Keith Sweat
Pioneering the New Jack Swing style fusing electro-hip-hop production and contemporary urban R&B, Harlem, New York’s Keith Sweat became one of the most popular R&B/soul producers, singers and songwriters of the late ‘80s and ‘90s. He sang in nightclubs throughout New York City until he was discovered and signed with Elektra Records in 1987, releasing his debut solo studio album Make It Last Forever and selling three million copies with the smash single “I Want Her.” Sweat’s second album, 1990’s I'll Give All My Love to You hit No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart, and spawned the singles” I’ll Give All My Love to You” and “Make You Sweat.

I went to the Keith Sweat concert at the Ohio State Fair this past weekend and had a GREAT time. He had so much energy and really kept the crowd on their feet. Keith Sweat made the audience sweat from dancing to all his hits! I honestly was skeptical because as with other performers who haven't had a recent album, I wasn't sure how good his show was going to be. Boy was I proved wrong. This was a Great show and I would definitely recommend going to see him.

Keith Sweat's performance exceeded my expectations. Considering the venue was the Ohio State Fair and that Keith Sweat was huge in the 90s, I had my reservations. I thought he would sing to tracks playing in the background. Keith Sweat came with a full band, back up singers and a wing man to help keep the crowd hyped. He sounded great and the show was full of energy.

This was an amazing concert! Montell Jordan had a surprisng amount of hits that kept the crowd going. BBD was entertaining to hear AND watch they still can dance after all these years! Keith Sweat took everybody back with his numerous chart toppers ! Every song kept you singing and dancincg!

It was good to see Montell Jordan after so many years. He still looks and sounds good. Wish he could have stayed on stage a little longer. Bev Biv Devoe rocked the house. first time seeing them in concert, they still know how to move the crowd. Keith Sweat...(the love Doctor)...was awesome. He make you want to rekindle that flame.He has this thing about the way he sings that makes you want to move every part of your body. Would love them all in concert again.

I was surprised. Keith Sweat sounded just as good as on his albums. He has a good voice. We really enjoyed the show and went home in the mood. Only one criticism. I wish the show had gone longer. It seemed like he did the short version of his concert and cut some good songs short.

Keith Sweat is truely a great performer. He took command of the stage from the beginning of the show and took his audience on a nonstop love roller coaster ride while peforming his medley of hits. The ambiance of the Celeste Center was transformed into the "Sweat Hotel" with an array of lighting and sound magic as his fans eagerly awaited and sang along to each and every song. Appealing to the ladies he allowed them to be emersed in a love fest that only he could provide. Keith really made the women "sweat" as promised and the fellas enjoyed watching it happen!

The concert was the best. Keith put on a show - despite the fact that it could have been better without the kids - you know he is grown too and he wants some too!! (Had to have been there???) I really enjoyed being there because everyone, men included, kicked it! It was nothing like the new age concerts where these young kids stand around waiting to see what the show will bring. EVERYONE was into the show, singing, dancing, participating. We paid Keith for the show but Keith put us all to work!

The Keith Sweat show was great. Unfortunatly Avant couldn't show, but the rest of the show was worth admission. More people should have been there. The place was too empty for someone as good as Sweat. The Detroit All-Stars started the show and I was pleasently suprised at how well they sang. Keith's lady singers were good, and the little guy running around the stage with random sayings getting the crowd going was good too. He just needs to do more than the same dance moves every song. The only problem was the show starting 2 hours after the ticket stated. They could have started earlier in my eyes. But it did allow me to have a couple adult beverages which were made very well, they didn't hold back with the alcohol. All in all the show, the theater, and Keith Sweat were great. It was just too bad more people were not there to enjoy the show.

The concert was nice. Keith Sweat put on an AWESOM show!!!!!!! That was my fourth time seeing him live. However, Avant did not show and the show started @ 9:00 instead of 6:00. They did not give us any options as to get a refund or stay for the show. I did not think that was right.

Keith Sweat was delish and full of energy. I loved every minute of it. His female back-up singer has a sweet wonderful voice and she rocked it also.! But the real star was Keith! I have been a Keith Sweat fan from his first album (and cassette tape- which I played until it couldn't play any more ). Keith is one SEXY, SEXY, SEXY beautiful brown-skinned man and he had every female in the audience feeling him ! Believe that ! The time of the show was actually pushed back about 90 minutes and at first my friend and I were tight over that. But once Keith and his entourage came on stage, it was well worth the wait. Also, the young man who danced on stage for a couple of songs, was very energetic, not to mention he had some sweet grind moves, but none better than my man KEITH !

