This wasn't the best cpr I've been to but it still kicked ass i would have rated it 5 stars but they held it outside during hurricane season so the chances of rain were higher and if they would have had one more great band it would have been worth 5 stars

This would be my first CPR-Fest that I've been and I just had a blast there, all the bands were just amazing, usually there's always one band that does ok, but they all were great.

I wasn't feeling good when i went and had to leave early, honestly I've had more fun at a regular concert. There was no energy in the crowd. I only wish i could have stayed for hollywood undead. Im sure it would have all turned around.

This event had an awesome lineup. We bought the tickets & drove 2 hours to go see this. Nowhere did they say it would not allow re-entry until you get to the gate. So they had beer, soda, & water. Then for food they had hot dogs & fried foods & ice cream. So you were stuck eating fried fatty foods that leave you extremely thirsty or leave the event & not be able to re-enter because they had a no food or drink & no coolers policy. So we left the first day because they had nothing we could eat. The second day we showed up at & pm so we could see the bands we wanted & still be able to eat. The ground was soaking soppy wet both days. But not only was it so wet that you had mud all over your feet, but there was dead fish & crabs all over the place. There was also spilled beer & puke as well. Then we found, just because we saw a long line, not because they announced it) that the bands were giving autographs. That was cool. but they should have had more PR or something that made it so people knew what was going on. There was no schedule of which bands were going on posted anywhere. There was not enough other things to do or see. They could have made this event alot better if : 1) they had alot more vendors at it, 2) the location wasn't disgustingly wet & muddy, 3) they had a better food & drink selection. 4) it was alot more organized & they had things labeled better. 5) they allowed you to bring chairs or had chairs to rent there. you either sat on a blanket that was instantly soaked & smelled like fish & marsh the whole day, or you sat on the concrete & your whole body hurt. 6) allow people to leave & come back if its a all day event. Some people have special diets & cant eat fried & fatty foods or sodas & beer. Its not like they aren't coming back & your job isnt to sell concessions, or is it? For the money we paid, we expected it to be alot better. probably wont ever go again.

All the bands were great. The only issue I had was that chairs weren't allowed. Why? It rained the day of the concert and if you didn't want to stand for eight hours straight you had to sit on the wet ground. Jazz Fest in New Orleans allows chairs and its a bigger venue.

all the local bands were amazing and i think its amazing that carnival of madness allowed it! It gave them such a great feeling! Ive seen new medicine before and they still kicked some butt! Gets better each time i see them! Cavo was great and I'm glad i finally got to see them. Halestrom really got the crowd going and were amazing!!! i really want to see them again! chevelle, as always put on a great show! I was surprised by Evanescence though because so many people told me that they were no good live but i thought differently. Amy sounded really good almost like she does on the records!

Evanscence and Chevelle were great but the way the vendors and alcohol were set up sucked they should really take lessons from voodoo, when you pay for drinks with drink tickets the thought of tipping is completely out of the picturs and only three food vendors is kind of poor!

I dove a little over 400 miles to finaly see/hear my favorite band from finland : H.I.M !!!! The night before the show when i arrived the weather was very pleasent . As i arose day of the show i was not thrilled to see rain outside my hotel window but i kept my positive attitude hoping for a ray of sun...that never appeard. Being such a H.I.M fan i made my way to the park at 9am..yes 9am..i wanted to be sure to be up front when VILLE and the guys hit the stage. it turned out to be a long wet day but i did discover some new cool bands along the way that did an awsome job of keeping us poor wet die hard fans going. so i must give props to the following groups : Longreef , candel light red and Cathercist . Longreef played a tune I thought worthy of mentioning called : Dirty Hotel ...and they had a good energy vibe that spred over the crowd. Even wet and slightly chiled the whole audience gave these bands plenty of screams and applause . these bands also invited everyone to their merchandise tents after their performances so you could meet them ! Very cool !!! so thanks to Longreef, candel light red and Cathercist...and p.s to cathercist's lead singer ( name unknown currently ?? )...you have some strong vocals there !!!! i just dont know any of your songs yet. Now down to the H.I.M SHOW !!!! It seemed to take Forever to get their stage equipment set up !!!! but finnaly sometime after 8pm they came out to play !!!!! Ville said "good evening" to us all...then they began...I can not recall the order that the songs were played in but at least they played two of my favorites. one being : Into the night from their latest cd : Tears on tape and the other a cover of Wicked game !!! and low and behold...the rain let up for awhile !!!! looking around me at the crowd i could see happy H.I.M FANS !!! and awed H.I.M FANS !! i fell somewhere in the totaly satisfied I drove here to see them play mode !!! it was worth every mile !!!! even if there had been a freak snow storm i would not not have missed this show. !!! my only complaints : the security/workers could have been more helpfull/informitive for they seemed to know nothing when you asked them anything. the fest people should have had more - LOTS MORE - advertisments around the area !! I mean i saw NO banners/signs or posters anywhere around the area and I stayed within a 10 mile area of the park !!!!! Acsess for those driving was a bit difficult ,though parking was not a problem. Hats off to all the friendly and polite fans I did meet !!!! Yes, I'd do it again in a heart beat !!! So to H.I.M I SAY " PLEASE COME PLAY ALOT MORE SHOWS IN MISSISSIPPI....OR AT LEAST ONE IN MEMPHIS TN !!!!!! YOU ARE THE COOOLEST BAND !!!

