I stumbled upon The Score while searching for another song on Spotify. I fell in love with Revolution and then the entire album. When I found out that they were coming to Kansas City, it was a no-brainer that I was going to get tickets. The venue is a wonderful size, very cozy and creates an immersive experience. It wasn't too hot or too cold. We arrived at the venue early enough to nab spots right next to the stage! The Westside Royals were a local band that opened for the show. They were very entertaining. If they hadn't mentioned it, I would have never known that their drummer was actually a group member standing in (and had recently received a crash course in drumming) for their actual drummer who was out of town. Castlecomer was definitely not a local band. Hailing from Australia, they were touring with The Score and I believe that Dec. 16th was their last show before going home for the holidays. I wish I would have known some of their songs beforehand, it would have made their performance even better. As such, they were fantastic! Lively, quirky, and genuinely nice guys. The Score was well worth the wait to see and I can't wait to see them again. They sound better live and they had such great energy. The nice thing about small venues, is that more than likely there is a chance that you are able to meet the artists. Westside Royals left almost immediately after they finished their set. Everyone from Castlecomer was extremely sweet, accommodating, and very easy to talk to. Eddie and Edan from The Score were swarmed by fans after their performance, but they made sure to make everyone feel special. The tickets were extremely affordable. It would be nice if tickets would cost this much as a standard, but I would be willing to pay more money in the future to be able to see both Castlecomer and The Score.

I became interested in the band while watching a Jeep commercial. I quickly got out Shazam to find out who was singing. Heard their music and was hooked. Bought tickets to their concert and was not disappointed. Great show and great guys!

Great new venue for house of blues. Moved from downtown Disney to a new shopping center mall, so it's bigger now. Concert was amazing, new band with first album that just came out. Best set ever!
