I grew up listening to David Draiman sing in Disturbed. They were my first rock band and I am a big fan. Imagine how unhappy I was to hear that Disturbed was going on hiatus. Then I hear a new band is out called DEVICE. I gave it a shot and love it. I have never been to a concert, I saw this only to be the most appropriate band to start my concert career. I can't wait to go to my next one. David was very personable and made it great. Great energy on stage with Gemini as well. Congrats David on being a father.

I had my doubts about the show. The album, while good, was very similar to Disturbed's ASYLUM album. Live, they are a whole different bag. Draiman exhibited more energy than I have seen from him in years. And what a class act, making a point of shaking hands with fans and especially children who were upfront. I will definitely go again to see them!

It was nice to see this show in a smaller venue like HOB. The sound was good and the performance was great. I was actually glad the event was not overcrowded so it was much more enjoyable. I still would have expected more David Dramian fans to have been there considering how popular Disturbed is.

It was an amazing show! Gemini Syndrome opened for them and they are an awesome up and coming band. Device is amazing. David sounds amazing live. It was awesome having it in a small venue to feel more intimate. It was a really good, amazing show! And I would love to see them again when they come back!

I expected a kick-a$$ show, and I got that and then some! Sad fact: I have never been to a legit rock concert before this. I'm glad that wait is finally over. First, Gemini Syndrome came on stage. Nothing like an opening act that not only didn't suck, but really surpassed my expectations, especially the lead singer. The other two acts that were supposed to play before Device were Beware the Darkness and a local band called Screaming for Silence. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait for Device that long. The two other fillers didn't even show and the Device crew set up right away. Then suddenly, David Draiman walks in with an escort right between me and my three other friends I came with. That was the most surreal experience of the entire night! (I didn't realize he was pretty short - and I'm only 5' 9''!) Needless to say, the Device set blew me away! All three band members (David, Virus, and the Drummer) were totally on their A game. During their cover of "Close My Eyes" David sang the male and female vocal parts in perfect pitch! I know he ruggedly trains his voice - but that was pretty damn impressive since he himself even hoped he wouldn't blow out his pipes! Virus was havin' his bada$$ self a blast on the guitar, especially with six Diamond speaker cabinets in back of him. I've played guitar for 13 years and have seen and tested tons of gear. I hope those cabs were just for show cuz those cabinets each contain four 60-watt 12" speakers. That would make a combined total of 1440 watts behind him. Hopefully, Virus has eardrums of steel to compliment his guitar wizardry. The show ended with another cover, Nine Inch Nails' "Wish"! Little known fact: Disturbed's music was partially inspired by NIN. This cover is available on the Deluxe Edition of their debut album, and they kicked a$$ covering NIN. The show was a totally seminal experience for my first rock concert. I enjoyed every bit of it and would recommend the experience to anybody. It was unfortunately the last show of the first leg of the tour, but don't pass up the others. You will regret it if you do.

The whole show was amazing. The fact that it was only Gemini Syndrome and Device made it even better, you got exactly what you wanted. Sadly, Device didn't stay to sign stuff but GS did and they were friendly and cool people. I've gone to a lot of concerts and this one is definitely one of my favorites. If Device would have stayed after the show I would have given it 5 stars... The show was perfect though.

All three bands were awesome, but I loved Device simply because I'm a huge fan of David Draiman who is the lead singer for another band I love, Disturbed, and the lead singer of Gemini Syndrome rocked it biblical, I mean the guy had a full Moses thing going on.

Gemini Syndrome was a solid opening act, setting the tone early. Nonpoint guitarists were way too loud, deafening. Device came out with lots of energy and a great stage presence. Loved their whole set! Afterwards I got a picture with Draiman and he signed my album. Great night!

It was amazing to get to experience one of the first performances by Device in such an intimate setting. This was the 2nd time seeing Gemini Syndrome, they were great both times. David stopped the show to inform everybody fighting or improper behavior towards women would not be tolerated. He showed how much he cares about the fans. Arena shows are great but I love the smaller venues.

All three bands were incredible and very cool. They all came down and hung out with everybody signing autographs and being very cool. This is actually the first time I not only remembered the bands that were playing (besides the headliner) but also got to shake hands and got to know them. I also and now a huge fan of the opening act Gemini Syndrome these guys Rocked! Nonpoint and Device were also super awesome and Device was so incredible you could feel every note being played and every lyric sung coursed through your body, very intense! I cannot say enough good things about these bands who truly showed me a good time and were humble with a down to earth attitude. Go see them!

Highly recommend all metal fans see Device live. The band was awesome and put on a great show. They were very in-touch with the fans and the live music quality was perfect. David Draiman interacted with the crowd and kept us pumped.

David sounded great and Device sounded just as good live as on there album. I had pre ordered it and have been listening to everyday since. Incredible to see David and Device at the Culture Room. One of my favorite places to see shows. I'm lucky I happen to look to see what shows were coming to town the week before.
