I just about loved this show. In flames was amazing as usual, but beween the buried and me was just magical. 3 inches of blood was old school metal and kicked ass. The faceless was so great.

I saw my first In Flames show last year in Houston at the House of Blues. I was soo impressed with that show. Their performance was spot-on! They sounded great and the usually conservative crowd was full of energy and the band fed off of that energy. The show I saw last night was GREAT, just as good as the Houston show. The crowd was smaller and it was hard to ensure the band that those of us that were there were having a good time. They still put on a great show and had fun on stage. If you are a fan of their music then please go see them live! It is well worth the money and they put on a show you will not soon forget.

i went mostly because my wife loves the band, I like them. 3 inches of blood are horrible but the faceless and between the buried and me were there and had good shows. In Flames were just awesome, I dig how Bjorn was so personable and social with the crowd and their sound was like listening to the cd it was so tight.

In Flames was AWESOME, interactive, happy, and sounded GREAT live! I was getting used to going to some dumpy places to see metal shows but the Fox was recently redone and was really nice! We were impressed with the details on the building, the bar/restaurant attached, and the lounge upstairs. Even the bathrooms were nice and clean! Great to see a show in Pomona (15-20 minutes away, rather than LA or Hollywood, which would've been at least an hour for us) when we had to work the next day.

3 Inches of Blood were great, and made the wait shorter. The other two bands were far from good, I would not recommend them at all.....I would give faceless a second chance 'cause they're newbies. Finally, when in flames played, I was awesome and better believe that every penny was worth it.

I showed up late and missed 3 Inches and the Faceless. Between the Buried and me had a great set - Selkies was the high point. With such long songs, it felt like a short set even though it was almost an hour long. In Flames has been my favorite band for years. This is the fifth time I have seen them, and they were great. Mixed in songs from Whoracle - A Sense of Purpose. The crowd was great, Anders didn't even have to sing Come Clarity, the chanting was enough.

I went to the show for In Flames, I had never before heard of the opening bands. They all put on a great show and the audience got pumped up before In Flames entered the stage. As always, In Flames delivers a great show. They picked a whole bunch of old school songs, which some people seemed to love, I prefer the later albums tho, like STYS to present. Regardless, they kick ass as always, and being from Sweden is was really cool to see them in the U.S too with a slightly different live-shows culture.

I did not know who the other bands were. The Faceless was okay but the other two bands were horrible especially Between the Buried and Me. In Flames they were cool but they did not even play Trigger! And they did not give the show a good ending.

What can I say? BTBAM came out swinging and rocked the house. Following was a great performance by In Flames. I don't see how anyone could complain about either performance. The other bands were good too, but its hard to compare when you put BTBAM in the mix.

Amazing performance, the opening bands were pretty good, Between the Buried and Me was better than i expected, their crazy riffs, insane background vocals, and creative effects made for a great show. However In Flames brought it home, basically goosebumps the hole concert. I will definitely be going again!

There aren't too many things I can say about the In Flames show at the Fox theater in Pomona. Some things I can say are that: the bands were awesome, the show was short, and the fox theater in Pomona isn't the best choice in venue to hold a melodic death metal show; people are going to want to mosh and that place is too small for that. All-in-all I still had a blast, but I think the show would have been unforgettable had it been at a venue like the Pallidium in Hollywood.

Was only familiar with In Flames prior to attending. The Faceless -- Not my thing, but a good performance. 3 Inches of Blood -- Excellent, passionate performance. Between the Buried and Me -- A trippy, expressive, beautiful performance, except for that poster urging me to become a vegetarian. Still, was grateful for their presence. In Flames -- Um...what just happened? I mean, really? Sex was pathetic compared to that, thanks. A bit short setlist, but really, no other band, in fact, no other human deserved to be within a thousand miles of them playing live.

I have seen In Flames several times, and they are always amazing performers. At the performance for the Charming America tour, the venue (The House of Blues in SD, Ca) was perfect, the sound was loud and clear, the opening bands (Wovenwar and All That Remains) were outstanding, the setlist played by In Flames was diverse and chosen well, and the performance was phenomenal. In Flames interacts so much with their fans, making the experience somehow MORE exciting and unforgettable. I will definitely keep seeing them perform again and again.

