Storytime Live was great. My (almost) 4 year old was beside herself watching the show. The stories were familiar and characters very recognizable. There were plenty of opportunities for the kids to stand up and participate in the show from their seats. Very engaging and the length of the program was perfect. I would recommend this show for toddlers at least 2 years old and up.

This was an amazing event. I took my 2-1/2 yr old daughter and she loved it! She can't sit still for anything. When Moose and Z came on the stage she stopped dead in her tracks and just stared. She laughed, screamed (in a good way) participated with the chacters songs and questions and had a fabulous time! I was so glad that we took her. The costumes were wonderful, the back drops were spectacular. It was a great time.

The show was average. Sound quality was poor. Lighting was ok. Need to spend more time thinking about the plots and get kids more engaged just like the TV versions. My daughter wanted to take a picture with Dora, but the characters don't stick around for pictures!

VERY Dissapointed in the show! We have taken our children to see many shows: Sesame Street Live, Care Bears Live, Elmo's World, etc. and they were all better than this. Although the story line was nice, the costumes WERE NOT realistic enough for young children to grasp who the characters were at times.

Was a good show. Well performed. I did noticed a lot of the children got restless got restless during the Wonder Pets performance. My daughter had a blast and I do not think one child or parent left disappointed. Well worth taking your child to.

I took my three boys, aged 6 and under, to this event. It was easy to find and parking was plentiful. This was very entertaining for them and they all have been talking about it ever since! I recommend this for your little preschoolers, they will have a blast. The only thing I would have liked is an opportunity to meet and take pictures with the characters. Or at least a Storytime Live wall hanging to take pictures in front of.

This event was awesome! My son is a fan of all of the shows and he had a blast!!!
My daughter is 2 and was absolutely mesmorized by the show. Her favorite of course was Dora but I would have to say that mine was the WP with the Alice in Wonderland theme. Very Creative!!!! We took our 6 yr old along too and he even enjoyed it.
My grand-daughters totally enjoyed the performance ... wished the performers were louder ... lots of noise in the theatre with all the kids and much of the dialog was lost ... Wonder Pets segment was a little dark, not fun, hard to follow.
When my husband and daughter attended the story time show in Toledo we all enjoyed it! My daughter was so excited to see all her friends on stage that she sees on tv. I really enjoyed the show myself and will attend more shows in the future!
i think it would have been better if only one story was done instead of so many..it made it hard for the little ones to follow...if you want to include all the characters, write one story featuring all of them...i was very disappointed in the theater..they allowed the sale of beer and alcohol at a children's event...this will make me rethink attending events at that facility
We have a 21 month old daughter and she was clapping and dancing throughout the performance. Her eyes never left the stage, as she was probably thinking; "I usually see them on tv, why are they so close?" It was great.
The show was ok. We really enjoyed it last year when it was just Dora. I thought there were too many storylines this year, and it was kind of hard to understand what was being talked about. Also, last year we had the opportunity to take pictures with posters of Dora and this year there wasn't anything like that, so we were kind of bummed about that as well. Overall, last year was way better, but we still had fun this year.
I took my 3.5 year old daughter to see the show and she was very excited to see her favorite characters live on stage. I would definitely recommend to my friends to see the show. It was worth the wait (I purchased tickets in Feb 2010) and the tickets for up close seats were reasonably priced. She loves her Dora watch and purple storytime live t-shirt.
We had such a great time! Our 2 year old little girl loved it and so did we! The characters were so real, the sets were very creative and we love singing along to all of the songs. We will definitely go again if you come back!
I took my 2.5 year old son, my best friend, her daughter, my sister, and my niece to see this show.. I definitely recommend it if you have little ones who love Nick JR like my son does! We will definitely go to a show like this again!
The kids loved it! It was absolutely great! Even my 4 month old was glued to the stage. The grand tier seating was great, next time I will try the balcony. Great Family Fun!!

the show was ok my daughter is 2.5 years old and knows all the characters. I new that the show had Most characters played by live actors and actresses. as well Some characters will be in forms of puppetry and in costumes with their faces visable but"" i didn't expect my daughter to turn to me and say ""mommy thay have costumes on and thats a puppet""then to find out i cant take pictures before or after the show!!!!! and as a mom i promised her she would meet dora witch also didn't happen the only part of the show that she really absolutely loved so no i would not recommend this storytime live to a friend but i will say if there is a dora show then that is something i will pay $120 for ......

Prices for everything are ridiculous. The show is adorable, they encourage the children to participate in the stories. The actual venue might have been a bit too big for a children's show. We sat in ORCH seating Row V. Nonetheless the show was amazing and kept my 2 1/2 yr old son very very happy throughout the day!! Parents I do recommend that if you plan on buying souvenirs make sure you have enough money, the light wand alone was !20!! There might also be vender's right outside the venue selling toys and stuff for as little as $5!!

