An amateur review by an old Pink Floyd fan. The group are very good performers and had excellent command of their various instrumental skills. They took all the risks possible in replicating that awesome sound. There were a few snags, an amp blew in the first 30 minutes which I'm certain interrupted their focus, there was a bit of excess noise at times as with nearly any live act I ever saw. On the positive side they played a jaw dropping Pigs (three different ones) right before the break, as well several virtuoso solo's on guitar, steel guitar, oboe, sax, and drums. The lead and backing vocals were very good as well. This is a new venture, just launched in the past few months. The high tech nature of the sound they're after means that they'll undoubtedly improve as they refine their act. I would see them again and certainly recommend the show to fans in other towns.

You can never duplicate the original, but this is as close as it gets! The musicians in this show were awesome. I was surprised at how much they sounded like the original and still put a little of their own spin on a couple songs. The singer had a great voice and I love the song selections. The lights were cool, and I will definitely be there if they come back. All in all it was a great date night.

No other band has moved me in my life like Pink Floyd. I saw Pink Floyd on the Animals tour back in the day and and was awed. US Floyd brought those feelings back. Musically, this band was spot on with a good light and video presentation to support the music. The sound was incredible. There were a couple of technical glitches early, most notably a blown guitar amp that prevents me from giving five stars to this review. But the band overcame that and showed Murphy the door to finish the first half of the show. The second half was incredible with the band performing exclusively from Dark Side and the Wall. If you like Pink Floyd, check out US Floyd. Well worth the cost of admission.

Awesome show. The wife and I went with another couple. All four of us had a great time and the band was spot on. I've seen a few Pink Floyd tribute bands over the last few years, but USFLOYD was by far the best. Unfortunately I can't see the original Pink Floyd, but I'll go see USFLOYD again anywhere!

I saw the US Floyd show at the Lexington Opera House, and it was an incredible experience. US Floyd is an excellent group of musicians, performing Pink Floyd songs with a fidelity that is unmatched since the original. The show is more than worth the cost of admission. If you love Pink Floyd, this is the group to see.

I saw another review on here and I'm not sure we were at the same show? The band was INCREDIBLE!!! They did have a technical (amp?) issue about halfway into the first half of the show, but after it was quickly fixed, they came back and killed it. Between the lights, lasers, and musicianship it was an awesome night. My wife and the couple we went with agreed. We would all go again to see USFLOYD. The overall show wasn't a slick production or copy of the later Pink Floyd, but more of a raw and powerful younger Pink Floyd.

I took my darling wife and drove two hours to see this show in Lexington, KY and left at intermission. Miscues, missed notes, mishaps like blowing two amps (which I can get over), and a lead singer who steadily drank himself into a Rage Against the Machine instead of Welcome to the Machine mindset ruined it for me. The musicians were talented, but it was far from a tribute and at times, closer to a massacre of the beloved Pink Floyd that operates as the soundtrack for my life. Perhaps it was just a bad night, but this is the show I saw (part of it anyway) and there is no way I would trust them with my evening again if it was a Pink Floyd night for me. A sad and dismissal representation of a beautiful tribute concept, USFloyd simply couldn't get it together after the opening Shine On You Crazy Diamond, and left me, as I am sure they did many others, psychedelically deprived and musically malnourished.
