Arashi

I've been a fan of Arashi for over 11 years and have waited a long time for them to come back to the USA. I've been to dozens of concerts over the years and I must say, this is the BEST concert I've ever experienced in my life! Fireworks, pyrotechnics, a clear-bottom moving stage so you can see the guys perform from underneath and, of course, the wonderful and talented ARASHI! I was awed and moved by their showmanship and connection to us fans. They are as magical and amazing in person as they are in the DVD concerts. I am very thankful to have been able to see these great guys in concert and I truly hope they come back to the USA again sooner than 15 years! Otherwise, I'll just have to learn Japanese and go see them in Japan! Arashi, Arashi for dream! Much love from a USA California fan!

Worth every penny of the admission ticket. Too bad you can't see them again in America. Would be worth trying to catch them in Japan; however, you will not get as close up to them as you could here in Hawaii! Awesome!!

Literally one of the best concerts I've gone to. Venue needs to handle crowds better though.

Overall the event was very well organized. Excellent entertainment value. Stage and lighting spectacular.

Concert itself was so great. However, it was super worst for admission to the waiting time of admission before. In order to wait for a long time under the hot sun, you do not make the admission limit, was allowed to admission the many at a time It leads to chaos, who do not miss the concert start result also came out.

They really came close to me! We were so excited and enjoyed.

This concert was amazing. The singing and dancing was of course great and the stage and special effects was amazing. They went all out, and it was truly a fun event! I hope they come back again <3 even if for a moment, I felt like I went back to high school and didn't have a care in the world! What I love about the moving stage is that at some point, everyone got great seats!!!

Although entering the concert was sooo difficult with crazed people, once I was inside and concert has started, I was just in a constant amazment! I've been Arashi fan for more than 10 years and was finally able to see them with my own eyes. Nothing can be compared to the actual people! Concert was great, but getting people in was horrible and tought they needed to be more organized.

I've been into Arashi for years and years, listening to their new singles as they come out. When I went to Japan about 5 years ago, I just had to buy a singles CD at Tower Records (in the past, I wished Tower Records had a better selection of international music) as a memento. My friends and I would love to be able to go to more Arashi concerts, but the difficulty and cost for a US college student to get a ticket is just too great. It was a godsend when we heard that locals were able to attend a concert! We all bought our tickets the minute the chance opened. The concert itself was amazing!! Great effects, great singing, great-looking Arashi and their costumes, the rain, great atmosphere, great stage, everything was superb. The only downside was the organization outside the event, i.e. getting into the stage area. I believe there was a line at some point, but when people saw the fans go in, it all became a mob. Maybe set up rails or a rope line throughout the waiting area and tarp tents to keep sanity in the sun.

IT WAS AMAZING. BEST CONCERT I ever been to. Arriving in helicopter to moving stage and fireworks. it was just AMAZING!

Even though it rained heavily during the event, the performance was awesome, especially when singing "Monster" ! Would definitely go if Arashi comes again!!!

I thought that the first night couldn't be improved upon, but with the aid of a total downpour, Arashi made it happen. If I could give this event more than five stars, I would.

Arashi brought so much energy and joy to their first concert in Hawaii. It was my first time seeing them, and I couldn't have been more fulfilled. They pulled out all the stops with one goal: to make everyone in the audience happy.

There are no words except- ARASHI, FEEL FREE TO COME BACK TO HONOLULU!!! I went to the Friday concert so I heard that it was less chaotic than the Saturday concert. It was my first time at a concert and the adrenaline that the concert brought me was incomparable to anything I ever felt before. I had a great view of the entire show and got to see my favorite members up close!!! And I even got to keep the chair afterwards!!! I'm still in awe that I got to see Arashi so all I can say is that I'm fully satisfied right now~

concert was great. but the waiting line to the entrance was not organized and chaos Let us bring our own water bottles, water is very important. My friend could not buy ARASHI water there due to out of stock. OMG. Too bad.

It was amazing!!! Everything was so good!! I'm super lucky person that I could be there!!! I could spend presidiums time.

I flew 13 hours just to see this show. It may sounds crazy but it was worth it!! If I didn't I would regret rest of my life. They were moving around during the show so I could see them real close! They played old songs and new songs. Yes, Shou-kun, I'm so glad being Arashi's fan. See you guys in Japan!! I'd been waiting over an hour to get inside but when I got inside the show was already started. The gate should have been opened more than an hour before.

Perfect, perfect, perfect!!! The site, sound, stage, lights, moving stage, overal production. Great job, Mr. Moffat! And of course, Miss J. K! And boys, OMG MY boys, who had given 100% to us! I laughed, I cried, I danced like there is no tomorrow!

