The Release Show for "Songs from Hell's Hollow" was an incredible, magical night. Every time I go to a Roxie Watson concert--and I've been to many--I think it's the best one yet, and this show was no exception. The members of RW have extraordinarily beautiful voices and create breathtaking harmonies; some of my favorite songs were the ones they sang a capella. These singer/songwriters are all captivating storytellers. The stories they shared about the origins of their songs offered a glimpse into the emotions and events that inspired them, giving even more depth to the music. And the music on this CD is also their best yet; the songs take you through a broad range of emotions and tempos, and their voices, which I loved on the first two CDs, have never been better. The energy and excitement in the audience were amazing. Listening to this band is like having a group of the most talented, coolest, funniest, kindest women you d ever want to meet sitting around your living room. They made even a large venue like The Variety Playhouse feel homey and intimate. The friendship among the band members comes across vividly on stage, as does their genuine caring and appreciation for their audience, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for their fans. RW is an unbelievably talented group who bring so much sheer delight to their audience through their energy, their humor, their voices, and their incredible lyrics and music. I left this concert, as I've left all their concerts, feeling renewed, re-energized, and joyful, and already eagerly looking forward to the next show and the next CD. And now it's almost here, with the Release Show for Roxie Watson's CD #4 scheduled for August 19, 2017!

Loved the band - great combination of contemporary bluegrass, soulful country, and upbeat rock n roll. The musicians are unbelievably talented, and the songs are poignant and fun.

Roxie Watson was absolutely FANTASTIC.The "feel" of the room allowed the Band to show their swagger and cut loose for their fans. The Variety is such a great place to hear music while allowing the audience to be close to the bands for an overall amazing experience. All the Playhouse workers are beyond friendly and helpful...they know they are lucky to be there.

This concert was fantastic! Of course, Roxie Watson was awesome, and the sound and lighting was terrific! Wonderful Wonderful!!!!