I had not seen In Flames for a few years due to scheduling issues for me. So when we had chance to see them in the intimate HOB San Diego I jumped at it. I was introduced to In Flames back in the Colony/Clayman days so I'm from the old school melodic death metal era. That said, I really enjoyed their new material that they performed live. I mean they sounded fantastic! Anders does a very good job as a frontman and entertains the crowd with his comments between songs. Bjorn's solos were melodic and again, kudos to the band and the soundman, the mix was excellent. I look forward to seeing them when they hit SoCal again in the future. First time to see All that Remains, have always liked their CD's and they worked their butts off and put on a good show. And you couldn't ask for a better opening act than Wovenwar, they made the most of their opportunity to kick ass.

The night kicked off with Wovenwar and they were cool, good riffs. Their sound needed help though. Next up was All that Remains and they shredded. Phil's mic could've been a bit higher in volume. And finally In Flames came and sounded great! Quality sound from a quality band that's been around for a long time.

Doors opened to Agoura Hills' Canyon Club @ 6pm, for dinner and/or drinks. A dark lit venue and friendly staff set the mood for what was expected to be an awesome night. The bartenders were quick to keep the drinks flowing, and for good measure (no pun intended) due to their higher than expected prices. An open tab was kept with "Zack" the bartender, who did not disappoint. Our drinks were strong, as they should be, and he never let us wait in line (a little gratuity early, goes a long way). Just before 8pm I look to my left and see Shane Blay of "Wovenwar" standing no more than 10 feet away, warming up. It was then I realized just how small this venue was. And then right on que, the band entered their proverbial arena! As a fan of the late "As I Lay Dying" I was excited to witness the rebirth of such a great band, and aside from the high pitched acoustics during their performance, they did not disappoint. (the acoustics seemed to get better throughout their performance and by the end were right where they should have been) "All That Remains" came on stage next with a heart-pumping, fist smashing, roar of a set! Between Jason Costa's use of the double-bass and the trio of well honed guitarists, "All That Remains" played as if there was a post-apocolyptical fight club in their midst. Philip Labonte's melodic lyrics are perfectly balanced with straight from the gut vocals as the band displays, what can only be described as perfect hardcore metal. Period. Headlining and capping off this amazing event was the always spectacular "In Flames" who performed as flawless as you would expect from such a historically significant band of their stature. Their set list consisted of many of my personal favorites: Clayman, The Quiet Place, Take This Life, and Cloud Connected. Between the jaw-dropping, melodic rifts from Björn Gelotte, Peter Iwers, and Niclas Engelin to the hard-punching beats of Daniel Svensson, "In Flames" proves once again why they are considered the pioneers of melodic death metal and why they have influenced so many bands to this day! Anders Fridén's impeccable ability to create order and chaos simultaneously with such a range of vocal prowess is unmatched. If you can't tell by this review, I had one hell of a great time as I am certain all who witnessed this awesomness did!

Having only been introduce to in flames during an opeth show late last year in 2014 ; I thought they put on a great performance , and I became an instant fan. When I found out in flames was headlining in 2015 , I couldn't wait to attend ...and I'm glad I did . In flames is amazing and once again , they did not disappoint . They are fantastic live and make concert going a lot of fun . If you want to see a hell of a performance from a great band, and have a blast doing it , in flames is the band to see. The small venue also made for a great enhancement as well .

Every band on this tour was fun to watch, All Shall Perish was super-heavy. Demon Hunter was a little boring though, but still put on a good show. Kyng and Trivium put on a great show. I would not recommend Veil of Maya. They sounded horrible and I honestly couldn't wait for them to get off stage. The singer's unintelligible screaming mixed with the weird and sloppy guitar riffs just didn't do it for me. In Flames was by far the best live band I've seen. The sound was perfect and the songs were spot on. Songs like Trigger, Only for the Weak and Sounds of a Playground Fading sound like they were meant to be played live. Anders and Bjorn had great stage presence and I really enjoyed watching them perform. A few of my friends that came with me were not into In Flames at all. This concert changed them.

