A Decade of Soul

This group gave the best of all the songs that I love- did Micheal Jackson - Tina Turner

We attended BB Kings in NYC to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. A Decade of Soul were absolutely amazing and it was the best night out. Such a talented band and so many memories from the songs they sang x.

What a nice venue that B.B Kings B&G is!! All great singers/musicians. Best show ever! This made our family gathering ( came from Calif . South of France and Holland in total six of us a very special and memorable on ) will definitely go back if show is still there next year. The music's legacy won't be the problem as that will live on for decades to come. A big thanks for this great BAND !!!!!

The music brought back many wonderful memories. The singers were awesome, the sound was just right. Because I am old school, I appreciated the way the older gentleman was dressed. He sang , moved and sang with class. The young the lady's voice was awesome and Mr. Heavy 's foot movements were a delight to see. All in all It was a very good show. I am sorry I do not remember the folks names. But I do remember their faces and movements, including all the musicians.

TRULY ENJOYED A WALK IN TIME DOWN MEMORY LANE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND A DECADE OF SOUL.... A MUST TO WATCH

Great song selections and pure fun on stage. We had a great time grooving with these tunes.

My friend and I absolutely LOVED this show! The singers have beautiful singing voices, the group included one of the original members of The Drifters, and the lead female could do Aretha and Gladys Knight with the most incredible sound! would go again! Highly recommend. Show started at 7, we were out of there by 8:30 and on to our next music venue in NYC, of which there are many.

The singers were amazing &call the musicians were very talented loved all there song selections! Would see them again

It was great! I am so happy they want to keep on sharing this music era. Amazing musicians and marvelous singers! Totally recomended! About the place, the situation is great (near times square) and the enviroment is unique. PS: Please, from the dessert menu, try the giant cookie with a lot of whipped cream on top.

Not a bad night out for the ticket price in Manhattan, they give you plenty of food the band was pretty good but I had to get up and talk to the hostess because we sat down but nobody came to our table, there was waitstaff moving around the room but evidently nobody informed our server, once we did have one she was pretty good.

Wish I lived closer would go every weekend. The show was great

We spent the weekend in New York and we had such a great time - sitting at the bar with a drink and listening to music and they were great

This event and all it's components exceeded my expectations. Anyone who is a fan of live music should definitely check this place out as well as the band. They were very interactive with the crowd. My friends and I loved them and will be seeing them again soon.

It was my first time and really had a nice experience, to hear the band bringing back all the musical memories of some of the greatest. Big daddy and the lead lady put it together like no other, up close and personal, it makes for a great evening. The only reason I give four stars and not five, Is the food at Lucille"s could of been much better for the price. Other than that, nice ambiance, great show. We should of gotten, drinks and cutters.

They came on late. The show was a total of 1 hour and 15 mins. Service was very slow.

The show was entirely too short. The set was an hour long. The amount paid for show did not match the show length. Just as the show was getting exciting, it ended.

Took my mom out for her birthday! She loves this era as do i noting was more satisfying than seeing her dance and smile! I loved it!

If you like soul and Motown go to see A Decade of Soul in BB Kings. A great band, superb vocals, played all the classics so great to sing along to too.

If you love soul music, this show is for you! The choices of the songs, the choices of the musicians, everything is perfect! What I love in live in a band, everybody can have his 5min solo.

My husband and I really enjoyed the show. It was the 60's decade and although that was my parents' era...I sang along to every song! Small venue which is what I like. Food was ok but I didnt expect a lot. Waiter was great and dancing with the customers. There's room for you to dance in the back as well. Seating is 1st come 1st served.

Totally worth it! The band is awesome and keeps you entertained from start to finish

Great band with good " oldies but goldies " hits ! Unfortunately, the food of the restaurant is not cheap at all !

Great atmosphere here on a Saturday night. Lovely food served by great waitresses who seemed to be there to cater for all requests. The food is good, I would recommend eating before the show starts, as I was so caught up in the singing, my food went cold! Great singers and talented musicians. Just a great night if you re into Soul and Motown! Will be back the next time we a re visiting NY from Scotland

This was an amazing show, excellent entertainment especially when we did the congo line dancing.

Great show! Sat in front of stage. Pork Chops were delicious. Instruments were on point.

The show was great. It felt intimate and classy. The performers were funny and talented.

First time I've ever been! Great seats, food came out right away; wait staff very attentive. Band was on FIRE! I am definitely returning to see other concerts and highly recommend everyone check this band and this venue out!

The band was great, the venue was great. I'm not exactly sure why tickets needed to be purchased. We walked right in the front, asked where to see Decade Of Soul. We were pointed in the right direction and got seats at the bar with a view of the band. No one asked to see our tickets once. I even asked the bartender what the tickets were for and she had no idea

First of all, this was advertised as a "Dinner Show", however dinner was not included. Secondly, the music was good but no where near being worth the cost of the tickets minus the dinner which should have been included. Thirdly, our meals were screwed up 3 times! We were told that kitchen was out of the main ingredients for both of our orders which is ridiculous! Then when I asked for something else, they brought out a completely different dish which I could not eat. When asked to speak to the supervisor, the hostess/waitress copped an attitude like it was our fault. Luckily Monty the other waiter saw the displeasure on our faces and he stepped in and saved the night. He helped to turn the situation into a pleasant one and waited on us hand and foot. Thank god for good people in this world like him! He by far is the best waiter that I have ever had!

