killer finishing encore song). We had front row GA so we were right up next to the stage. The crowd was into every song and we danced the night away. Looking forward to another Northeast leg at some point. If you have a chance to see these guys live do NOT pass it up!

Imagine standing in front of a heavyweight boxer and having him punch you in the face, which in turn has you somersaulting backwards to the canvas. You simply dust yourself off, stand right back up in front of him and say, "Thank you sir, may I have another?" Seeing QOSA and Royal Blood was the musical equivalent of getting punched about 25 or 30 times! Both bands absolutely crushed it. Go see this show in your town!

Admittedly, I went into the evening more excited about seeing Royal Blood again than Queens of The Stone Age... That being said, both bands performed about the same... If you haven't seen or heard RB, they will definitely impress you... they pack a lot of punch for a bassist and drummer... however they were a bit slow in their tempo compared to the show i saw them at a couple of months ago at the newport... Onto Queens.. They really did rock. I was definitely surprised when they lead with Go With Flow and The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret.....I immediately thought "Well.... No One Knows will have to be the finale"...sure enough 15 minutes later they played that!!! A fair amount of people started exiting the show at that point.. but I had heard enough from their albums to know I'd enjoy the set...and i did.. they brought the rock with them, and i salute them for it..... Now.... the BUT.... Holy crap the mixing for Queens was just atrocious... it felt like i was getting bombarded with a flat wall of sound, it was pretty much impossible to distinguish the different guitar sounds (between the singer, the second guitarist, and the guy switching back and forth keyboard and guitar)..and Josh Homme's vocals only made brief appearances through out the show.... this was my first concert at this venue..so it very much could've been the engineering of the venue itself (a small outdoor amphitheater, back wall probably needs to be about 5 feet higher...) So there ya go... if you can catch this show at a club like setting (Newport) or something similar... This show was probably be a 5... but if you go to a bleh venue.. it drops down to a 3... (just be sure you're REALLY a fan of Queens entire discography... they mix it up!)

Queens deliver the goods, every time. Josh was in good spirits, smiled a lot, and the band was smoking hot. They are always tight and the sound was great. The opening act was weak but no big deal. This was my third time seeing QOTSA. First was at the Sunset Station. That was a great show because it was all of the original members and it was standing room only so i was free to move as I pleased. Second was last year at ACL. They sounded good but it was way too packed, raining and since I wear glasses made it difficult to see them. The latest time was at the famous Majestic Theatre! My seats were great and the venue speaks for itself. Josh's new musicians are great and they sounded better than ever. The music was mixed perfectly and the production was awesome!!! The crowd was into the show & the band was into the crowd. Easily my favorite show I've been to at the Majestic. They are a must see band

+ Entertaining + Lights and video weren't bad + Getting to see QOTSA live in person + Water fountains - Length - Price - Crowd - Concession cost It was awesome to finally see the band live, I own a couple of their live dvds but it was cool to be there. There visuals were pretty good, but, after having seen NIN, it's kind of hard not to judge other bands by that standard. This might seem silly, but the fact there was free water at fountains you could have is kind of a big deal at shows, especially if the concessions are expensive. Out of my complaints, the only one that I see as being the band's fault was the brevity of the show, the opening act wasn't done until 9:30 or something and the whole show was over before 11:00. By far the briefest show I've been to. Which brings me to my second point, that for $60, I was expecting more, they should have played longer. The most comparable show I've been to was NIN in Greenville (which was fantastic both times I've been!) That show cost about the same, had much more impressive visuals, and seemed to last considerably longer. What really irked me though, throughout the show, was the crowd. There were a number of people really into it and that was great, but equally so I saw people who didn't seem to have any interest in the show, who apparently just stumbled in and then decided to stay but weren't happy about it. Kind of a downer. Maybe that's just because it was in downtown Columbia, who knows. Normally I am a front row sort of guy but I dunno if it was the crowd or what but I just wasn't feeling it this time. Lastly, charging $12 for beer is pretty ridiculous.

This is the second time my son and I haves seen Queens of the Stone Age while they are supporting ....Like Clockwork. The first time was in Charlotte and it was a great show. This time we drove to Columbia and they gave another killer performance. There was a good variety on their setlist from their albums as well. Well worth the hour and a half drive for a great concert. The Township Auditorium venue was nice as well, clean with friendly and curteous staff. Very easy to navigate in and out of the towntown area. Although there was no designated parking for Township Auditorium there was very affordable parking at a local business within eye sight of the front entrance. I'd go see Queens again anytime and would also recommend Township Auditorium as well.