I honestly wasn't a big fan of the first two bands, although Kyng seemed to have a couple good songs. Once Trivium got onstage everything changed. When they started playing the crowd got way more rowdy and excited. In Flames was pretty good too. I'm a big fan of being able to understand what people are singing, so that's why the first two weren't exactly 5 stars for me. I had bought these tickets for my boyfriend's birthday, and he really loved the show....except for the first two bands. All in all it was pretty awesome even though I'm not a fan of the bands like my boyfriend is.

In Flames had a great set with songs going back to the early days and pretty much playing something off of each album. Anders is really funny on stage and the band is solid. I'm happy they played Cloud Connected and Take this Life (encore). The House of Blues is really small and uncomfortable, but they do have a good sound system and it is located in River North, which are two pluses.

Incredible show. Hellyeah's energy and performance was amazing. Words can't describe the passion and heat these guys bring. In Flames sound production was top notch, as usual. One of the best live sounds of any band's I've heard. Although their set list wasn't my fav (a lot of new songs that are just...ok) they did play a lot of classics and sounded amazing. I didn't know their music much but will say as they played each song, I liked them more and more. In Flames has a strong sound with solid energy. I've seen Hellyeah several times now and they also put on a good show. I don't know how Chad can maintain his vocal chords with how he belts it out. During the points they have no drums, you realize how important Vinnie is to their sound. They have no muscle without him. The bass player looks like a great dude to party with. I have never commented about this but will say the Hellyeah stage crew is the slowest laziest group I have ever seen. They make a highway construction crew look like all stars.

We attended for In Flames would love to see a full hour and a half to two hour In Flames set, but settled for what we could get which turned out to be phenomenal! From Ashes To New is not my style band but they were excellent - true touring professionals. Second time seeing both Hellyeah and In Flames, and neither disappointed. Hellyeah was BETTER than we expected ad got us really pumped for In Flames!! Vinny's driving grooves just got the place jumping. In Flames played a great mix of material going all the way back to the Colony album while including the first two singles from Battles which came out just 9 days prior!

The first two opening bands were okay, nothing special. However, Hellyeah came on and basically blew my ear drums. Their monitors and speakers were turned up so loud that I literally could not hear a thing after they finished. That was pretty disappointing. Then In flames came on and the night was saved! They put on a great show, with a great set list! The volume was much better and they were interactive with the crowd. The only thing that was bad about it was it was hard to hear them since my ears were still ringing from Hellyeah playing. But, I had a great time and I would do it all over again just to get a chance to see In flames play! They are an absolutley amazing band and they know how to put on a great show!

Not a single song from 90's?! I was hoping to hear some good old melodic death metal yesterday, but all I got was bring me the horizon with guitar solos... Dark Tranquility concert a week ago was a complete opposite!

My friends and I came out from Dayton, OH for this show. One of my friends had seen ATR and In Flames before, but none of us had seen Periphery. We came out mostly for Periphery, although each band put on a fantastic show. Periphery blew my already high expectations out of the water. I would recommend seeing any of these bands live, if possible, on this tour.

I came to see Periphery , but unfortunately I was only able to catch their last 3 songs since there is no band line up on the website, or at least there is no band order. It shows inflames as the headliner but the site is not very clear on who is opening and who is going on second. Anyways periphery as amaizing, I even got to meet one of the guitarists after their set cause he was chillen at the merch table. Now as far as inflames goes ....... I've only heard of them, but I really didn't know what to expect from them. They came on stage with a great energy, they had the whole place going crazy with vibes, including me and it was my first time seeing them. They encountered some technical difficulties but the singer did not hesitate to entertain the crowd in the mean time by letting us know how crappy American beer like bud light is :D In conclusion this tour was great, got to see some great bands .... Didn't really care for all that remains but whatever they rocked out and people seem to like them.

