Really enjoyed the concert in Boston on March 22nd/2018. Good mix of old a new songs, kept audience engaged and showed best of himself.

The concert was excellent. High quality music and musisions. The only thing that bothered my and my party - people sitting on the stage. It was destructive and awkward . I wish I would never see this happening again

I will not judge Andrey's Makarevich vocal abilities , but overall impression of his performance and appearance is very poor. Short guy, with " beer" belly in cheap black suit with green socks singing well known English language songs instead of his own Russian songs. I think he wanted impress the public by his knowledge of English. His Trio was pretending playing Jazz. The only bright moment in this so called performance was his backup singers. Don't waste your time and money.

Performance in San Francisco of this concert was very dull and disappointing. Mararevich sang about 7 or so songs during his performance and he looked like he did not even wanted to be there. A Capella Express team made this concert much better and very skillful jazz band helped out a lot too. If you don't go, you will not miss anything.

It is always interesting to see your favorite musician do completely different material in a different format - will it work? Here's an old-school rocker playing Jazz - and with an excellent band too! I have thoroughly enjoyed the sold-out concert, although the sound on the balcony was not as good as it should have been - not sure if this is the venue (first time there), or the sound guys...

In spite of lack of Makar's songs presence in the show, it was still a great opportunity to see him. It was probably not easy for him to arrange this trip considering situation in his country. I just wish he sang at least a song or two with guitar only! And maybe at least one old song? I bet the audience would sing along! It would leave unforgettable memories for all of us. Good luck, Makar. Be safe and come back again with a bigger program.

I came to NY concert all the way from Florida and was a bit disappointed. It's basically concert of a jazz band, not Makar's. His name was used to sell the tickets. He sang a few of his new songs, but I couldn't even make out the words because jazz accompaniment was overwhelming. Couldn't see his face either as he had a black hat on and I set in top row. It was nice to hear his voice again, that's it. But I could have played a record in my car instead. Sound engineering really sucked: the operator could not keep right balance of voice and music, considering Makar has not as strong voice as "opera" ladies. Maybe the old building and weird acoustics was a problem too. Jazz band is probably a great one, but I am not a jazz fan. The girls have unique and strong voices, very professional music. But again, good for those who enjoys jazz. I came to listen to Makar and to what he has to say, but couldn't hear his words. What's the point then?

A moment of unity of audience and performers, a mixture of nostalgia and novelty in repertuar. which made a time go by unnoticeable

Some of the musicians were good - especially the pianist (it was apparently a general opinion since he received the most applauses at the end of the show). All three singers had extremely low voice strengths - they were hardly heard. Overall, the stage sound had not been tuned/regulated well at all - and it was extremely strange these days not to see the sound operator regulating the microphones. This band had full audience mainly due to the "nostalgic memories" of certain population, but this performance had not come too close to the American jazz professionals. Also, people were let into the theater less than 30 minutes before the beginning of performance; there were only two doors open, which made the moment of entering the theater overall crowded and unpleasant.
