HG Gospel Explosion was wonderfully orchestrated and delivered! The line up was fantastic and the music was unforgettable! There were legends as well as fresh, new talent and that gave the concert a very good balance. The testimonies and energy were phenomenal. The sound quality was near perfect and the audience was highly engaged the entire time! I'd recommend this event to anyone who enjoys old school gospel and genuine fellowship.

The program was put together with God first. My wife and I enjoyed the complete program, hope who ever lives to see another one in 2016. It was fantastic. Everyone did there part, even Lee Williams move a new step and he sang his heart out for the Lord.

Overall really enjoyed it; however, disappointed that the groups that performed after John Kee had very little time because the local groups and newer groups had too much time. Recommend having fewer groups so the best groups have more time since they are who we pay to hear.

I had a great time and felt that being Tommy Ellison's Legendary Singing Stars were the main group, they didn't perform that long. I was upset about that. I would recommend for furture concerts that they cut down on the number of groups so their performances will last longer. Otherwise it was great!

It was great. I'm looking forward to next year's. My friend favorite artist is Lee Williams and the William Brothers. She was so excited to take a picture with Lee and stated that this was the best experience she ever had.

Took my mother to this event. We really enjoyed ourselves. Everyone sounded amazing and it was obvious that the Holy Spirit stopped by for a little while. I think that the only downfall was that there was a lot of groups performing (which was wonderful in itself) but not enough time for everyone to really let loose and perform without worrying too much about time. The show started at 4pm and ended at 10pm. There were 9 groups and each group performed at least 3 songs...some did more. Overall, it was a great show!

There was entirely too much talking between sets. The organization seemed a little off which led to entirely too much talking between groups. The sound was also a little off throughout the night. It was difficult to hear what some of the artists were saying/singing. Perhaps a higher quality audio would enhance programming. On the positive side, the groups were really engaging (when you were clearly able to hear).

The concert was great, in parts. The great part that it started on time. Another great part is that all artists that were scheduled to apprear, showed up. The not-so-great part is that headliners were Lee Williams & Mighty Clouds of Joy who performed near the very end of the concert. I enjoyed the concert until Lee Williams came out and performed 2 1/2 songs in 5 minutes! The master of cermony was funny at times and I could have less talk and used that time for the performances.

Too many acts. Started at 4 and at 11 pm, the concert was not nearly finished. Should have been advertised as 100 acts and Lee Williams and Mighty Clouds of Joy in between the other acts. Whoever organized this event did a horrible job!

This concert was great! I wish Lee Williams & Spiritual QCs had more time to sing because they, the Jackson Southernaires, Helen Miller, and the Mighty Clouds of Joy was the main attraction for me to attend this event. My only concern that groups did not get enough time to "fully" musically express themselves I liked that fact that Lisa Knowles invited the Brown Sisters on stage with them, that showed confidence and togetherness..

The Family Reunion Fest was outstanding. Please keep it going....every year. It's the "ole time gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ that is needed now to save a dying world more than ever before'. One growth edge to consider: Less groups and more time for each group to sing at least (4) songs. Always invite your heavy hitters...for a sure sell out and get us out by 11:00 p.m. I've been traveling 3 hours one way every year for the past 10 years...and I love it...don't get me wrong...but I certainly hope you all will consider "time" as a factor. Perhaps we can start at 3 p.m. and be out by 11:00 p.m. Now, one for the "inquiring minds"...I heard Lee Williams had been sick and I'm really wondering and hurting inside because he song only 1 song...so unlike him. I'm always praying for all of our GOSPEL LEGENDS. All and all, Lee song well..I've been listening to Lee Williams for 30 years. Please keep his devoted fans informed about him. WE LOVE HIM! WE LOVE YOU LEE WILLIAMS....Hang in there for me and we will see you again 2013! "...and by His stripes...we (you) are healed...in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord"... Blessings!

I had a blast praising God with these anointed Groups. I just Got better as it went along. I was awesomely impressed they started on time on the dot. Joe and the Mighty Clouds haven't lost a step... He still sounds like all of his recordings. What a performance he still gives after 50+ years..... Lee and the QC's done what they do and sung until the house came down. Just amazed at how Lee Williams will sing so strong and don't move,...... truly a gift from God.

The singing was amazing. The old spiritual songs were put on the back burner in many churches. All the groups on this night took the audience back down memory lane. I love the old gospel songs. You know the songs your old grandmother would sing. It seemed the old gospel saved people's souls a lot more and people were willing to talk about God more than ever. Today souls are still being saved but sometimes it seems as though their hearts are not as convicted. Maybe I'm just noticing something that others just don't see. I guess that's because I was raised by older people. Well, anyway, thanks Lee Williams, The Might Clouds and the other bands, you all were awesome!
