I'm glad I went to Jay Chou's concert, I waited half a decade to see Jay Chou perform and that only thing that I wished I should have done is buying the VIP seats so I could see him up close and not rely on the screens for close ups. The concert was about 3 hours and and it was delayed by 30 mins~ his guests were Cindy Yen, Gary Yang, Lara, and The Drifters. The only thing that bothered me was that the fans were pretty much dead, about 30% of the fans stood up and danced along to his music. I tried doing that twice and people asked me to sit down because they couldn't see. :(

First I thought tickets were very expensive (because I didn't know him 'til then) but after watched the show, I felt it's totally worth the money. It was amazing experience... didn't feel like it was just a music concert. It's more like going to Disneyland or watch circus/opera. Very talented man from Asia. I hope he will be back soon!

It was nice to count down with Jay Chou on the last day of 2010!! We paid over $600 for two tickets, but both felt the show worth the ticket price. But still, I wish I could choose my seat instead of the computer assigned one to me.

First of all, I would start off saying that for those of you who haven't gone to any of his concert, u should! I have been to a few: snoop dogg, linkin park, korn, etc....but Jay Chou, damn, its the best of the best! No stalling in between songs. I mean, other concerts, when the singer has to run to the back, the audience have to wait until everything is set up before the next song starts. Usually 10 to 15 mins. Jay's concert have other singers to fill in while he changes and its pretty cool because some of those singers are pretty popular too. Its amazing to get to see them too for the price you pay. The concert was exciting and alive. Cons: I wish they chosen a different place. Sports arena sucks and the workers give bad service there. Other than that, 2 thumbs up!

I ll get the few negatives out of the way first, one being the explosions during the show, especially the repeated ones at the opening of the concert. They were completely unnecessary and added absolutely nothing to the show other than to scare people and create a lot of indoor air pollution. Not to mention if I am going to lose my hearing I don t want to associate it for the rest of my life with Jay Chou. The only other negative being the placement of the video/projection screens. The screen blocked the view of the stage from the concourse level and was also too close to where we were sitting that you had to strain to see what was being shown on the screen. The screens would have been better placed upstage so that the view of the stage wasn t blocked by them and would have still been able to have been seen by everyone in the venue. Jay is the consummate musician, he had a live band with him which shouldn t have surprised me but it did. I would expect no less from him but it still came as a surprise that he went to that extent of brining a band to the U.S. for his concert. I m so use to artists these days singing to a recorded track that when an artist has a live band with them they really get my love. He also had backup dancers with him which was another surprise to me since I always think of him as a solo, do it all himself, artist. The dancers definitely lived up to Jay s standards, they were excellent and worked their butts off so it s too bad they didn t get introduced at some point so they could receive their due credit. The thing that has always attracted to me to Jay is his diverse music styles, he goes from ballads to rock to pop to rap and with such ease and skill. And on top of that he went from playing the piano to the guitar to the flute, again the ultimate musician. And his stage numbers went from featuring the grim reaper to Broadway style dance numbers, again showing his creative versatility. I was a bit disappointed that he made no effort to speak any English when he was talking to the audience or that he didn t have what he was saying translated into English. I would never expect an artist to translate their songs into English nor would I want that since I think the songs lose something by being translated but I do expect artists when they are performing in the U.S. to address their audience in English even if it s through a translator. I happened to arrive at the Sports Arena before they opened the doors and stood in line with many fans who were speaking Cantonese/English along with Mandarin/English speakers so those in attendance were not all Mandarin speakers. And I noticed when the other artists performed (although not a negative I could have done without them since it made for a long concert which seemed as if we saw as much of the other artists as we did of Jay but I suspect they are all artists that Jay represents and that s why they were included in the show) and would speak in English the crowd would roar in appreciation so obviously being spoken to in English was not a negative for the crowd. I do thank Cindy Yen for introducing herself in English so that those of us English speakers who wanted to know more about her were able later on to look her up on the internet.

Jay Chou put on an exceptional concert! The music was great and the performance was amazing. He always put so much thought in the experience of the audience and the effort shows. He's a great talent and I hope that he'll continue to hold concerts in LA (as opposed to Vegas like so many Asian musicians are doing). This concert was much better than his previous one 3 years ago, but I would say that the Incomparable Tour was the best among the 3 Jay Chou concerts that I attended. I must say though that the tickets are extremely expensive! Way too expensive. I paid close to $150 for nosebleed seats! I believe that's why the concert wasn't sold out. Had the prices been more reasonable, some of my friends who didn't attend would've attended. Also, traffic control was a failure. The parking lot was jammed after the concert and we did not move for about 15 minutes. It took about 30 minutes to get out. That's not acceptable.

