I can't say a bad thing about the Go-Go New Music Day show! I took my husband for his birthday and he loved it, WE loved it! Every band was perfect. I hope that they continue to have these shows annually because we will be back.

I love go-go, especially the Chuck Brown Band. I thought the entire show was fabulous, though the Junkyard Band seemed to play too long. It was weird when they dropped the curtain on them while they were still performing. EU opened the night. They killed it! JYB came on next and did a good job, though they were very loud. The night was capped by the CB Band. They delivered in spectacular form. They played many of the old favorites plus a brand new song. All in all, a great show. I LOVED IT. Let's keep Chuck Brown's Legacy Go-going!

The show was cranking from the opening act Black Alley until when the Chuck Brown Band came on. It was an old school go-go. It was the place to be that night.

The show was GREAT!!! I was on the floor all night and felt like I was 18 again. It was great to party with people who love the same type of music as you do. I can't wait until next year when they return.

The show was turnt up. It was a non stop old fashion Chuck Brown Party! This was the first time I heard the band without Chuck, they were great. I've been tyring to find out where tthey are going to be performing next. The only reason I gave it 4 stars because it was not organize getting into the venue. The doors were supposed to open at 11pm. The doors didn't open until 11:30pm. The band didn't get on stage until 12:30am but it was worth the wait.

The crowd was great. It was good to see all of the DC Go-Go band legends come out to pay homage to such a great legend and musician, Chuck Brown.

Ain't no party like a Chuck Brown cuz a Chuck Brown Party don't stop! Roy Ayers paid tribute and that was such an honor. KK and the band did their thing! She is certainly carrying on for her Daddy.
