Ted Nugent

Ted can still make a guitar scream. If you know Uncle Ted, he uses the F word often and may not be suitable for certain ages. Also he is an avid hunter and pro Trump, although I may not agree with some of his view points, I still went for the music which was intoxicating. The crowd stood the entire show and I had a great time.

Ted Nugent was just as good yesterday as he was 20 years ago when I saw him at the Oakland Colosseum. 61 years old and he still rocks. He looks great and sounds great. He hasn't lost a beat in his guitar playing. Loved the concert.

Excellent concert! - Ted has never done a bad one. Your seating sucks - even the gold which we had was crowded and positioned awkwardly.

Anyone who hasn't seen Uncle Ted live should see him. He hasn't skipped a beat.

What's to say? Ted was simply amazing. Started the show with "The Star Spangled Banner", and played all his classics, including "Stranglehold", "Cat Scratch Fever", "Wang Dang, Sweet Tang", and "Wango Tango". Stage was filled with some of his guns, and as always, Ted spouted off about things he disliked about the White House and the gov't. I would highly recommend seeing Ted to anyone who never has!!!

From begining to end it was nonstop barage of grat riffs and just total energetic mayhem!

My husband and I just moved to Boston from Detroit, and it was GREAT to hear Ted's classics. His banter is hilarious no matter WHICH side of the polical fence you stand. He's just so OVER THE TOP!! His voice is starting to go, but his bass player was great and allowed Ted to play some AWESOME guitar. House of Blues Boston is a great venue for a up-close, intimate concert. My husband last saw Ted at Cobo Arena in Detroit where he could NEVER get as close to the stage.

Ted should mleave the politics out of the show!!!!!!

God Bless America and the next president of the United States of America Uncle Ted Nugent. From the opening flurry of the Star Spangled Banner to the closing rave of Great White Buffalo, Uncle Ted delivered. His playing has never been better and the support of his band was simply powerful. Absoultely terrific. Happy Difiance Day to all who attended. Those that do not know Ted;s politics were offended, left and that's too bad because Ted may be on the far side, but not too far from my side and the side of what needs to be done to put America back on top. Stormtroopin as the Snakeskin Cowboy, Ted took Boston into the eye of one of his many machine guns and fired away. Highlights were his covers of Soul Man (never knew Ted grew up in Michigan as a "little black boy")and the Kinks You Really Got Me. Of his songs my favorites were played to perfection with huge nuge solos, including Cat Scratch Fever, Wango Tango and Stranglehood.

Ted Nugent showed the crowd at the House of Blues (which sadly enough was only half capacity) how it is done. From the opening number "Stormtroopin" to the smoking hot "Stranglehold" Ted showed the youngsters how good old fashioned, ear splitting, in your face rock and roll should be played! He played all the crowd favorites but the show lagged a little when he played some other songs the crowd did not know midway through his set, but the crowd bounced back when he played a rocking rendition of Soul Man! As usual Ted peppered the crowd with political rants that most of the crowd agreed with as well as this reviewer! Ted has a lot of frustration built up and luckily for us he takes it out on his trademark guitar!

No shortage of energy and volume here -- WOW! I see a lot of shows, but this was one of the most entertaining shows I've seen in a long time. Ted can play -- and keep an audience on their toes. His show is not for the weak -- or the liberals. I hope he visits Boston again.

Uncle Ted was on fire in Boston last night. Every song was over the top guitar playing and so was his rapping! He is an incredible guitarist and showman! Great backing band also. I first saw him in 1978, he's even better now! Thanks Uncle Ted!

I was at the Ted Nugent concert last night and he really blew me away with his performance!!! I loved how he covered so much material from his past to the present---all my favorite songs were done as well as others I didn't think I would ever see him do live but he pulled it off!!!

A real treat- Ted Nugent at a small venue like the Canyon Club. Surpassed my expectations on many levels and spent most of the show with my jaw dropped- the Motor City Madman cranking 5 feet away from me. The band members were incredibly tight and the 3 appeared to genuinely have a blast cranking some legendary tunes. Uncle Ted was spot on about our incredibly inept California Senators and laws, Nugent for California Governor or US President any day!

i drove an hour to make this...and he was so worth it. it was an amazing show. loved his energy and music.