I'm really glad I went to Arashi Blast in Hawaii concert! It was my first time going to Arashi concert so I was very excited! They are very entertaining and $165 ticket was WORTH IT!!! They showed us many surprises and I had so much fun!!! I really loved their moving stages because I got to see them up close. They brought high tech quality stages from Japan and I was very amazed! Their dances were great and I loved all of their songs!! I would love to go to their concert again if they come here again! Actually, I REALLY WANT THEM TO COME AGAIN!!!! As soon as possible :)

Most amazing concert I attended in my life. The stages and moving stages were the best. The fans in the back got to see them up close. Japanese fans were great, which you would not see in America. My two complaints were they should have opened the parking early to accommodate the fans going early to stand in line. Maybe open the parking at 9:00 a.m. Almost missed the beginning because I was in the long line to get to the gate. They should have opened the gate earlier. Instead of at 4:30 maybe 3:30.

-Arashi was AMAZING and I absolutely loved everything about the concert. The performance and additions like free lei with a charm and free souvenir chair to sit in were great. I loved all the fireworks throughout the performance. I was so happy that every seat was a great seat because they moved throughout the venue to different stages, rolled on moving carts, and even the moving stage that went over the audience. -Before the concert on Friday it was great, everyone followed the line to get inside and everyone was polite despite the heat of the sun baking us all (at least, for me and my group, I'm hearing otherwise now). I wish the management of the line had been better for both days. It was too easy for people to cut in and go ahead of others who had waited much longer to get in.

First time to see Japanese boys group. Now I'm fan!! Great music&performance. Beautiful stage!! Once in a life time!!!!!!!

This concert was really wonderful. It's beyond words. I really appreciate everyone who made this happen.

Wasn't sure what to expect since it was an outdoor concert with a custom-built stage... But it was amazing! The show itself was stunning and ARASHI really went all out, with different aspects that gave all fans some closeness to the group. (+) Production was amazing. Helicopters, moving stage parts, fireworks, lights and much more! Though there were no chairs plainly set up (no assigned seating), folding chairs were provided (that were great souveniers as well) so people could set them selves up in their designated seating area. I think it was well worth it. While the stage was enormous, the multitude of screens (often with lyrics) provided excellent close-up views of the members. I appreciate the effort taken in amount of outfits, dancing, and songs performed in this anniversary concert. (-) Unfortunately it was a rainy weekend, and as the concert was outdoors on the lagoon lawn, everyone watching got drenched. Plus, the ground was mostly dirt so it became a large muddy patch as everyone tried to exit the area. The only other bad aspect of the concert was entering the area -- there were no distinct lines and only one general public entrance, making it difficult to enter. It was pretty chaotic outside but once you got in to the area, ticket reading & purchase was speedy... Plus everyone got a lei with a cute ARASHI logo charm!

Second day @ Hawaii for this wonderful concert - everything was fantastic even we got hit by the pouring rain. It's such an unique and unforgettable experience for me. Thank you for making it happen and bring arashi live concert to US. If there is any other arashi concert(s) held at US in the future, I will definitely go no matter how far it might be (actually I flew all the way from Boston to Hawaii for this concert and only stayed there for the weekends. Totally worth it!) Again, amazing concert! Love it and looking forward to future concerts at US too! f

Concert itself was very exciting and I really enjoyed. However, waiting and entering to the gate for the concert was terrible!!!

How lovely and cool the event was. I remember the opening when the member came from the sky! Even heavy rain during the stage empowered the member and the audience.

I had great time. I wish they can come to Hawaii every year.

We arrived at the venue several hours early. There was a fan club members only area with cardboard cutouts of the members that you could take pictures with. Concert T-shirts and the yacht Arashi debuted on were on display. I was kind of disappointed that they were basically discriminating against foreign fans, but I just told myself that it wasn't Arashi's personal decision. There was a booth set up selling concert goods and bottles of Arashi water. We got in the Ticketmaster line which was about five blocks long and I was surprised at how well we organized ourselves. (The local staff was absolutely no help, but more about that on Day 2...) Ticketmaster had to stand for several hours, but fan club members got their chairs in advance and entered the venue before us... However, the wait wasn't too bad because we met some nice fans from California and chit chatted about our favorite members, songs, dramas etc. At 4:30PM the gates opened and the line moved smoothly and swiftly. We got our tickets and chairs, snuck some pictures with some more cardboard cutouts, and were presented with leis from the members! The concert itself was perfect. I could write pages about it, but I'll leave it at that. Looking forward to the DVD. It took ages to empty the parking lot. We saw many cars drive past with people waving their penlights in the back seat. I guess they were still having their own private concerts. Haha The concert took place on a dirt lot and our shoes were covered in the red, volcanic dirt on Day 1. We thought that was bad, but after the rain on Day 2 they had several centimeters of red mud caked onto the bottom. It was pretty gross, but I'm actually glad I got to experience an Arashi concert in the rain! The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that they didn't sing solos, but I still had the best time of my life! Since they live streamed both days in Japan I suppose it's possible that they recorded both, but I wonder which one they will use for the DVD? Day 1 Pros: The audience was really in sync and energetic. Ohno-kun cried. Cons: I think something was wrong with the mic/speaker settings. Ohno-kun and MatsuJun sounded like chipmunks. I wonder if they can fix this during editing? Nino was ill. I think it would be easy for them to edit this out if they wanted to though.

