This was a fun show to attend with a wide variety of your favorite Disney characters. The lighting of the ice, special effects and props were all really neat. It captivated both of my children: 3 1/2yr old girl and 2yr old boy. Philips Arena was a great venue to see it in as well, because it felt very intimate and you could see the show well from most seats (I was worried we'd be too high or far away) The merchandise and food sales are ridiculously overpriced, but overall, we had a wonderful experience and it was well worth it.

We hadn't attend an ice show in 8 years, and I was a little disappointed. It wasn't as "magical". The props and theatrics used to be exciting, but this time it was just "fine". The costumes were beautiful. My youngest daughter had a great time (1st visit), but my 19 year old was disappointed that it wasn't as good "as it used to be". If you don't remember "the good 'ol days", it was great! We were really disappointed in the quality of the souvenirs too. Don't even get me started on the $15 "program" that didn't have a single photo from the actual show...

It was my son's 9th birthday and he had a superfab time! We all did. It was not as cold in there as when we took our 2 year old to see Elmo. I'd brought a blanket just to be safe but we did not even need it. Thanks for a great show and venue!

Nice production. We see a lot of children's shows and this was on par or better than most in the genre as far as production quality and fun that the kids had. Probably on par with the Sesame Street shows. A little bit of extra promotion of their upcoming movie, but not too much. The theme seemed a little loose in that the story goes from celebrating holidays (starting with birthday), to some gadget that Mickey uses to transport he and Minnie to different locations (for vacation), then back to holidays. The kids didn't seem to mind though - they enjoyed the show. The younger kids seem to enjoy seeing the characters while the slightly older kids appreciate the production and the talent a bit more. The supporting visuals and the lighting were good. While the standard clubhouse gang are the stars of the show, they did a good job of including a number of other Disney characters. The first scene starts with a birthday theme, featuring a number of characters, including Pinocchio and the Mad Hatter. One scene featured most of the princesses. There is another that was Halloween themed, starting with Nightmare Before Christmas characters, and then bringing in villians from other movies. There was a New Orleans scene, which was a chance to promote the new movie a bit and feature the new princess. Minnie and Mickey later travel to a couple of locations, including Hawaii (which features Lilo and Stitch), Japan, then China. Mickey has a scene as the sorcerer's apprentice. The final act was the Christmas scene. I would have liked for that to have been a little longer since it included the Toy Story toys and my kids are big fans of the movies. I could be wrong, but it seemed like one of the shorter scenes in the production. Of course, it would have been nice to actually have referred to it as, "Christmas" too. Jesse may have referred to Buzz as a, "Christmas toy", but everything else was, "holidays". Sorry but when you dress Goofy up in a Santa costume, it is Christmas. Overall the kids enjoyed it and had a good time. We went on opening night in our city and had good seats - probably about 15 rows up or so from the ice. The tickets were half price, so $15 a person (+ ticketmaster fees) is a good deal, especially for a Disney production. I don't know what souvenir prices were. We just went to Disneyland two months ago, so we passed on buying any. Parking was $10, which is standard for an event like that downtown. The show started at 7:30 and ended around 9:15 I think. There was a short intermission after the first hour.

After two years, we were finally able to make this event. Disney has never disappointed my family, and this was one amazing show. The light effects used with the ice rink was the highlight of the show. The grand finally with the holiday celebrations was a perfect end to the excellent display of dance music and various characters. This is big thumbs up.

My husband and I took our 2 year grandaughter to Disney on Ice Celebrations and we were all amazed at the talent the characters had on ice!! My husband actually enjoyed the show.... our grandaughter sat thru the whole show, now mind you she is 2 and never sits still for anything! It was precious watching her expressions when she saw her favorite princess'... she really loved the snow flurries. This is an event that any age will enjoy!!!!

The costumes, choreography, skating and performances were great. Some of the music was kind of cheesy (Toys are Back in Town? Phil Lynott must be spinning in his grave!), but overall a great show for the kids. At 1 hour 45 minutes, including intermission, it felt a little short, but maybe that's my adult clock being applied to a kid's show. The intermission should be announced as a specific time length, not just "taking a short break." Many, many people were caught out in the concessions area when the music restarted and either had to abandon their places in long lines or just forego seeing the start of the second act (as we did). Speaking of, the show after the intermission felt too short, it's much shorter than the opening "half." Which makes missing the start of it that much more aggravating. Also, it has to be mentioned, the Disney-specific concessions are WAY overpriced! $15 for a snow cone? I realize you get a Disney-themed plastic mug with it, but they won't even refill it at a lower cost. I learned that from a disgruntled mom while standing in line for a Phillips Arena ice cream since I refused to pay 15 bucks for flavored ice. Rip-off!