Ted Nugent ranks near the pinnacle for rock and roll entertainment value. He can't stop moving, nor playing, usually on one of his vintage Gibson Byrdland guitars. Typically his outdoor concerts attract a high percentage of families with young children, despite the fact the Nuge is pretty much guaranteed to throw profanity into nearly every sentence. His stage is decorated with the memorabilia of his lifestyle, including firearms of nearly every description, animal skulls, military insignia, etc., along with a wall of Peavey 5120 amps. Ear plugs are NOT a sign of weakness at a Nugent concert. Especially if you wear camo.

Love his passion for this country, 2nd amendment and his talent at 69yrs young.

Loved the show. First saw Ted when he was 31. Now he s almost 70 and he can still rock with the best of them! A little disappointed with the concert venue. We loved the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel, but Sound Waves still needs an upgrade.

Ted is amazing. Venue is nice and everything is conveniently located. Opening bands played a little longer than we hoped. Perfect night.

We have always liked Ted Nugent and we seen him at River City Casino in St Louis ,MO. ,,this was our 3rd concert at the casino,,, River City Casino is our favorite place to see a concert!!

Penn s Peak was an excellent venue for Ted Nugent! You could be close like me in the 2nd row or up in box seats and have a great view! I have waited my whole life to see Ted Nugent and was awe inspiring and wailed his guitar better than any guitarist I have seen!

Ted Nugent was great as usual. I first saw him at the Superbowl of Rock at Soldiers Field in July of 1977. He was great then and he is still the same after all of these years. Ted is great performer. He knows how to get his audience into the concert.

Ted put on an amazing show! Lots of crowd banter, the classics, a few great new ones and as expected, outstanding guitar playing throughout the night. The venue had great sight lines but overall was very crowded and after spending $$$ on a very average required dinner if sitting at table - saw many others who did not buy required dinner . But great show by Ted!

Ted was over the top this time. A true American hero! Great show and a must see!

Ted is starting to show a little age, but he's still our Uncle Ted. He's one of the original loud rock n' roll guitar players and he still kicks butt. Derek St. Holmes is with him and that's always a plus.

I took my husband to see Ted Nugent, for our 33rd anniversary. He loves Ted. His political beliefs, hunting, and of course, his music. My husband is also friends with him on FB. This was the perfect gift. Teds guitar playing is phenomenal. We couldn't get enough of him. Thank you, Ted, for coming to the Packard Music Hall and putting on this fantastic concert.

Great concert once again! Fantastic seating in the Turning Stone Showroom ! Best place for any concert. Uncle Ted was non-stop hard rock. Derek St. Holmes sings like he's never ever aged at all, Amazing! The Nuge was hilarious with his political views. Ted's band is right on and better then ever. If you want a great rock show, see Ted Nugent with his rockin' band members, Derek St. Holmes, Greg Smith booming base and wild Mick Brown pounding the drum kit. I can't wait to see them again.

I was totally amazed at all of his fans that show up every year. Went with my son & his friend. Uncle Ted was FANTASTIC. Met up with an old friend who I haven't seen in some time. My friend dropped his sunglasses down the back about 30 feet down & some young lady went & got tem for him. That is what Uncle Ted's fans are. FAMILY. Keep on Rockin' Uncle Ted & Hope next year you will be back for your 70th Birthday ! God Bless.

A limitless red white and blue powered performance

The outdoor venue at Hoosier Park for concerts is great! It was well organized and run. Ted Nugent still has it at 68 years young!

60 years old, I've seen a few concerts. One of the best I've ever seen. Perfect venue size, sounded great!!

Besides having to deal with the Neanderthal mindset that Trump is the greatest president ever, I tried to shut that out and focus on the music. Which was hard to do. Ted's guitar sound was horrible. Time for a new sound. Vocals were great.

Passionate, brilliant, high energy, old school rock n roll performance. A perfect amount of kick ass attitude. Played his ass off from start to finish. Sweat dripping into his guitar. 69 years old and rocks harder than guys half his age.