The show and concert itself was most excellent and one of the most memorable experiences ever. The moving stage and band members going around to give fans in different locations a chance to get close to them were so awesome. Not to mention the visual effects on the stages and the fireworks! Of course their ability to sing and dance live was most impressive. Any issues we had I'd blame Tom Moffatt Productions. This first day of the concert started before all the fans entered the area. There were also unfriendly staff/bouncer walking around threatening to kick us out of the concert simply because we couldn't fit into their drawn seating areas after being let in late.

All Arashi;s members were so great performers. I wish my seat was more closer to the main stage. however, i was so happy to see them in my own eyes! Please make it again ! I will take my family next time.!

Even with the horrible service from the staff/security during 9/20 line up, watching Arashi perform spectacularly made me forget about the troubles. Arashi is truly good at changing moods! I can't believe I flew all the way from Canada just to see them! :) Worth it! I just wished the staff/security were properly trained for these kinds of events.

I have always been a fan of Arashi ever since I first found out about them back in middle school. I'm full Japanese but never lived in Japan so I never imaged that I will ever have the opportunity to attend Arashi's concert my whole life. But the chances came around, and ticketmaster made it happen. The security and staff were horrible, to be honest. Everything was so unorganized, that there was major problem when the gates opened. But putting everything aside, the concert itself was just AMAZING. In no other Arashi concert, you will ever get to be so close to them in distance!! I have their concert DVDs at home and seen them numerous times but really, seeing them LIVE was such an indescribable feeling!! Tears of joy and excitement wouldn't stop overflowing and it became such an important part of my life and memory, that I was able to be part of this wonderful 15th anniversary concert. I just can't wait for this concert DVD to be released! It's such a blessing to have our Governor stating September 19th to officially be "Arashi Day"!! I hope that through this event, more people were able to get to know Arashi and what kind of people they are. It would be great if they can come back for their 20th Anniversary as well!

Rain and all, this concert was fun, fun, fun! Just amazing! Even though it was in a completely-from-scratch setting (aka open field), they still gave us a memorable show with all the bells and whistles--overhead entry by helicopter, moving stages and trolleys to be closer to fans, stages that went to different heights (so we shorter guests could get a great view of their actual faces not just on the monitors), tons of monitors, fireworks, and lights. The energy in the crowd and from them was just amazing. Their camaraderie, showmanship, and sincerity made up for any challenges that were experienced outside the venue before the show started. Although we got drenched during the show, it just made the whole experience even more surreal. Loved the local touches they added with local musicians and performers. If they make it back to Hawaii, you should definitely see them. I will!

Everything was perfect with the concert itself. It was way better than fantastic and what I expected. Best memory ever! The only bad thing was the organization. I thought it was unfair the treatment towards the people who were waiting for hours, but other than that, amazing.

performance was excellent but the physical layout outside the concert area was terrible. There were only 2 portatoilets to accommodate 15,000 fans waiting outside; I waited 40 minutes in line to use the toilet!! Then to get into the concert area, there was a mass of people crowded trying to get in and the crowd filtered into a single line with people shoving and pushing trying to get in one gate. People were yelling to open more gates but still remained calm. We were in line from 4 pm but did not get to our assigned area until 5:30 pm just in time to see the helicopter fly over. How can you ask to upload photos and videos when no cameras were allowed??? I did not sit in my area because it was full and had to find another open area.

Arashi Blast in Hawaii was simply AMAZING. Being a fan in the US can sometimes be hard because you never really get a chance to actually see them live (and also because you can't join the fan club if you're outside of Japan). But it was truly a dream come true to see them perform in that amazing stage and effects (fireworks, fire, water spray, etc.) Even in the pouring rain, it was totally worth the flight from NY to Hawaii just for the weekend. I really hope they come again to Hawaii, if not, to NY. I'm sure more fans would love to come out and support!

the greatest concert in Hawaii ever!. it was a dream come true for me. been waiting 10 years for them to return where they formed. I hope they come back for another concert or a rgular concert as they do in Japan and throughout Asia.