Was kinda sad I was on a Monday night...but we still had a lot of fun! Our tickets said go to door A-1 which was locked and their was only one entrance open to the Event Center. As for the bands, Wovenwar was not on beat or in tune. Disappointing. All That Remains should have been the headliner! They were amazing...talked to the crowd...got them going...great presence and performance. Honestly, stayed for three In Flames songs and left because we don't listen to them normally. definitely go again to the Bis. Event center though. Staff was friendly and let us do our thing. Could have used a second bathroom open though. Beer and Food was awesome.

I had never been to The Canyon before, but it's a great venue! It was nice to not have to pay $15 or $20 just to park, and parking wasn't a problem. I arrived late (because of traffic) and missed most of the opening band, unfortunately, but I parked 150 feet from the door. Walked in and saw Chris Broderick hanging out, talking to people. All That Remains and In Flames were great, as I expected. Band members hung out in the club after their sets, and were really approachable, the way it should be. The crowd was great. The staff was great. It was a GREAT SHOW at a GREAT VENUE.

All the bands sounded great, kinda bummed about balcony genetal admission tickets though. Not really worth the money. Try to get general floor next time. All the bands put on a great entertaining show!! Also wish the venue itself was louder.

This was my buddies favorite band and he left not even five songs in. Trivium foreshadowed the lameness we were about to be subjected to, we should have seen it coming. The lead singer of Trivium prancing about with his wireless headset and guitar combo, having a little walk-a-bout through the venue, oh that was rich. Jon Bon Jovi would have been jealous. Then In Flames comes on and it's one lame song after another, finally they get to some earlier stuff but not before the lead singer starts dissing on his old school fans. That would be the first time I ever heard a band do that. So what was up with his dirty trucker costume anyway?

I dont think they could have had a more boring setlist. 10 of 17 songs were from the last 2 albums. I was really hoping to hear a nice diverse setlist that would include classic songs that made them famous. Instead they were watered down new songs for new fans. Dont get me wrong, the new material is very well written, but it pales in comparison to classic in flames, and most importantly lacks the high energy needed for a live show. I'm sad to say that I left after the 9th song because I had given up all hope of them playing any of their older songs. I checked the setlist online the next day and did not regret my decision to leave. This was the first ever concert where I left early, it was that disappointing to me. They have clearly taken a new direction with a new fanbase and show no signs of paying tribute to their roots during live shows. I wont be seeing them again

Kyng did a great job as the opener, sound was a little muddled but that's expected from the opener not having the best equipment. Veil of Maya I do not recommend seeing Trivium was great, excellent setlist. Thank God they played nothing off The Crusade. Only song I would have changed from their setlist was "Built to Fall" but I understand they have to play that for the Octane listeners that only knew that song. In Flames sounded good as always but I'm done seeing them. They decided to open with the first 3 songs of their new record which is fine by me. But then they claimed they were going to play some stuff form their back catalogue. Which is what most people want to hear from them. I got extremely excited because I had seen they were playing "Swim" and boy was I angry when they decided to switch it out for the last 5 shows of the tour.... Instead we got "Only For the Weak" (which is an OK song off Clayman), "The Hive" (which is the only OLD OLD In Flames song they play anymore), and "The Quite Place." Yup, that's their back catelogue stuff?!?!?!?!!??!? What a joke. Everyone knows that everything after Clayman is the New Era, and not nearly as good by comparison. Sure they have some good songs and a few great songs on albums after Clayman, but as a whole, the music isn't as good. Needless to say, I won't be seeing them anymore until they decide to throw in 3 or 4 songs off of Jester Race, Whoracle, Colony, and Clayman. They don't even play "Pinball Map" anymore!!!! Setlist should have been: (In No Particular Order) 1)Sounds of a Playground Fading 2)Deliver Us 3)Where the Dead Ships Dwell 4)Ropes 5)Trigger 6)Take This Life 7)Alias 8)Cloud Connected ^ Which They Played 9)Pinball Map 10)Coerced Coexistence 11)December Flower (Which one guy was screaming for) 12)Moonshield 13)Gyroscope 14)Jotun 15)Clayman 16) Swim 17) Colony Instead they are alienating their old fans worse and worse every album.... Nobody wanted to hear 7 songs off their new album. That's a joke....