Great white, was the best of the three bands they should have been the headliner. Blue Oyster Cult should have played more of their hit songs that's what people come to hear. Now Ted Nugent what can I say he can still play guitar. At 69 and a half years of age he should know that people want to hear his hits and not just a bunch of jamming on a guitar. Too much political rhetoric I paid to hear your music from albums in the past enough said.

Plenty of energy and music as only TED NUGENT can bring!

Ted Nugent was the top grossing hard rock artist in the late 70's. His band was fantastic and Derek St.Holmes was the voice of that dominant period. Derek rejoined Ted for the summer in 2012 and again this year in 2013. With Derek on vocals, Ted has the freedom to concentrate on the Byrdland and other stringed instruments of choice and volume. Greg Smith on bass and Mick Brown on drums add to what is for my $80 (took my 19 yr old son) the tightest hard rock band on tour this year or any other. Turning stone theater venue was ideal for the show. It was load, that's mandatory -rock and roll, but not so loud that the vocals were overpowered. This was the Ted Nugent concert that I had wanted to see for the past 10 years, since I started attending concerts again. I have seen Uncle Ted several times since 2003 but never with Derek St. Holmes on rythm guitar and sharing lead vocals. This allowed songs from the 1977 Cat Scratch Fever album to come to life. Turn it Up, Live it Up, Wang Dang and Cat Scratch were all done. That's half of that classic album. Dereks voice also allowed Storm Troopin', Queen of the Forest, Hey Baby, Just what the Doctor Ordered and of course Stranglehold to be performed as created back on that magical 1975 album and Ted's first solo effort "Ted Nugent". So more than half of this disk was performed as well. And the show kicked off with Gonzo! It was a great show.

There never seemed to be much in the way of chemistry within the band. Lots of random jams on pretty obscure songs and it never seemed to get out of second gear. There was plenty of smoke coming off Teds guitar, but the show just never caught fire.

The best show I've seen in years, Ted rocked the Ryman! The event staff were very polite and curtious friendly. Sound was wonderful but the loudest that I've seen for Uncle Ted.

Ted Nugent was GREAT, made me remember why concerts are fun to go to, really gets the audience into the show by interacting with the people. Played none stop for 1.5 hours and the opening Band, OTI, was really good

Ted really outdid himself with this show. I saw him three years ago in Philly and it was a very good show. But this show was unbelievable! I got there early and got a good spot right in front of the stage and the energy level was great. It's really hard to believe that e is 64 years old because he and his whole act were up there with the energy level of a bunch of 30 year olds! Anyway, I enjoyed every moment of this show and was sad when it was over.

The show was awesome. Nothing more to say. The venue was excellent. I will see this show until he either dies or stops touring or I die.

This is the 1st time me and my gf tammy got to see Ted Nugent he was killer and we go see him the next time he plays hampton beach.

This was the fourth time I have seen Ted Nugent live.First time was at CalJam 2 in 1978. He has matured, honed his act and become even more opinionated.His guitar mastery has just gotten better over the years and he doesn't look or act anywhere close to his 69 years. He is a true American all the way to his bones. I wish more of today's artists would take a hint from Uncle Ted's love for his country and follow his lead.

He sounded GREAT and his song selection was also GREAT.. Will see him again if he comes around !!

In my 57 years, this by far was the worst venue to see a concert and Nugent cared more about wasting time making political statements instead of being a musician.

Venue was perfect, great close parking, nice full bar, everyone was very nice. But.... TED rocked the place down, from beginning to end his concert was the best I've ever seen. The Cave in Big Bear, Ca only holds about 650 people so there is NOT a bad seat in the house... The cons of show, no bags or purses were allowed (everything you took in had to be in your pockets) made it bad for some who walked to show or were on a bike or open jeep. But the show and venue were top notch in every way. Loved it, and I will be back.Rock on Ted and never back down from what you stand for!!!

Went to see Ted Nugent at Hampton Beach casino ballroom in New Hampshire. Having met him in the past and as a long time fan,hunter,and ardent Uncle Ted supporter I am grosslly disappointed!!!! As myself and maybe 15 other fans waited near the back stage entrance hoping for an autograph or even just a hearty "thanks for coming to the show" he sauntered by with both middle fingers in the air saying "like I have time for that". Having spent my hard earned money to attend many of his concerts I unfortunatly have decided that night will be my last !! Every show I have attended was with at least 6-10 of my friends that also spent their hard earned money to see him play. Being a person that agrees with and appreciates his staunch support of freedom and what is right, I have continuously defended and spread his political views with vigor and heart ! After being treated in such a way I can't help but think he is just another elitist jerk that has no appreciation for the very fans that support him and helped him to be where he is !!!

