Tessanne Chin

Tessanne was unforgettable!. Have been following her since The Voice Season 5. She was amazing in the Voice. But hearing her performing live was unbelievable. Her rendition of I have nothing that she dedicated to Whitney brought the house down, standing O for 5 minutes. Her set included some of the songs that she sang in The Voice, like Try, I have nothing, Redemption song, and Underneath it all; songs from her new album Count on my love; and songs before The Voice that gained her fans all over the Caribbean like Messenger and Hideaway. She was constantly interacting with the audience, even danced ska on stage with a little girl who was at the show. The two backup singers of her Bread and Butter Band were also unbelievable. Worth the trip from Tennessee for the show. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Music was good, but event too long for a Sunday night.

A reggae concert should have people performing reggae music! The main performer came out and sang songs no one cared to hear so much so when he finally showed up at 12:30 we left after the first few songs. Huge waste of my time and money . Especially disappointed because I bought tickets for 6 people for over $350 hoping to take them out to enjoy Valentines weekend, major fail!!!!

Tessanne surely knows how to run a show.. her concert at King's Theatre was priceless...she left me and the audience wanting more. I never felt short changed... I got more than my money's worth!!! I loved her strong sense of humour and awesome personality that was given in the concert... I have to praise Tessanne on how she maintain a delightful performance in a packed house from start to end!!! I can tell, she enjoys what she does!!! I'm Looking forward to see her there once again....in many more concerts!!!

Tessanne 's performance at the Kings Theatre was incredible, her interaction with the audience was so spot on kept us wanting more. I have been a fan since her appearance on The Voice and attend most of her concerts in NYC since and have absolutely no regret. She is just an extremely talented professional that continues to grow. Tessanne Chin gave such an amazing performance at the Kings Theater in Brooklyn. Ms. Chin has a way of building RAPPORT with her audience which is truly genuine, as does her back up singers Thamar Williams and Ifidel Williams. Her performance was spot on and you can truly see a grammy in her near future!!! She received a STANDING OVATION for performing "I Have Nothing"!!! Amazing TESSANNE CHIN IS THE VOICE OF THE CENTURY!!! To top it off she brought my daughter on stage to as a volunteer to do the "SKA" so sweet to my daughter and put her at ease. As a mom if anyone has any doubts about bringing their children to a Tessanne Chin concert BRING THEM!!!! Such and amazing performer!!!

Tessanne Chin and her Bread and Butter Band will never disappoint. Ms. Chin knows how to build a strong rapport with her audience and speaks so lovingly and appreciatively to those who attend her concerts, and boy can she SAAAANG. What else can I say, just an awesome experience!!!!

Loved every moment of Tessanne's performance. She was Entertaining, Vocals on point, interacted with the audience BEAUTIFULLY. No matter how far away you were from the stage ... her amazing performance personalized it for you. I WILL FOREVER ATTEND TESSANNE'S CONCERT! SHE IS AN AMAZING ARTIST! MONEY'S WORTH AND MORE!

Tessanne's performance was absolutely stupendous! The atmosphere she created at King's Theater made you feel like you could stay all night and just listen to her sing, talk and joke with the audience. Her selection of songs brought you on a fantastic journey. Whether I was up dancing or sitting in absolute amazement of her vocal ability, I know I will absolutely see Tessanne Chin perform live again. AND I will definitely be as close to the stage as possible!

Tessanne never disappoints you at a live event. This time the Kings Theatre stage was her canvas and her voice was her paintbrush. The end result was a masterpiece. She has the voice and the heart of an angel.

I was disappointed. I went to see her in Philadelphia because I watched the Voice finally and I am also of Jamaican descent. I even brought my Jamaican flag. Her set seemed rather short. It was a very small, intimate setting. It was part of my birthday celebration and I dragged a friend of mine with me, promising it would be a good show. I noticed the CD's on sale, and they quickly told me that she won't be signing autographs. After the show I waited for over 30 minutes for her to come out. Several of us stood there very surprised, cause we were used to the artist coming right out to take pictures and greet fans. This was not the case. The staff kept telling me that she was coming. Then we all assumed that she was waiting for the crowd to thin out. There just less than 200 people there. And most of that crowd left right after the show. There were maybe 2 dozen people left. I was extremely disappointed. You're selling CD's but you won't sign them? And you have us waiting for you with no ETA. I won't go to another show again. I live 30 minutes from Philadelphia and didn't have time to wait around.

Tessanne Chin is a favourite artist of mine...I picked her right from the blind auditions on Season 5 of The Voice to win it all, so when I heard she was coming to Toronto, I got my tickets ASAP. But.....she was sabotaged by horrendous sound...I mean, there was FEEDBACK at The Sony Centre...possibly one of the best sounding and easiest places to mix sound in Toronto. Several years ago, I attended a Bonnie Raitt/Bruce Hornsby concert there, and the sound was impeccable...same with Tom Jones. The opening act consisted of a female singer lip-synching/singing along with herself on a prerecorded track, with two female dancers beside her. Nice looking, but that was it. Then, they had a raffle draw, like the concert was being held in some church basement, complete with a drum on stage to pick the ticket.. Initially, the sound was passable, but then got worse as the sound engineer pushed the mid-range far too much. At least Tessanne was in good voice, and I enjoyed her "duet" with The Canadian Tenors. Tess...I wish you well, but pick more seasoned management/producers to work with next time.

Tessanne Chin was amazing!! Beautiful voice and a humble performer!! Would definatly recommend to see her and hope that she will come back to Toronto soon. Her opening singer Kim Davis was also great!

The night was more than I expected. Jay was so funny. Kim Davis was amazing. Tessanne was out of this world. She is so down to earth and I hope she goes far with her talent. I could not ask for a better night out.