Good over all line up. All that Remains put on the best show as far as, crowd response and everyone i talked to said they were here for ATR. Volbeat headlining was good, they ended it right. Muddy and rainy as all hell, but if it wasnt terrible weather it wouldnt be real music fest.

Him played as though he didn't want to be there and looked to be stoned if not drunk. I do cnfess however to not being a huge fan of his music. Soil was great the lead singer was humble enough to come off stage and mix it up with the crowd which impressed me. Of curse volbeat put on the greatest show of the night, and made it all worthwhile.

CPR fest 17 was an absolute blast this year. Despite the rain and mud, the whole day was thoroughly enjoyable. Security was top notch, even if a small backpack purse wasn't allowed in. The portable toilets were plentiful. The line up was amazing. HIM wasn't that great, they should've been earlier in the day with a shorter set. But Volbeat ending the day was totally kick ass. I used to be an avid voodoo fest attendee but I've finally found a music fest worth going to. The ticket prices were great and worth it. I absolutely love that you could bring chairs in...that was a serious joy given the mud and wet conditions.

This event was amazing! It was my first year going and it was the best day of my life. I spent $40 for my ticket but it was the best $40 I've ever spent. I got to meet so many bands and get pictures, as well as autographs and CDs and a great experience. Surrounded by fantastic rock music that makes you wanna throw your horns in the air to the beat of the bass, \\m/ amazing! Volbeat was amazing and Non Point, oh my god. I got to discover some new bands that I love now and over all it was just phenomenal. Rock on!

The venue was perfect! CPR Fest Ale was great and hope they will have it again in the future! They had amazing artists!! It would've been nice if they would've advertised about the military discount that we found out about after the event was almost over. We will most likely be going next year if work lets us. :)

The bands were great. Foxy Shazam was awesome, loved them, loved them. Hailstorm was fabulous. Evanescence was good. The ground was wet and a little muddy at jones park, but overall it was a good setup, with plenty of toilets and beer stands. Parking was greatly good too. Domino's was very much need and loved. The atmosphere was really nice I only saw two fights, despite the fact that I only saw three security guys. But wasn't worried. It was a good experience.

The concert was great! the weather was not as bad as the forecast said it would be so we got to lay out beach towels on the grass and enjoy the show with a cool breeze. Call Me No One was a band that I had not heard yet that has my favorite drummer in it, Morgan Rose. They were great! My favorite was Chevelle. It was my 3rd time seeing them and they were as good as I remembered. I loved the Ben and Jerry's that was availible as well as the domino's pizza! Overall a great time!

Based on the band selection, this event targeted mostly teenagers still too young and hormonally overdosed. Loved the bands I went to see (POD/Chevelle). Evanescense rocked too. The rest were stumps that appealed to one form of schizm or another. Hollywood Undead played to Beavis and Buttheads. Perfect place for Homeland Security undergrads to profile volitiles.

I had a great time and the last three acts made the wait worth while. Hailstorm ROCKED! Chevelle was awesome and Evanensce was phenominal. Loved Foxy Shazaam they put on a hell of a show~~great stage presence. New Medicine a newer group stood out among the new comers. This was my first CPR Fest and won't be the last. I am new to the area from Tennessee and was impressed with the entire show including but not limited to the overall organization. PROPS RILEY AND CRAB!

The first night was good and (Call me no one) stole the show. Crowd was killer. I'm from out of town and the people were very friendly. The second night was Awesome! New Medicine rocked the house! but Halestorm and Evanescence brought the house down! :) I was on vacation from st. louis and the CPR Festival put a huge exclamation on my week. I would highly recommend CPR Fest 17 next year. :) Gotta give a shout out to ) Foxy Shazam)....very entertaining. (Down the phoenix) rocked and signed autographs for hours. Good job guys. Its a shame more bands don't appreciate fans like you guys....hats off to you guys. Just a suggestion to all the bands who think they are too big to take the time to really say thank you to their fans??? One last shout out to my home city band, (Cavo). Excellent job guys! Proud of you.
