Nicole Pesce

I thoroughly enjoyed this concert and would recommend Nicole's concert to any true piano enthusiast and/or music lover. Nicole is a marvelous entertainer with a wide range and depth of all things music. Her concert consisted of everything from Jazz to ballads, swing and blues and contained an emotional depth that was unparalleled. Nicole featured an awesome group of players and the interaction between musicians was truly incredible and so entertaining. Tasty, elegant and entertaining...a must see!

A technically extraordinary pianist with a comprehensive repertoire. Unfortunately, her ability to entertain is limited. She seems unable to play a song without having it end up sounding the same - too many notes - too much technical virtuosity, to little emotion. Jazz improv is a team sport, and there was little to no interesting interactions between musicians. If we had left after intermission, we would have lost nothing. The audience ending applause did not even suggest a desire for more.

Nicole has been a best kept secret in the valley for decades. She can play anything, anytime anywhere but unfortunately she doesn't have a regular local venue anymore. Her request medleys are phenomenal. This jazz quartet night also impressed but I always hope for more Nicole and less of her guests. She's a not miss talent.

LOVED the performance. Nicole is an amazing pianist and the band was equally good. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes piano and/or jazz.
