My favorite human and myself went to the Cohoes music hall for the first time for Floodwood and Eastbound Jesus. Amazing old school venue with incredible acoustics. Floodwood came out first and blew us away with mainly their own stuff. Tri- City blue grass, I will call it.. The lead guy can play banjo, violin and folk style guitar like he was born to do so. The mandolin player is incredible as well as the bass player. Vinnie Amico from moe. is the drummer, what a talent! They had fun and we did too. As for Eastbound Jesus. They were very tight with a jammy, old school country rock show. Once again, mostly their own stuff that was beyond excellent. They did an awesome version of a late, great Tom Petty song which blew the relatively small crowd away. Once again, all had a blast. We will definitely go out of our way to see them both again, separate or together. The Cohoes music hall is a gift. I believe the max crowd is 300. Love it! Sincerely, Honer & Best Human Ever.