I took my daughters to the opening night of this event at Philips Arena. The theme of CELEBRATIONS was fantastic - focusing on birthdays, holidays, events, etc - causes for celebrating...Every Disney character was involved in the event (my kids couldn't name a character not present on the ice). They even teased you with a song and dance from the upcoming movie THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG (which we will be seeing opening day), and to end the show sang, "THE TOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN" for the 2010 release of Toy Story 3. If you get the chance, take your children to this event. We've seen 4 on ice shows in 4 years and per my children, "this was the best one ever!"

We had a great time taking our 8 yr old to to the performance. It was a heart warming, well done and not over priced. As close to a trip to Disney as we can manage at this moment - This is perfect for all ages, even adults - but kids from 2-10 will especially enjoy it..

Overall the show was good however if you have been to World of Fantasy you might be disappointed. The costumes at Celebrations were not as elaborate. In a time of political correctness - I was delighted to see that Christmas was the most important celebration. Granted it was geared toward Santa but atleast it was mentioned! We got tickets for BOGO since we went opening night which made up for the slight costume disappointment.

My daughter and I have gone to Princesses on Ice several times. She is now 9 and growing out of that stage. We went to Disney on Ice Celebrations with me thinking this might be the last show we would attend. Not So!! She was engaged and excited throughout the show. Much more interesting for her (and me) than the princesses, although they were in the show too, Great lighting, very enjoyable! Lots of recognizable characters form all the movies! Very creative. It seems we will be attending more shows after all!

Disney Celebrations was okay although the skating was fabulous. The Disney On Ice that we saw last year was much better-- the one with Mickey & Co along with Cars and Tinker Bell. My husband and I were a little disappointed in the show. Our 4 year old enjoyed it even though the part with Jack Skellington and some of the villains were a bit scary at times. Thankfully she couldn't make out the words to the song that he was singing. The theme of 'celebrations' was not carried out very well. The show didn't flow. There were so many characters on the ice at a time it was hard to see who was doing what. I believe the most disappointing part was they played the wonderful song from 'Enchanted' "How will I know"-- but Giselle was not featured. That was a great part of the show but I believe it would have been better if they would have included Giselle too. The skaters were awesome during this part though. Pretty pricey for just an 'okay' show.

My niece's 4th birthday was this past Saturday the 17th and I decided to treat my entire family to the Disney on Ice Celebrations. The first half of the program was really exciting and after the intermission, the kids begin to lose interest. I don't think the program was too long; however I don't think the second half was as energetic as the first half. I heard that Princess Tiara was going to be featured in the show and that's really the only reason I paid attention to the second half of the show. Once Princess Tiara did her section, I got excited again! I just wish they would have introduced her since she is the first African American Princess.

Thought the show was good - not a fan of the spooky bald guy for the villian part. My 5 and 2 yr old did not enjoy that longggggg scene that seemed to last forever. But overall a good time. Only wish the half price tickets would be on the Sun noon show instead of a school night. In these times it is really hard to do fun things like this for a family of 4 with high ticket prices, food, parking and $60 of Disney junk to buy - it hurts the pockets.

We really enjoyed the Disney on Ice show. It was the first time we took our 3 year old to a live show in a large venue and he was mesmerized by the lights and music! It was great to see his face when the Cars were on the stage. The performers were upbeat and great to watch. The only thing was the Tinkerbell act is the entire 2nd half of the show which is a bit long but Tinkerbell was an amazing skater and the aerial effects were great to watch. Great show for the kids, but I find it really interesting how Disney has really focused on the "princess and prince charming" theme. I would've appreciated a little less focus on happily ever after, and more on good ole mickey and donald! Also amazing how little diversity there is in the show... But really, my daughter (4) could've cared less about all of that - she loved it!

