Remember the Time

Tribute show was amazing! Jeffrey Perez sounded just like MJ, had the moves and everything, yet was sure to make it known he was an impersonator and not trying to pretend he was the real deal. He would joke with his band and came out to greet fans during a technical issue. It was so much fun. Wished it was longer than an hour show!

The show was terrible and the star of the show performed like he was in a high school production. The performance was a 1/2 hour late, had technical issues durning the show, and ended it ended within an hour. There were delays between sets, coustum issues, and bad lighting blasting me I the face. The back up dancers and singers were the saving grace for the entire show.

THIS GUY IS TRULY AMAZING - I HOPE HE READS THESE REVIEWS AND PRAY HE COMES BACK. WENT ON A WHIM DUE TO NON-STOP RADIO PROMOS, BOUGHT TIX A COUPLE DAYS BEFORE SHOW. AN MJ FAN FOR 30+ YRS - WAS SMALL WHEN THRILLER CAME OUT ON LP, AND THAT'S ALL MY SISTERS AND I DID WAS DANCE AROUND THE LIVING ROOM FOR YRS TO HIM.. LEARNED TO MOONWALK TO THE AMAZEMENT OF FAM/FRIENDS AT YOUNG AGES BECAUSE WE WERE SO OBSESSED. SWORE WE WERE MARRYING HIM AND HAVING HIS BABY (BILLIE JEAN). HAVE NEVER SEEN AN MJ IMPERSONATOR AND AM SO GLAD WE DID. THIS GUY HAS HONED EVERY MJ ANTIC THERE IS. HIS FACIAL EXPRESSIONS TIMED PERFECTLY WITH HAND MOVEMENTS, PERFECTED DANCE MOVES, HIS GAIT, EVEN HIS POSTURE... UNREAL. THEN THERE'S THE VOICE, PEOPLE IT IS IDENTICAL TO MJ'S. THE FALSETTO, THE GROWL, AGAIN-UNREAL. THE FIRST NITE WAS AMAZING - WENT OFF W/OUT A HITCH AND STARED IN UTTER AMAZEMENT THE ENTIRE SHOW. THIS PROMPTED US TO GET TIX AGAIN TO THE 2ND SHOW THE FOLLOWING NITE. THE 2ND NITE HOWEVER, I'M SURE WAS TIRING AS THERE WAS LESS ENERGY AND SOME GLITCHES W/MICROPHONES AND HE MISSED HALF THE LAST SONG DUE TO THEM STARTING THE TRACK TOO SOON WHILE HE WAS CHANGING OR SOMETHING, SO BACK-UPS TOOK OVER FOR AWHILE TIL HE CAME BACK ON, THEN THE SHOW SEEMED TO QUICKLY END. THE SECOND NITE HAD NOT AS MUCH AUDIENCE INTERACTION AND LESS SINGING & MOVES. THE BACKUP SINGERS WERE PRETTY DARN GOOD, THE BACKUP DANCERS NOT SO MUCH + OFF AT TIMES BUT MR MJ CLONE, ALBEIT SHORTER THAN THE REAL THING, WILL KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF - PLEASE GO AND SUPPORT HIM!! WE WANT HIM TO COME BACK!!

Great show. The performer that played M.J. was amazing. Great, tight band and the back-up singers were very good.

I realize my expectations were super high, and not nearly close to what the majority of this audience was expecting, but I was quite disappointed, I'm sorry to say. He didn't look like Michael Jackson, at times moved like him, but didn't stay in character. He sounded like him - both speak & singing voice - at times, but again didn't stay on point. Michael is much more crisp, and pops his poses. He also had an angry face while doing the moonwalk, side slide, etc. Michael doesn't do that! MJ is intense, but never angry. Missed neck movements, stomping, etc. and Thriller dance needs work! Not sharp at all. We made the best of the night, but this Lover of all things Michael was VERY underwhelmed.

Pretty good! Would recommend! Some of the songs were done at a faster beat than Michael Jackson's original version. But his image was very good! Sounded good too! Could have given the fans a couple more songs though - only an hour and a half - was supposed to be 2 hours!