Ted Nugent finally cuts down on his annoying political rants and gets down to playing guitar !!! A few old rarely played songs made it into the set. The set list was different from the Canyon Club gig on June 28th...so it was a fresh and energetic and FUN evening. The only NEGATIVE....is the food at The ROSE is horrible. Its the same mediocre food as Canyon Club. Order the safe bet: wedge salad and baked potatoe/

Nugent was spot on this evening and left out the political commentary so fun was had by all. He played a lot of songs he normally doesnt do live (good friends and a bottle of wine). Seats were awesome. Dinner was the worst food on the planet. Drink service is also horrible...long wait times and a staff that gets 20% no matter how long you wait.

This was first experience with a cabaret style concert. It was a bit odd for me to see a true rock performer while seated at a dinner table. The crowd was mixed. Are we that old? I prefer the theatre shows like the Troc, Tower or Electric Factory. If I go back to a casino concert it'll be a venue like House of Blues. My daughter enjoyed her first Nugent show. He certainly put on a good show. We enjoyed the older works on the set list with Derek St. Holmes. I haven't heard many of those in the live shows over the past 15-20 years. One disappointment we had was no bow and arrow shot. I also took notice that there were none of the traditional firearms on stage. Maybe because it was Jersey? I was also disappointed that he didn't include "Kiss My Ass" in the set list. We were pleased to hear the National Anthem near the conclusion of the show. God bless Ted. God bless the USA.

Treacherous Theordore may be getting up there in age but he still rocks like it's still the 70s. I saw sweat drip off his knuckles. He played his soul out on that stage and I could feel it in the air around us.

Another amazing show by Uncle Ted and I have to say that NO ONE rocks like he does these days. Pure, clean rock-n-roll sound and he's as good if not better then he was "back in the day"! Beware though if you plan on bringing your kids, this is a venue they'll never forget! If you don't want them to learn about politics or the American Freedom and what it's like to rock for a living, DON"T BRING THEM! Also, if you're vegetarian, put your feelings in your back pocket! AMAZING and i'll keep on seeing him and his band until they can't do it anymore!

The acoustics at the EQC were really bad. Or maybe Ted is just getting old. Idk but it sounded terrible.

All three bands were great. I was especially impressed with how good REO Speedwagon and Styx sounded. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the show was too short. Three huge bands and only 4 hours? They were done by 11:00pm. Ozzy is as old as these guys and played for three hours after the opening bands. Same thing with Sammy!

Best show I've been to this year!! Uncle Ted hasn't lost his touch since I saw him last in the late '70's. GREAT showmanship! EXCELLENT still on the guitar!! This show was exceptional with Derek St. Holmes back with Ted. The whole show deserves above a 5 star rating!!!

Have seen 'em all before so there were no surprises. Just a good solid show to see! The only problem was that Ted went on last and was too loud! I've been to 5 Ted shows and a hundred other loud band concerts but this was "distortion" loud, with reverb & feedback! Somebody shoulda' said something to the soundboard guy. I was moving around the arena taking pictures and passed a couple thousand people leaving because of it...

None of the ushers seemed to know where we were supposed to sit. We spent half an hour going from one row to another interrupting people. They had us a whole section back from where we were supposed to be. You try to seat too many people in one row on the floor. Every isle had people in it because there wasn't room. Greedy...take out a seat or 2 geez!

this concert was awesome!! styx is my favorite,,, the other 2 were a bonus! nugent didn't even suck like I expected. I would definitely go to this venue again.

This by far exceeded my expectations , having never seen any of the bands before and a huge fan of tommy shaw , i was beside myself , I drove 2 hrs for event and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Bought a ticket to see Ted, REO and Styx @ Godmann airfield. Because of Ted's comments about our President the Army Brass canceled his show and boooked BOC instead. I returned my ticket for that concert. When Ted booked Belterra I bought a ticket and am glad I did!!!! This was one of the best concerts that I have been to, it was a small venue and the sound and Ted and the band were excellent!!! I saw Ted when he was with the Damn Yankees in Las Vegas but never just his band!!!! Ted for President!!!!

