SLEEPWAVE IN CONCERT:With Sleepwave, ex-Underoath vocalist Spencer Chamberlain builds on the anthemic metalcore that drove his former band to glory by making more alternative-influenced tracks that appeal to both rock and metal fans alike. Underoath was known for their take-no-prisoners live shows, and Chamberlain's performances with Sleepwave are no different. The charismatic frontman delivers his trademark powerhouse vocals and guitarist Stephen Bowman unleashes a frenzy of melodic riffs while the rest of the band plows through crowd favorites like the fist-pumping “Paper Planes” and standout single “Through The Looking Glass”. Their incorporation of ‘90s industrial metal has drawn comparisons to Nine Inch Nails and Alice In Chains, but seeing Sleepwave live proves their energetic concerts are unlike anything else, treating ticket buyers to an adrenaline-filled experience they’ll never forget.

SPENCER CHAMBERLAIN formerly of UNDEROATH recently formed a new band SLEEPWAVE and I couldn't have been more impressed with their performance at the CHAMELEON CLUB. Their debut album is set to drop September 16, 2014 but the great single THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS was released ahead of the record. I also saw the video for ROCK AND ROLL IS DEAD AND SO AM I on You Tube. I was so impressed with these 2 songs that I just new this band was gonna be great and their live performance confirmed my judgement. NOTHING MORE were the headliners and also put on a great show. I'm feeling confident that a year or two from now I'll be bragging about this event because I expect both bands to blow up. Anyway- SLEEPWAVE rocked hard all through their set culminating with a mind blowing finally of THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS. Also had a chance to meet SPENCER after their great set. IF YOU GET A CHANCE TO SEE SLEEPWAVE- JUMP ON IT!

Sleepwave will undoubtedly be making their mark on music. Spencer sounds better than ever. Was also an honor to be able to meet the band in person really the icing on the cake