First part was about 40 minutes, then a 15 minute break, and then, another 25 to 30 minutes more...Moussini, the mousse, narrated very friendly the adventure...First Kai-lan and friends sang and danced...The background changed several times with awsome special effects...I loved it!!! Then, the backyardigans, the Wonder Pets, and then...Dora, the Explorer...Everything was beautiful, but I think the publics favorite was Dora...The evit witch cast a spell on Boots and only a true princess hug could break the spell. So, Dora had to accomplish three things to become a true princess, in order to rescue Boots... Map was very helpful all the way... My 4 yr. old and my 2 yr old were very happy...singing along and dancing...They helped Dora become a true princess...I have to say that I too was singing and dancing...lol

Viv and I sang along and she danced! The stories kept her attention and the intermission was timed well. Obviously, they know their clientele. Great night out!

This is my 4th Nick show with my grandkids. It is always a great time with quality performances and a lot of interactive fun. I was disappointed with the souvenirs this time though. I always promise 1 souvenir (even tho they're expensive) from the show and usually there's some fun stuff and some cute shirts to buy but this time I had to buy something mediocre and still pay a lot of money. And the sgirts were really ugly. It's a part of the experience so make sure that the vendor is doing their part. It would also be pretty cool if one or two of the characters would come out after the show and take pictures w/the kids...

Other than the wonder pets my son was completely bored. The plots were a little hard to grasp, and Dora and Kai Lan were grown women. My son was looking at me like who is that? The entire show needs a overhaul from top to bottom. Not too mention the souvenir prices were high. I'm nitpicking now, but you get the gist.

This show was ok, my 3 year old liked it ...she loves Dora! One thing I didn't like was how Boots was way bigger than normal. Boots was taller than Dora! Not very realistic .... Also, Dora didn't really look like Dora. It was an actual person dressed up as Dora. It should have been an actual costume, where someone gets inside and it actually looks like Dora.

We were really disappointed with the storytime live. After seeing a few of the Disney live shows, we were expecting a much better show. It was almost like they just threw something together and put the Nickelodeon name on it. The worst was the WonderPets, which had people walking around behind the characters. Our 5 year old asked why people were standing on Ming-Ming, and even our 3 year old was doubting that they were 'real'. At least they could try to make it look believable for a young kid. BTW - we would upload an image, but the attendants would harass you if you even brought out a camera. Probably because they didn't want pictures of how cheap and poorly done the show actually is to start floating around on the internet.

My 6 yr old daughter and I enjoyed every minute of our afternoon - from finding our seats and playing I Spy with the stage decorations before it started to every show, every song, even running in the pouring rain back to our minivan afterwards! All the cast did a fantastic job, costumes were great, characters looked "real" to my daughter, length of time was perfect - very enjoyable show! I've been to Sesame Street Live, Bob the Builder, the Wiggles Live show, and Go Diego Go! but this one was my favorite! My daughter loved it and wants to go again!

The wonder pets I saw in the Storytime Live was kinda weird looking with the actors moving the costumes with their hands and standing in back of them it was hard focusing on the wonder pet. It was an interesting way of performing in the costume I have never seen it done that way before didn't really like it.

My 2 year old had a wonderful time! It kept his attention the entire show and he talked about it for the rest of the day. There are not many shows like this and was excited to take him. Kids were dancing in the aisles! The only bad part was that we weren't allowed to take pictures of the characters nor my family. However, I did get 8 pictures in before being told to stop...haha. But my son was having such a great time, I wanted to capture the moment! As far as souveniers, they were overpriced (expected) but there wasn't much to choose from. The costumes were detailed and the sets were colorful! There was a 15min intermission.

I am a proud aunt of a neice and nephew who gave my sister a break by taking the kids to this show. My sister said the kids were so excited that they refused to eat dinner in fear of missing the show! As a member of CAPA, I was able to get an advance on the sale of the tickets which resulted in the best seats! My neice and nephew were too excited for the show to begin and enjoyed it the whole way through. I must admit that I enjoyed myself too. I will continue to keep an eye out for events like this, it's worth it. Time with family is precious to me and I advise us all to take these small moments because they do mean a lot.

