Meg Myers

MEG MYERS IN CONCERT:Meg Myers is one passionate performer, and audiences can't help but feel what she's feeling at her emotionally charged live shows. The intensity in her recorded work is superbly amplified when she performs, resulting in a wildly satisfying concert experience for lucky ticket buyers. Her catalog is filled with gritty tunes about sex and heartbreak, from the yearning angst of "Desire" and the scream-filled aggression of "Head Head Heart" to the soft intimacy of "Morning After". Onstage Myers expertly communicates a huge range of emotions, delivering her songs with a raw voice that's wickedly fierce one minute and heart-wrenchingly vulnerable the next.

After IRONTOM, Meg ensured the crowd was bored to tears before AWOL came on. Set list was entirely too long and all songs are exactly the same. Unoriginal on all accounts.

Meg Myers is a relatively new artist, so there was plenty of room to enjoy the concert. The concert itself was incredible, only occasionally interrupted by a band from another section of the venue.

I absolutely loved seeing her live. All of the emotion she brings in her songs she brought to the concert.

Songs are emotionally charged and Meg really gets into her performance. Don't expect her to interact with the crowd much.

Great stage presence and she is an incredible screamer, be careful screaming meg in three years your throat will hurt, trust this it happened to me in Small Town Junkies. Use tea called throat coat, super good. Also, don't get bogged down or depressed by playing so many concerts. I really enjoyed the show every minute of it, would have liked more dialogue with the crowd! Either way I loved it and understand.

Meg was excellent. Her stage presence, intensity, and voice were all on-point!! She played several new songs, and totally smashed her more well-known singles with awesome delivery.

It is a shame Meg did not hit the scene in 1991 living in Seattle. She would have been ENORMOUS. How about Meg Myers opening for Soundgarden with her singing a duet with Cornell at the end the show. Meg could end her set with "Desire" and Chris could open his with "Burden in My Hand". Their song writing is very similar and they both can belt out the anger in their voices. I was AMAZED by her show in Rochester. She is so intense and her performance is so theatrical. You cant take your eyes of her performance. She has a great voice to boot. I have not seen this kind of performance since Alanis in 1995. I would love to hear her do a cover of "You Oughta Know". If this generation can fall back in love with Rock music, her career with explode soon.

I have seen Meg twice. Once at a festival and then about 2 months later on this tour. She had a different show for this tour (it's different than the one on youtube). Lots of new songs from her new album coming out. She played guitar more at this show too, which was great. It was great to see her in a small venue. She was great at the festival, but even better at a small setting. She interacted well with the crowd, and of course her singing was great. She's one of the few artists that sounds a lot better live than on the radio. She also brought a ton of energy to the performance. If you are undecided, you need to go see Meg while she's still playing at these smaller venues. I guessing next time she comes to town, it will be a bigger venue as she sold out pretty quickly for a new artist.

Meg Myers was great! She could have played longer. There was a lot of waiting in between bands, more than other concerts I have been to.