Chelsea Wolfe gave me peace I never thought I would come by in this world. After seeing Chelsea in Nashville, TN on Tuesday, January 28th, I just had to come see her again in Columbia, SC. The eight-hour drive was the most rewarding experience. That afternoon before the Columbia show, a clan of butterflies were having a pep rally in my belly. Anxiety DESTROYED me. At any moment roses and thank you's would come out; I wondered if I would run away in tears from the entire state of South Carolina due to rejection hours before the show even started. Thankfully this was not the case. It was such an honor for me to see Chelsea twice in one week, and I encourage everyone to check her out.

By far, Queens of the Stone age has the Best Rock Performance nowadays. Their shows don't have modern visual effects, but that doesn't matter because the guys have energy and execute their songs much better than the album versions, that are already awesome. Small venue at the Fox theater in Pomona. Huge internationally known bands in small venues always seems to be way better. Ah yes! Had mezzanine seats for night #1... floor seats for night #2 AND made it into the PIT! Although Queens are always great I felt like another reviewer that they cut the encore(s) short on night #1. I also felt that the crowd in the pit for night #1, though I wasn't in it that day, seemed more energetic than the folks on night #2. Both the short encore(s) and low crowd energy were a non-issue as Queens finished off this U.S. tour with monster encores and I experienced moshing at a Queens show for the first time! I read or heard somewhere that Josh Homme doesn't like moshing at shows but when you play A Song for the Dead like they did it just can not be helped! (Forgot to add in my night #1 review that a BIG highlight was hearing Someone's in the Wolf)

QOTSA puts on the best show! Rock and roll for young and old alike. I'm such a proud mom that it was my 17 year old son's first show! The worst part was that it ended.

The show in Austin at the 360 amphitheater was unreal. As a big fan, they totally surpassed all expectations. WOW, what energy, and showmanship. Large scale rock acts that deliver the goods like them are few and far between these days. Wish I could relive it again.

Josh could not have had it more wrong when he said Austin was a town of individuals. Austin is full of liberal sheep, Intolerant of anyone that doesn t agree with the leftist agenda.

First time out to the Circuit of the Americas. They really have a solid setup! Plus, they handled all the parking/in-and-out traffic perfectly. Queens of the Stone Age played a perfectly crafted set that showcased just how great these guys are.

I've been a fan of QOTSA since 2002, For one reason or the other I've missed seeing the band in concert, After 16 years I finally got to see them at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas (general admission, floor seats) Royal Blood opened for QOTSA and I've never heard of them, their performance was great, they had everyone pumped. The Chelsea (the venue) is on the 3rd floor, we were all jumping and dancing and the floor literally was moving !! QOTSA started with If I had a Tail and Josh Homme was incredible, He is a beast on the guitar and his sexy dance moves had everyone excited. The set was perfect, they played new music from Villains but also included music from like clockwork, era vulgaris, songs for the deaf and rated R. The venue is a smaller place, there were maybe 2500 people there and it felt like a very intimate concert. I will definitely see them again, They are incredible musicians and obviously they love what they do, This is a night that I'll never forget.

Both QOTSA and EoDM were great. Sound was muddy and too loud. One would think the city of SF would be able to figure out a sound system, but no. I would go to see this show again if it was in another location.

They're set list was great, and their songs from their latest album sounded good. But throughout most of the concert the speakers sounded awful. It took a lot of the enjoyment out of the experience. I love their music, but I felt QOTSA seemed like they were ready to move on to their next concert.

The sound was off in the venue, was a better sound out on the concourse. Fight and drunk people made for a bad combination. Queens of the Stone Age, would go see again at a different venue maybe

Queens was terrific. The sound guy was terrible. Just a way too loud wall of mud.

From the moment QOTSA came onstage, the crowd was bouncing. Bouncing so hard that the floor was bouncing. No really, it s on the third floor and it bounced. They played sexy hit after hit and with everyone pressed together and the rhythmic bounce of the crowd it was super hot. We danced our asses off for a solid 2+ hours! It was our second QOTSA show and it won t be the last. The only negative: we missed Royal Blood due to the slow moving line to get in. They funneled everyone through two metal detectors. Overall it was a fantastic night!

The Forum has really improved in recent years. It is a grand and classy place to hang out and see a concert. The sound and the light show was amazing. Queens of the Stone Age delivered a great performance, as always.

Seriously. There was something magical happening at The Forum that night. The staff was SO friendly. The other patrons were polite and happy to be there (no overly drunk fools jacking everything up for the rest of us). And the BAND! Good God the band!!! They were on FIRE! Even the opening band Royal Blood was AMAZING! I'd like to go to that exact show in an alternate universe again!