The warm up band was amatuer, I think more guys liked looking at the lead singer then listening to her. When uncle Ted came on it was Awsome. I felt twenty years younger. I was so amped up after his show I could not get to sleep for hours. He is just as good as he always was. Would see him anytime.

From the time Uncle Ted hit the stage with the Star Spangled Banner, until he left dripping in sweat 90 minutes later to the crushing riffs of Great White Buffalo, the adrenaline was pumping! If you never saw this American Rock icon...go now...buy your tickets and be prepared for some high octane fun! Ted plays in a tight power trio these days. Awesome band!

Seeing Ted Nugent has always been a dream of mine and the show at The Hard Rock Live was everything I thought it would be......and more...... much more!!!!! He STILL puts on an ultra high energy show and I'd certainly recomend seeing him to anyone!!

The Nuge Still Kicks Ass !!! Tremendous Show. Saw him for the first time in 1978. This show in 2010 was just as good and in some ways much better. Would go again tomorrow if I could. About the 3rd or 4th song into the show --------Derek St. Holmes strolls on stage then plays & sings the rest of the night, Damn he can still blow, he still hits all the high notes with no problem !!!!! With Ted's playing and Derek's singing It sounded just like old times. More than 2 hours of The Motor City Madman rocking the place. Oh By the way STRANGLEHOLD WAS GREAT followed by The Great White Buffalo for an encore For my son's 18th birthday I surprised him with a Meet & Greet before the show with Ted. A wonderful treat for both of us. Not the typical quick picture most artist offer, we kicked back on a sofa & talked for about 45 minutes, plus he also had many surprise gifts all laid out & waiting for us. His meet & greet is more than worth the price if you ever get the chance DO IT !!!! You won't be sorry. If Ted's playing anywhere near you GO get some tickets~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It was my first time inside the Wildhorse, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Uncle Ted was just SMOKIN'!!!! Opened with "Star Spangled Banner" played on his Les Paul painted like the U.S. flag, then ripped into "Wango Tango/You really got me"...played a lot of his old hits and some new stuff too, including "Soul Man". Toward the end, his original lead Singer, Derek St. Holmes joined him onstage playing several of the classic Nugent songs. It was great to see them onstage together again!!!! For a guy who is 62 years old, Nugent was ripping it up like back in the 80's! I also noticed he is doing great after knee replacement, moving around the stage a lot, (though not jumping off amps these days...LOL!!!) All said, it was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time!!! As several people said after the show, "We're not going to see this kind of music much longer". GREAT CLASSIC NUGE!!!!!!!!!!!

As usual, Ted Nugent brought the roof down at Penn's Peak. One of my all time favorite acts, he never fails to disappoint. His guitar playing still inspires my playing as if it was the first time I ever heard his music. Also, the age range in his crowd is something to see. Ages from 10 to 60 always fill out the crowd. Nothing like singing along to 'Just What the Dr. Ordered' with a 10 year kid !! Can't wait for next summer to see if he stops here again !!!

The last time I saw Uncle Ted was in Detroit at Cobo hall back in 78 or 79. A LONG time ago. As a Detroit native I may be a little biased but i have to say, there aren't many 62 year old guys who still have the chops and can play the chords like good Ol' Uncle Ted! He played some patriotic riffs, some blues, and good old rock and roll. He played some of his best...Stormtroopin' Free For All, Wango Tango, Great White Buffalo etc. The crowd was definately into it and with me being up front, it was certainly a thrill to see this guy again. Warm up band, Val Halla, wasn't to shabby either. I enjoyed their energy and the femal lead volcalist was just outstanding. What was really cool was that I took a couple of younger freinds who had never seen them before. It was great to introduce them to one of the best guitar players EVER!

Yes 40 years of rockin, 6000+ shows, chalk it up too experiance, this guy can rock & roll still no doubt, catch him in the small venues & see him up close & yes he speaks his mind. The band behind him Kicks, "Greg & Mick" this is all he needs.
