Elle Varner

Elle is my absolute favorite singer ever!!! She didn't get to perform her entire set due to the technical difficulties on the part of EchoStage. She was great as usual. Her crowd interaction is always amazing and her voice is unparalleled.

She was amazing, she close out the show with my fav song " not tonight" she grab my hand a couple times!! She has an amazing sprit and I'll def go see her again!! She cried when me and the audience sung to her. She def love her fans! Love you Elle

The performance by both performers were great!! It just took them forever to come out! But it was well worth the wait.

Elle was incredible! She put on a great show! Howard Theatre had great customer service, I definitely plan to return.

Been a fan of Elle for about two years now and this was my first time seeing her in concert! Her stage presence is incredible and she interacts with her audience! She even sang an impromptu happy birthday! Love her! Even though the show was only a little over an hour, it was so worth it!

She sounds and looks better in person! I would love to see her again.

Well if you've heard Elle's mixtape and new album, they do not disappoint--neither does her performance live. She sounds as great live as she does recorded (if not better). I absolutely loved her performance.

The show was great! Elle has a beautifully storong voice and a captivating appeal. Though she doesn' have an extensive portfolio of music, she impressed me and left me wanting more. You can tell she is just starting out, but she has a long, fruitful career ahead of her. I'll be watching the entire time!!!!

Elle was amazing! Outfit was on point... Voice was immaculate. The venue slightly small also did not like that the tables had a ten dollar mininum... But overall it was great would definitely go again.

There's only so much you can do when your main talent is your voice, but Elle BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN with her performance. Besides her voice and instrumental being her main niche, she definitely kept my attention with her band and just all around interaction with the crowd. She didn't need to dance or do anything. Despite her being late and the loud disrespectful audience I would definitely see HER again!

Elle was simply amazing. Her voice is beautiful and she has a lot of energy. All of her music is straight from the heart and her appreciation of fans is lovely! Excellent show. No regrets at all. You'll love it so much you'll buy all the merchandise as well wanna see her again.

I have enjoyed the 2 performances I've attended starring Elle Varner. Elle is energetic, soulful, and attentive to her audience. Exuberant class and great mix of the song selection. Her band is wonderful and vocally Elle is a competitor with the best, I mean folks like Patti, Gladys, Tamia, and Etta.

I was so excited when I found out the concert had been moved from the main concert area. We could almost reach out and touch Elle, she was amazing! Her voice sounded so surreal and I was in a state of euphoria literally...just closed my eyes and listened. The drink specials were great as well! Thanks HOB this is one of my favorite concert venues!

So I was super excited to see Elle Varner in concert because she is truly a good artist and her debut album was amazing. The concert was suppose to start at 7:00. A friend and I got to the concert at about 6:15 so that we can get a good view of her. Once they started letting people in at 7 we went to the bar and paid $15 for a watered down drink. I didnt let that upset me though so we took our place and patiently waited for the show to began. We waited and waited and now its 8:00, still no show. finally at about 8:15 her opening act Adrian Marcel came on stage, he was pretty good actually and he finished at about 8:40. I started getting excited because I knew Elle Varner would be out soon but that excitement slowly diminished when 9:00 came, still no Elle. 9:15 Came, Still no Elle. 9:30 came, still no elle. Im thinking does she not realize her fans are standing up, not sitting down and have been waiting very patiently? I decided to leave because I thought her being almost 3 hours late to get on stage was very disrespectful,un thoughtful and just plain RUDE! I mean Beyonce didnt even keep her fans waiting that long at her show so why would Elle think that was okay. & it was a Monday night, come on now people have to be at work in he morning. So yea, I will never again go to a Elle Varner concert she has lost me as a fan.

I was only there for Adrian Marcel and he didn't have a meet and greet, but he was still AWESOME!!!

Amazing show!! She did four songs for her encore, money well spent.

Event was GREAT, when it started on time. First act got stage at an hour after the event started. Once he got off stage....it took Elle another 45 minutes on stage.

Beautiful person; awesome voice live! Just didn't like standing forever waiting for her to perform after the opening act.

In a small and quiant venue, Elle Varner was indeed a pleasure to experience. Artistry is a lost concept in today's industry but she embodies the true definition of Artistry in every sense of the word. Young and talented her promise is endless as a singer/songwriter. I was also glad to see Houston show her the love she deserves.

Sick and all Elle Varner gave an AMAZING performance! It's refreshing to know that there are still naturally talented people in the industry that are humble and down to earth! She stayed positive through technical difficulties and even started singing admit it. She went off the set list and sung a song an audience member requested! Bottom line is her voice is truly a gift!

I've been waiting for Elle to do a concert in Dallas for awhile. I saw her at Winston's a few months ago but the show at HOB Dallas was EVERYTHING! She was funny and very interactive with the crowd. The crowd loved her! Of course, I'm not a fan of the long wait times before an artist comes on stage (opening act started about an hour late and the show was standing room only) BUT I don't regret waiting for Elle!

The voice of an angel, the stage presence of a professional, and one of the sexiest chicks in the game!

The show was great - the sound techs at HOB Dallas suck! Elle was a trooper though and it didnt stop her from giving us an amazing show!

The concert met all my expectations. It was great to hear some new music!

Although I totally enjoyed the concert, I do wish that the showtime was better explained. It listed Elle Varner at 8pm. When in actuality the doors opened at 8 pm. Another person not even included in the listing performed at 9 pm. Then Elle Varner was scheduled at 10 pm. That being said Elle Varner was amazing, gave a great performance and really won me over. Her voice is incredible live and her on stage performance was awesome.

Elle is an amazing performer. Honest. Funny. Personable. And what a talent. She plays guitar and sounds exactly the way she does on her records. She was worth the trip to NYC from Boston.