The scheduled Keith Sweat/Avant concert was truly a let down for me and many other concert goers. The ticket stated that the concert started at 6:00 pm but didn't start until 8:00 pm and Avant cancelled and was replaced by the Detroit All Stars. As a result, many people obtained refunds leaving the venue with many empty seats.

The crowd was not large, which was good, so everyone got to move up to the empty seats. Needless to say there was not a bad seat in the house. He performed like there was a full house played to the crowd and did a great job with all his ladies. He sang all the good songs and we were not disappointed.

What an amazing tour. Avant sang really well but wasnt one of my faves. 112 put on a good performance but KCI and JOJO, hands down my favorite of the night!!!! We did not want them to leave off stage. Keith Sweat sang well, his voice was on point, sounded just like the cd BUT again KCI and JOJO were the BEST!! I would love to see them come back to Baton Rouge and star as the main event!! I was able to get some awesome pics of their brotherly love for one another, love those 2!! The others were good but Kci and JoJo the Best!!

First off, the man sings live and does it great! I love the tribute he did for Sammy Davis Jr. He interacts with his fans in the crowd and makes sure they're having fun. It was a nice, classy event. The musicians were amazing. It was great hearing the music I listened to in the 90's live. This was the first concert my daughters and I had ever been to. My only issue was that the people two rows in front of us were smoking marijuana!! I didn't see anyone close by to make them aware of it. My family and I really did enjoy ourselves.

The opening acts are boring. You only recognize 3 songs a piece from Avant and Mint Condition. He needs better opening acts or just left them do their 3 songs sand he can come out earlier and stay on longer. Keith has a bevy of hits that I could listen to all night long. Love his homage to his former group LSG and Johnny Gill as a surprise guest is lovely. Keith is a powerhouse and can hold a show all by himself. We grew up together in Harlem and he made me proud coming from Grant Projects. Oh and the EMCEE was pretty good

The artist were amazing but the middle acts had people leaving including myself. Last year Mr Luke did WONDERFUL JOB AND DJ on that Friday. They keep crowd engaged.in show no one left even in freezing weather. Also need more Jumbo screens can't SEE NOTHING, The restroom were clean that was PLUS thus year..I will recommend people to go NO PARTY LIKE MIAMI PARTY

I took my mom to see his concert and he was amazing. He made sure to captivate the audience with his sex appeal and smooth singing voice. He even jumped out into the audience. We didn't want it to end. I would definitely go again.

The concert started 1 late due to soundcheck. There was also a 20 minute wait between each of the 5 performances! Thats a lot of waiting ! Also the microphone kept turning off during performances anyway ! The performances were good but the soundcheck wait made it tge worst !!

This event was so amazing. Al B was so friendly and actually went into the crowd, music was just amazing. Everyone did a good job keeping us entertained. It felt so good to be listening to real music again. Overall I think Salt n Pepa did the best!!

My girlfriend and I had the best time at this show! We had front row tickets, and all the performers were outstanding. It is definitely unclear why this was called RnB and Comedy Explosion, though. There was about 2 minutes of comedy in between acts. Just seemed like an RnB show with an emcee. But that was fine because I was there for SWEAT!

I couldnt wait to see Jon B at this event. He did not perform very long and the audio/sound was not good. Microphone issues often could not hear his voice. He seemed unfriendly while taking pictures, maybe drunk? Concerned about his drink and not his fans. Also charged $30 per photo and did not eveb have a marker to autograph as stated in costZ Since Genuine was NO SHOW it seemed that Kieth Sweat spent alot of time talking and joking in between songs to kill time. They also brought out a female comedian who was funny but also seemed to be used as a time killer. Overall truly disappointed and spent alot of money on this event. When could have just waited for a county fair or casino event to arise and saved money.

Parking was easy.. Getting into the venue was seemless. The only bad part was the long, long lines for the drinks. There should have been more then one bar for all the amount of people there were. Otherwise, everything else was great.

This show exceeded my expectations! I listened to him all through high school and loved him. He sounds great in person; unlike some artists who sound poor compared to their albums and he doesn't lip sing either. He added some comedy to his show which made it even better. We sat VIP and it was worth it. I will definitely go to another show. The only down side was the lines for drinks was crazy! We missed part of the show because we had to stand in line so long for drinks.