My entire family loved the show - all 5 of us ranging from 11 months to 45 years! My 3 year old is still talking about it everyday! She said, "it was the best day ever!" I thought the flow of events was perfect - just long enough to keep the kid's attention for each "celebration". I thought the Halloween part may scare my kids since they are 4 and under, but it was very well done and they were not scared. My girls said it best when I asked them which was their favorite part and they both said, "all of it!" We will definitely go see another Disney on Ice show again.

I think that it was an absolutely amazing show. However, I didn't think it was long enough! My daughter looked at me and said, "Can we see it again?" The magic that comes with disney productions is spectacular and unmatchable. I think the only problem was that our seats were on the side and the production was more geared towards the center seat audience. So, we did see a lot of the back of character heads.

The seats that we got for this show was awsome and my children reacted well to the characters, but I felt there should have been more to the show. I have went to disney on Ice every year for the past six years and this was the worst. It seemed like the show was cut short and there was not a good flow to the show. Minnie was cute, but i felt that the story line was not connecing to every scene. I also felt we got a little of some characters and to much of others. I would have also liked to see more promotion so I would have known what the show was about before I got there. I would recommand the show only because of my children's reactions.

The show itself was very good and my 4 year old and 2 year old girls both loved it. The princesses looked really close to the characters. The skaters did a great job. If anyone missed their mark it was unnoticable. My only complaint is all of the souvenirs and overpriced concessions. Cotton candy is $10 and comes with a Flounder hat. Snow cones are $12 or $15 depending on which souvenir cup you choose. It is like running the gauntlet to try to get past all the concession stands to your seats.

I took my 7 month old and 10 year old sons. They both were captivated by all of the action and excitement. My 10 year old had fun naming all of the stories.

Overall the show was awesome, but Phillips arena could do a better job of cleaning. The seats and floors were very sticky.

There were so many characters and constant movement that there was no problem keeping my 4 year old's attention. She LOVES the Princesses and was ecstatic to see them along with Tinkerbell.

I loved every moment of this wonderfully, amazing show. My daughter never blinked for fear of missing something. The costumes were great, the lights were on point and the sound was so life-like. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone... and I plan on going again myself!

The show was really fun and my kids had a great time, to include my 17 year old who thought it was going to be boring. The food items and toys were too expensive though but thats Disney. I think they should have been a little less. Also they had the song from Enchanted but only had one character which was the witch. Then i did not see any High School Musical characters and songs in which my 11 year old would have enjoyed.

This is the first Disney Ice show that I have seen at Philips arena. Judging from where our seats were booked, I will definitely have to spend a bit more money next time to get seats on the lower floor , and I hope to find seats directly in front of the stage set-up. I expected the stage setup to be a bit different because the audience extended to various parts of the arena. I believe that if Disney had used the hanging monitors in the arena, everyone would have been able to see all parts fo the show from all parts of the stadium. Also, there should be an extended prop curtain to cover the props in the back of the stage. Again, this has to do with the seats that were booked on Ticketmaster and the position of the stage. The skaters were excellent and the music was great. My children seemed to enjoy the second half of the show more than the first.

We loved the show Disney on Ice & the grandkids really loved seeing all the characters, but the Halloween celebration was a little much for 3 & 4 year olds. It scared our grandchildren. Other than that we loved the show & would recommend it to everyone who wants to see it.

My 5 year old grand-angel LOVED everything about Disney on Ice EXCEPT the fact that she could only see it one time! She wanted to stay for every show! How cool is THAT? Everything about the event was good and better. It was on time, clean, easy to see and to follow, the crowds were well controlled and all the \u2018ushers friendly and well informed. The vendors were concerned about the little ones as well as their sales, the food was good and everything was priced appropriately for the event. Loved it!

Of course, you can't go wrong with kids and Disney! We are all big Toy Story fans and were especially pleased with Buzz's and Woody's big entrance at the end of the show!

The show was very entertaining and there were a lot of popular charachters represented. My so is 3 and he is not that familiar with the Princesses, but enjoyed the spectacle and knew most of the charachters. We had great seats 4 rows up from the ice. My one criticism would be that all of the larger visual props were aimed at one end of the floor. If you were on one side or the other and too close to where the skaters come out, you were blocked from ALL that was going on. Only those ohn the opposite end of the skaters entrance/exit had the ideal view. Maybe this could be described better when tickets go on sale. Overall, a great day.