The show was a surprise for my daughter's birthday; she loves Elle Varner and Elle did not let her down! We enjoyed Adrian Marcel...very talented!

The show was nice Adrian Marcel really showed that he's not just a pretty face. He nailed his song and even conquered a cover of one of R. Kelly's most revered vocal performances [Bump & Grind]. Elle was great although she did perform some of her most sought after vocal performances from her mixtape or first album. She only sang Give It To You, Deep End, Refill, a snippet of Welcome Home & Go (accapella after a fan blurted it out for her to). I would have loved to hear Ghost & Soundproof Room.

This show was good not great. First off the show was supposed to start at 8pm, it didn't start until after 9pm on a Tuesday night. With that being said Adrian Marcel performed for about 30 mins and Elle Varner did about 45mins as if she was rushing trying to make up for the lost time. Again she was good but not great.

This was my first time seeing her perform and she was amazing! I would love to see her again! Her energy was impeccable and she really delivered an amazing performance! I recommend seeing her live, she interacts with her fans and is truly a beautiful soul!

the venue was excellent, their was optional seating available -restaurant which we took advantage of. Who doesn't like live music and food? The only down point was we had to sit at a table with other people -which wasn't awful. Majority of the table was really nice and clearly their for the music so their were all around good vibes. Adrian Marcel was only a club hit to me until that night. His voice is astounding ! Elle Varner was everything and more. I would definitely recommend this legendary venue but also I would probably see anyone blessing this stage - these artists were amazing.

It was such a great show! Everyone who performed did an amazing job the ambiance was cool there was a great vibe the entire night and Elle's voice live OMG I would definitely not hesitate to go see her again she is so worth it! Elle Varner sounds like she's in the studio even when she's live. She connected with the audience so well. She's absolutely amazing not to mention stunning. I was also pleasantly surprised by Adrian Marcel. I hadn't heard anything of his besides his song on the radio titled "2AM." I'll be listening for him in the future as well. Great show! My 20th birthday was spent very well and I'm so glad that I went.

I went to see the Elle Varner show on Saturday dec 6 I really enjoyed myself I was all the way in the front with my friend we won vip slashes to meet Elle Varner a experience that I will never forget it was worth it would I do it again absolutely!!!!!!!

I hadn't listened to much Adrian Marcel, but he has an amazing voice. I listened to some of his music after the concert. Elle, however, is someone I'm a huge fan of. She was even more gorgeous in person! She said she was a little sick, but she still sounded great! I would definitely recommend seeing her live.

Adrian Marcel of course opened (it started 45 mins to an hr after the announced time). His set was around 30 minutes. His voice was PHENOMENAL. He sang his heart out every single song. I'd never heard him before, but his performance made me want to check him out. He was also very sexual lol. Great show. Now to Elle.. Elle Varner gave so much of herself. There were technical issues, but she sang & danced right through them. People would yell out songs for her to sing in between songs in her set, and she'd play them with her guitar. Her voice was so beautiful and she was very enthusiastic. Loved the set. Of course I wish it was longer, but she was worth every penny. Don't want to give the set away, but she was unforgettable to me!

That night upcoming talent was showcased and I had a wonderful time seeing 2 artist that were truly great at their craft. If they were ever to perform at bbking again I would without a doubt go

Elle is an amazing vocalist, and it is always a joy to see her live. A true musician, educated in her craft vocally as well as with a plethora of instruments. She is absolutely connected to the audience, and makes it much more of an interactive experience than many other artists who's shows I've seen in the past. If you have the chance to see Elle live, you definitely don't want to miss her. Only down side is that I wish the show was longer!

Biggest waste of time and gas money! Black Alley is a great performer, but often times it was difficult to understand her since her mic was so low and the music was so loud. Elle Varner was on stage for 15-20 minutes and that was it! REALLY?! She had mic issues and it was also difficult to understand her. She's a great performer but the venue was horrible.

Wish the show didn't start so late first and foremost. Then when Elle finally came out at the first 1:30 it wasn't even a full show from her. 3 songs and she left! Talk about P I S S E D! Overall everyone was good just mad cause the main reason my friend & I came was to see Elle Varner and it was cut completely s h o r t!

Elle's a charismatic performer, sings well live, and comes with a great band. The only negatives were the show starting literally an hour late, and her pre-encore performance only lasting 45 minutes. I'd go back to see her; but preferrably after the next album or two come out, and she has more material.

Not only was the venue amazing but Elle Varner put on an unforgettable show. She was so interactive with everyone and was thoroughly moved to tears several times when we sang to her "Not Tonight". It was very touching to see an artist not have a big head and truly be humble to the point of tears and thanking us for our support. Plus homegirl can SANNNGG!!

Spent $75 on tickets for this concert and she may have performed 10 songs. The concert may have lasted an hour and fifteen minutes (and that may be generous). She performed her most popular songs, several mild reviewed ones and a few new songs that were undeveloped and seemed like an afterthought. To be fair, the concert was mostly marketed to college students from Howard but it should have been considered other attendees may not be students and the concert should reflect that in content and quality. The concert was a disappointment and I would not recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed Elle Varner's performance at House of Blues on 12/15/14. She is truly musically gifted and gave a phenomenal performance, putting her heart and soul into it. The room was very intimate and the ambiance was great. I like the face that Elle came back onto the stage to give an encore performance. I hope she comes back to H-town soon...Adrian Marcel did his thing, too! I had a fantastic time overall. Kudos to you, HOB, for booking top-notch talent!

Elle gives a complete show. She was in one of the smaller rooms at HOB, but the venue was packed. She gave life to everyone of her songs and I felt that she really engaged her fans in every moment of the concert. I definitely recommend her as an artist and performer.