My 3 year old son and I attended the show in Birmingham, AL. He absolutley Loved it. Couldn't have been better! From the opening of Moose and Zee with her "Twink Twink" to the finish of the whole cast "Shouting" together. I can't wait to see what Nickelodeon has in store for the future. I know that adults can pick out things from the show that could have been better but from the eyes of a child it was like being in the cartoon you see everyday. We saw the show in Bangor Maine on Mothers Day. We paid a lot to go and I was very disappointed. My 3yr old wasn't very excited about the show compared to other shows we have attended recently and he is ecstatic about the backyardigans and wonder pets. He wanted to know why there were real people behind the wonder pet characters. We recently saw Elmo Live also in Bangor and he doesn't even like seasme street yet he loved the show and was much more interested and excited about it still today talking about it. The characters were costumed very well & they involved the children in singing and dancing very well compared to Nickelodeons showtime Live. I wouldn't buy or suggest anyone waste their money on this show it was so poorly set up.

Dora was the best. The backyardigans did a good job as weel. I do recommend replacing the wonder pets with Handy Manny or Spongebob. The costumes looked cheap. The kids didn't really react to them as well as they did the other acts. Tailan did a good job too. I think they should allow cameras...just not video cameras. Overall I would recommend this show!

My son loves Nick Jr. he watches it everyday and his favorite is the Wonder Pets. The State Theatre was beautiful and the setting was amazing. When going in we were so excited and did not know what to expect. The Ni Hao Kai Lan was the best part of the show. My son was not interested in the Wonder Pet at all even though they are his favorite. They had awkward costumes where my son was confused why they had people holding the characters. (I wonder why they didn't just wear the costumes like the other acts.) The people on the stage really threw off the Wonder Pets characters. There was so many open seats I questioned why they sold us the far seats when the money wasn't an object. We ended up moving to other seats during break because there were soooo many open seats that were closer. The experience of going to see the act live was good and different but I feel that it was WAY overpriced for such a bad story line (beside Ni Hao Kai Lan). I bought the tickets in a month and half advance and still got bad seats. We spent $113 for tickets and $20 on a t-shirt. My husband and I agree that we would rather buy Nick Jr. movies and games for our son then see the show.

I and my son enjoyed storytime live very much we are still talking about ! We saw every thing that was happening on stage, we have very good seats. I wasn't going to go because of the prices were kind of steep being that we are in a resession and i am currently unemployed ! I still glad we went!!!

Over the last two years we've attended a few kid friendly shows, and most have been worthwhile. This one just didn't seem to have the same production value. The sets were fairly low budget and the story lines not as engaging. Overall there are better shows out there for the money. Nick could and should do a better job.

An excellent show. My 7 yr old daughter loved every minute. It was worth the money to see her expression when each character came out on stage.

It was decent. I would have preferred they use people to play the characters that were in line with the actual characters. I felt they should have used children.

I am a mother of two toddler daughters, and we had a ball at the show. My daughters really enjoyed the interaction with the characters and the crowd! The show lasted just the right amount of time to keep my girls occuppied; with a small intermission inwhich we had a potty break. We are looking forward to the next event! Thank you LA for putting on as awesome show! It was filled with bright colorful eye catching animation.

Considering this was our first time @ Nokia Theatre, our experience was GREAT! from the moment I decided to take my 4 yr old son until the actual event was very smooth. I was pleased with the option to purchase parking because it made the experience so much easier!!! The show itself was amazing! from Zee to Dora the entire time was magical!

Took my 3 year old grandson to see Storytime Live! He sat and watched the entire show and was mesmerized by all the characters. When the characters asked for participation he was waving his arms and doing his happy dance. Great show and I definitely will take my other grandkids next time.

I had lots of fun seeing my 4 year old daughter jump around and sing along to many songs!... Although I think the stage was too small, it would have been a much better experience if the stage had been wider. Other than that, show was great!

Need to see it once. It was ok show. It was kinda boring. Not much kids interactions...we been to several kids plays and this one does not rank up there like disney Rock n Roll. But I'd recommend it to see it once just for the kids to go...

The show was "okay" - It was quite expensive for such a low-cost production. All the characters faces were showing but they didn't apply any face makeup, so they didn't look "in character.' They also had the same people on stage playing different characters, and my 3 year old son started to notice. The storyline was not very upbeat. The best part was their closing song, where the singing was quite good and the children were actually bouncing around.

This was a show that appealed to my 2 year old. My 8 year old found it boring. Maybe he's getting too old but if it was a good enough show it would've held his interest. There were only 4 different scenes which I thought was too short for the price I paid per ticket. I was disappointed that the Wonder Pets didn't stick to their traditional show theme. Then again, this was for the kids. Nokia Theatre can at least do better with the quality of the snacks for the adults to enjoy. Thought the popcorn was too salty, pretzels were barely edible being hard and dry. But for the kids, I'd do it again.

The event was very good, and it represented the Nick Jr. shows very well. However, I felt that all of the stories should have been more interactive live the Dora story. These are young kids sitting for more than an hour. They need stimulation! Dora was a great to end the show, but it would have been nice to have that excitement throughout; especially considering the price of the tickets.