Show was good but we were expecting Christmas music since that was included in title and it was during holiday season

This group is beyond amazing and special. The group performed with high energy and true passion. They could really sing, and the musicians played theirs hearts out. The intimate venue (BB King New York) was perfect for the show, too. The songs took you back to Motown. Wonderful show--lots of fun--memorable! Highly recommend!

The Band..on point!!!...having to sit at the bar because we were not going to eat..BRUTAL!!. Can't really see from that uncomfortable angle, with the partition there and speakers..WHY, WHY, WHY?? You should be able to site anywhere especially if you're having drinks..Dinner reservations should be made then seated applicably...Have to sit at the bar..PLEASE!

Show was awesome. But food and service sucked. They charged gratuity but we could never find our server. She sat at one table and carried on a WHOLE conversation. The chairs were run down

Visiting the BB KIngs Blues club from Britain and a lover of soul music - for me this was the most amazing, exhilarating show! Fabulous band and singers- so professional and cool! Wonderful ambience in the club and a very friendly audience. I didn't want the show to end and left on a complete high, having sung my heart out all evening. Just wonderful! I would visit New York again...but only if I could see this show during my visit! Don't miss it!

The band were very good but were only on for a very short time. Food and drink was very expensive and as soon as the band had finished the check was put in front of us and that was that. The whole evening lasted no more than 90 minutes. The tickets said the doors opened at 19:30, we arrived early at 19:10 and people were already seated.

They gave a great show.....music anyone would enjoy! Left feeling satisfied!

OUTSTANDING! I'd see it again and again! The band was very open to people singing along and dancing!

Well the band was fun even if I sometimes felt that they weren't really trying too hard. It was an early show (5pm) so that may have had something to do with it. However if you want to eat, this is not the place! Food was bad. We already knew this so we did not eat but the people next to us hated everthing they ordered. Also you are going to pay top dollar for a run of the mill cocktail. The service is not so good either. BUT if you like to hear soul music by a live band that it was worth the price.

great show........................gift for my husband. it was our 1st anniversary and we l lloved the show. we will defittiely be back in the future!!

Great energy, great songs, very entertaining; they took me way back!

I would give this show an A. I really enjoyed it. The song selections where great; took me back down memory lane. The musicians were very good as was the singing. The dinner part could use a little help. The food was not worth the money charged. The next time I would bypass the food and order the cheese and fruit platter, if I want something to snack on. Otherwise a very good show, I would recommend it to others.

The band is amazing, with great voices and musicians. B.B. King is a fantastic place, with a very good atmosphere. I had lot of fun!

On a cold day it was nice to be inside listening to great music and enjoying a good meal. The musicians were talented and the vocalists were on point. The hostess was most gracious as I arrived early and the young lady at the bar, Tiffany was a sweetheart.

I took my boyfriend out for an evening of fun to bring back the memories of old school, love filled music and I was so satisfied with this performance. The energy was great! The musicians were so talented. They worked the audience so well. I couldn't even stay in my seat, I had to get up and dance. I was so happy I chose to go.

The music was too loud, that does not allowed to enjoy the performance .

I celebrated my birthday with friends at BB Kings and I must say I truly enjoyed"Decade of Soul". I danced with another group who was also celebrating a birthday. I haven't had that much fun in years. The band was awesome and the lead vocals was amazing. I will be back for sure. Being from NJ we don't see good shows, this show was the best!!!!!!!!

The venue felt intimate. The voices were amazing. Felt like I was traveling back in time.

It is a great show to bring you back in time. The selection of songs is fabulous. The stage presences were very friendly and funny.

This show was awesome. The venue was great. I wasn't even born when these songs came out but I knew all of them and enjoyed dancing to them.

A nightclub venue with an incredible band performing Motown oldies with room to stand up and dance -- a fun way to have dinner. A ticket was $30 and a $10 minimum for food and drink at the table, not including tax and gratuity. My dinner was $30 -- difficult to mess up grilled chicken with vegetables and rice. The prices for food were high so I recommend just getting a cocktail. A fun way to spend 2-3 hours with friends in midtown.

Music was great, vocalists really top notch and band really tight. Food was poor, service was appalling. Would not recommend B.B.King's for food.

The band was so professional and all of the songs they were playing were brilliant! It was very entertaining and we just didnt want it to end. We loved all the classic soul songs and would go to their concert again any time.

Great night. Will go again. First time in New York.

We really enjoyed this show!! All the performers were first class and did a great job taking us from the 60s thru the 70s with some great Motown tunes!!! Talented musicians and singers. Great show!!!!