Well we are among those fans that bought our ticket very early. There is no option for us to choose seat or whatever. We were just assigned to seat with the worse viewing angle, there is a huge flat screen blocking the view and we didnt event know what's happening on the curved big screen all the time. However, those guys who bought last minute ticket got super good deal and get assigned to a better seat with better viewing angles. The price was cut like half as we know at the end and the fans was not protected at all. I think most fans buy ticket in advance in stead of waiting for the last minute deal. There are like 50% seat empty with better viewing angle but we were just put at the worse place.

It was a great concert, despite our somewhat obstructed view. But the fireworks were too loud and scary for the audience, and people were coughing from the smoke. My camera even hit my face because the sound was so loud I jerked while holding my camera by the string that it hit my face. Staff at the event were a little rude, not allowing some audience to move to seats that were empty where the views were not obstructed. The placement of the 2 big screens was blocking a big part of the view for audiences on the sides, that was my main disappointment, paying $140 and you can hardly see much of the stage because the big screen was in the way. Also when we bought tickets we were not allowed to know what section the seats were, until after we paid. This is a very bad system of ordering tickets. The concert itself was great, Jay Chou sang a lot of songs and his fans are all very proud of him. We look forward to his movie premier monday at Mannes Chinese Theater, he is the pride of Asia!

The show was great and so were the effects, with fire, sound effects, and other things. But the seats were terrible! I did not get what I paid for!!! The seats were all the way to the side, and I can barely see the screen and the stage. It would have been ok if I bought the tickets for $88, because then I know I bought what I deserved! But in the beginning when I tried to buy them for $88, ticketmaster showed that they were sold out, it showed that my search didn't match, so I had to buy the $128 tickets. Even then I am ok with that, but then i read the 1/8/11 (concert date) paper the next day of the concert, I found out that they lower the prices, they should have told us or something!!! What about the poeple that bought the ticket for $128? And at the concert, I heard a lot of people complaining about the seats as well. I think whoever is responsible for arranging the seats should pay attention and improve. All I ask if is that I can see the stage with that price, is that too much to ask for? Jay Chou and his asscociates really worked hard on that show, and I appreciate all their efforts! Thanks!

Jay's concert was the best of 2010. I enjoyed every minute to countdown and he brought a whole new definition to creating a 3D concert. When he had some special effects facing the center of the stage, it was a bit difficult to see. I wish there are more display screens to see the center of the stage.I hope he comes back soon ^_^

Not familiar with Jay's songs, but enjoyed his concert, performance and songs. It would have been nice if he had included some dancing, because I know he can dance. Has a dry sense of humor, so it was entertaining seeing him joke around to interact with his audience. Good view, but Jay mostly stayed center stage or by the cameras on the other side. A little disappointed he didn't perform at our side that much.

This was my first time getting an opportunity to see jay Chou live. His music and stage performance was amazing. The most interesting thing that I enjoyed (besides the amazing music) was the use of a projector and stage props. If you missed thisconcert I recommend going out and trying to find a DVD. I hope jay Chou will be able to come to the states more and perform many more concerts.

After watching clips of his live performances in Asia on YouTube, I definitely had BIG expectations coming in! I was not disappointed! He performed a great variety of songs -- not only the new stuff, but a lot of older favorites as well! The only downside of watching his concert stateside versus in Asia is that it looks like the production is slightly smaller scale in that there are less dancers on stage and perhaps the stage size may also be smaller. Jay Chou is an absolute musical genius -- he's a great singer, instrumentalist, and dancer... not to mention that he composes all of his own music! I expected him to be awesome on the piano (and he was! on a pretty decked out keyboard!), but I was super impressed at the way he played the guitar in one of the songs. He was playing it like it was a Chinese stringed keyboard! It sounded like he was coming off a cold perhaps as he coughed a few times at the start of the concert and his voice wasn't quite at its usual strength. As the night went on, he got better and better! I couldn't believe it when he kept returning for encores -- definitely did not see me complain! A consummate professional and amazing entertainer! Come back soon Jay!

OMG!!!! I like listening to Jay Chou's music, but I am in LOVE with him now!!...It was a WONDERFUL experience! Thanks to my niece, who convinced me to go with her. I will be looking forward to Jay's next concert in Cali!...Wish i could go to the LA concert...=( I was very disappointed that when the concert began (30 min late), the majority of the people with $145 seats ran to the lower floor and took the closer vacant seats (there were a lot vacant seats). It was unfair for those who bought the more expensive ticket for closer seats.

Great to see Jay Chou finally making an appearance in the bay area. I loved how he serenaded us for 3 hours with a song selection that represents the 10 years of hit-making history.
