Top shelf entertainment and a nicely done buffet make for a very pleasent way to spend a few hours on Sunday. We have been here before and noticed an improvement in the quality and variety of the buffet. The music is always first class and this time with Freddy Cole was exceptional. Good sound and sight lines. Dorthaan makes us feel like guests in her living room. Not to be missed.

Great music. Great food. One complaint: selecting specific seats at a table was a waste of time bc they were not honored, so get there early to claim your spot. We sat at the table we selected, but not the seats. I asked our server and she said ppl were already sitting in our seats. What's the point of going through that exercise when purchasing tx?

Antoinette Montague was definitely an experience. She was funny, she was soulful. She is an all around entertainer. We absolutely LOVED her. It was my Husbands birthday. He said it was the best birthday he could remember in quite awhile. We would definitely see her again and again.

Lovely performance. Carrie was in rare form, her voice beautifully suited for that room. Supporting musicians were excellent right in tune with her every move. Top flight performance! ,

Sunday was just a wonderful day at NJ PAC that began with brunch at Dorthaan's Place! My musician-husband is really pleased when he has good jazz AND good food! Vanessa Rubin is a very fine singer who announced a new Billie Holiday musical that she will be doing in the near future. We have decided to make an annual ritual of having brunch at Dorthaan's Place and continuing on to more wonderful jazz at the Sassy Awards in the Victoria Theater!

I thought The Antoinette Montague Quar't was very good. I enjoyed the music selection, and they all were very talented. The food and service at the buffet was excellent. The only criticism I have is I would have liked to hear more music and less talking. I thought too much time was spent thanking people in the audience.

The music was fantastic, the venue & food for brunch excellent. The performance was way too short at the second set & I felt cheated

He had to rush out after the 2nd show to literally catch a plane. He was commited enough to do the performance despite his rushed schedule. His worldly band was extremely talented as well & could have stayed the extra 15 min that he had to cut short. This was my 1st time seenig his performance & would definitely recommend folks to see him. I met 2 guys from Long Island who had travelled over that afternoon. That was their 1st time to the NJPAC & couldn't stop marveling about the whole experience. They're looking forward to many more events in Newark. I informed them about the Bethany Baptist Jazz Vespers, the Newark Musem Jazz in the Garden & The NJPAC Sounds of the City. They're both retired & said travelling over to NJ was no problem.
