San Diego Sockers

The long French horns being blown at last night's game were quite disturbing. The blowers intent was to deafen the opposing team, possibly to interrupt their huddle conversation. Or to just be annoying to the rest of us. It showed very low class on San Diego's part. And, truly, I was embarrassed for our team. Otherwise, our team was sensational! They're still the same Sockers that are coached well. They know their plays & execute them! We will be back! Please do something about the French horn blowers!

Most exciting sporting event I have ever attended.

San Diego team and fan experience that (literally) can't be beat. Exciting, aggressive sport. GREAT team with a Legacy of victory. Excellent tickets easily available. Fans with commitment. Easy park and walk. Family friendly . Very affordable. Good beer on tap. Can you think of any other San Diego Professional Sports Teams that can be counted on to bring their A game week in, week out? How about fight to bring home the Cup and win? Raise up and represent San Diego. This is a great time. I love these games.

I love going to the San Diego Sockers games! The games are fast paced and exciting and now that the games are at the old Sports Arena I don't have to worry about freezing my buns off. We have an amazing team with endless talent. Our players are quick and skilled and have yet to lose a game in over a year. These guys are one win away from breaking the record of most consecutive wins. The games are great for kids. Our players kick a ball into the stands every time they score...and they score a lot. Tickets are inexpensive and parking is FREE!

Other than the game being delayed and ticketmaster having the times wrong, the event itself was great.

Great game...lots of fun.....good spend of money...kids enjoyed the fun zone. Next time bring blanket as arena not totally enclosed.

I highly recommend attending SD Sockers games at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. It's fun and affordable for all ages. Plus our team is the best!

We had great fun. the palyers interaction with their fans makes this experience even more memorable. My 8 year old son plays soccer and at half time he got to hive five his favorite players. We're going back again and again...

We had season tickets to the Sockers back in the 80's and 90's at Sports Arena. It was a better venue than the Del Mar arena, but you still get a quaint experience in Del Mar, just a shame there is such a gap between the two rows of field seats and the boxes. Always a thrilling game though!Third row up from field, but there is a 10-15 yard gap between row 2&3 (the field seats & boxes.) you don't want the 2nd row of the boxes as there is no elevation, can't see

Awesome game!! I would recommend the venue and game to everyone. It is a great atmosphere. Go Sockers!!

Lots of fun for kids who love Soccer... the team makes a big effort tomake it fun for them with extra activities and team happily signs autographs for the kids after!

The Del Mar venue for the San Diego Sockers is a great place to see them play. The game we saw was a 13-2 win for the Sockers. If you enjoy fast paced indoor soccer, and are looking for an affordable night out with the family and friends we highly recommend it. After each goal scored the sockers throw a ball into the crowd that is signed by all the players.

We had a fun time! Great enthusiasm from the crowd, good community involvement. It looked like a lot of youth soccer teams were there to watch. After each goal, random audience members were thrown a gift from the team. We were glad we brought a blanket to sit on, as the metal bench was cold. There were three bouncy structures for the kids; don't know if there was a charge for those.

I bought Field seats for my son's birthday and he loved it! I enjoyed it as well. The Sockers played a great game! Thanks again for all the up close pics and signatures! We definitely will be at the next game!!!!

The San Diego Sockers were awesome to watch in person! I wasn't sure what to expect since I have never been before, but the game and the venue exceeded my expectations for sure! I was surprised to see all of the extra activities, especially for the kids. Plus, the "filler" acts and events between quarters were unexpected. The frisbee dog's were great! So exciting to watch them perform. The whole experience was so much fun and I will definitely be attending another game this season!

For those of you that remember the MISL Sockers from the eighties.......Well they are back! San Diego's only professtional sports team to win title after title, year after year. The "New Sockers" are just as exciting as teams from the past. The players are amazing to watch, plus it's so nice to see them take the time after the games to meet with the fans and sign soccer balls and programs for the kids (adults too). Come to a game, you will be glad you did.