Too many words yet no words at all to describe it. It still doesn't seem real that I was there! There is nothing to say but a huge THANK YOU to everyone that made this event possible!! Also met some new friends; Arashi is great at bringing people from all over together.

The concert itself was unforgettable. Arashi has such great stage presence. They are extremely talented and it's evident that they work very hard. I went to Saturday's concert and when the rain came, they didn't seem fazed at all! I've admired them for 10 years and hope that they will be able to return again someday to Hawaii. My only concern was getting into the concert. Some of the security personnel were, at times, very rude. While there were fans who were unnecessarily upset, many situations could have been handled in a much more professional manner from both parties. Not only that, but getting into the concert should have been better organized. Seriously. There were no signs stating how to enter the concert, there were no staff updating the crowd on what was going on (only the very front of the line got their share of, "STOP PUSHING! FAMILY OR NOT, ONE AT A TIME" from very intimidating security). Yes, there were 15,000+ people attending this concert, but it shouldn't have been a surprise. There should have been updates for both the English speaking and Japanese speaking crowds throughout the line. I really did not appreciate the bottlenecking like an hourglass so that one person at a time was allowed to pass in order to walk through another line. Very poor organization. I'd rate that portion 2 stars. Arashi, however, completely deserves 5 stars and more. I would definitely go back to see them again. Hopefully ticket prices don't skyrocket as a result of the success of this concert.

We were fortunate we went on Friday when it did not rain. But I was impressed to hear that Arashi performed like it wasn't even raining on Saturday and the fans were diehard and stood watching and cheering in the rain. Anyway, Friday's show was amazing. Fireworks, pyrotechnics, moving mini and larger stages, sunset songs with a Hawaiian band, the complimentary Arashi lei and foldable chair... I am so glad I got to be part of Arashi's 15th anniversary in the place where it all started, Hawaii. If it wasn't for Arashi, I would not have visited that island. They were amazing! So many costume changes. That was my first time seeing it and I honored to have been a part of history.

Three hours honestly felt like thirty minutes. I never experienced time go by so quick. I was surprised and really glad when the stage had the famous 'moving stage' that most of the Arashi concerts have in Japan. I was able to see the group members unbelievably close! The mini individual stages were great too because the were even closer! Even though it rained, the fireworks and the fire worked like miracles. The songs were the ones I wanted to hear and the volume was perfect! I was afraid that it would be unbearably loud (past experience), but it was in the comfortable level for the ears. Their talk was very fun, and since I knew Japanese I was able to understand all. For those who are not fluent in Japanese will probably have to sit and wait for a few minutes. The one drawback was the line designated for the ticketmaster customers. There was only one row with the fence, so the other six or seven rows of people gradually shifted toward the fence, causing one large blob of people. We lined up from 10am-4pm, and we were in the second row (that didn't have the fence). So when the gates opened, people behind the fence cut in line, so we were not able to go cleanly. It would be nice if there were more fences, like the lines in amusements parks.

The concert was one of the greatest I've ever attended. Arashi was amazing with their choreography, singing and availability to the crowd. The arrival by helicopter was spectacular and set the tone for the evening. The stages moved back and forward, side-to-side and Arashi moved on them all around the venue. The music was great and I enjoyed it to the max. The downside was the lack of organization for getting into the concert and the lack of control when it came to seating. For some unknown reason they did not have line controls to get into the concert and collapsed what must have been 10 or twelve different lines into one large mob. So for people who arrived early and waited patiently inline they were now reduced to being members of the mob and were forced to be slowly funneled into the corrals. There were no marked seats in the different section so if you were in early you had your pick but if you were controlled by the mod then you came in late and had little in the way of choice for seating. Having a seat number was meaningless.

We enjoyed so much!! Arashi is great !! We love them very much because of their professional spirits. Even it started to rain they kept great performance. Amazing !!! We want to see them again in US!!!!

Three days have gone by, but I am still mesmerized by the magical performance by Arashi! I have been to their "brother-band's" performances numerous times in Tokyo, but this was simply the best~!! No doubt! I still feel like I am in a trance... on their magic spell! My girlfriend and I were extremely happy and beyond satisfaction as far as Arashi and their live concert are concerned. We felt privileged to be there as the band celebrated their 15th... at the place of their "birth" Hawai`i! We would definitely like to be their when they celebrate their 20th. Allow me to say though, Security was not adequate. We were among the fortunate ones to be able to get into the venue with a reasonable amount of wait time (which we were well prepared for). We felt sorry for the people that had been waiting from the morning but was not allowed entry until right before the show.
