Jeremy Loops
As his name might suggest, South African folk-pop wunderkind Jeremy Loops is a master of harnessing technology to create sonic tapestries that are larger than the sum of their parts. At his live shows he uses loop pedals and a variety of other effects to layer guitar, ukulele, harmonica, and beatboxing, and the result is stunningly rich folk hybrid that always leaves fans awestruck. Atop the layered riffs and rhythms of songs like \"Sinner\" and \"Down South\" floats Loops' unadorned voice, which exists in perfect counterpoint to the complex sonic scaffolding that underpins his unique sound. In concert he's joined by rapper Mother Moleko and multi-i.

The show was unreal, Jeremy Loops put on a really lively performance even though the place was pretty empty. Great energy, great vibes, and good drinks/company.

Awesome show, first time ever taking the time and writing a review for a show. Opener was also great, SonReal, first I ever heard of him and he killed it.

We had an amazing night. Jeremy Loops and his band are truly amazing performers. He's also hilarious so it ends up being a bit of stand up comedy and wonderful music. He's incredibly gifted when it comes to connecting with the audience. Had us all laughing, dancing and singing along. Great great show!!

We had to stand in line for this event and were let in at 7:00 PM. Until 8:00 PM, nothing happened, and we just stood around (no seats). At 8:15 PM, the start-up (opening) bands began. There were two opening bands for this event, which played (1) a combination of blue-grass and (2) oldies (REM, Motown, etc.) for almost 1.5 hours!!!. Both of these did not fit what we, or most of the young audience (mean age 22-25), expected. The people stood on the dance floor, but the music played was not dance music at all. We were frustrated and left at 9:30 PM, which was before the main event even started. A group of friends of ours left even earlier. The worst thing about this hall is the acoustics. The sound is just terrible. When you stand on the sides (which is the only place you can rest a drink on), you cannot hear the music clearly, and even standing in the middle it is not good (unbalanced and way too load). In addition, there was no place to sit, which was strange, since the hall was not full at all.
