The Zombies played a great mix of their hits plus some rock classics.A crazy version of Argents," Hold Your Head Up". Still strong musically as well as vocally. Ended strongly with Argents rock anthem

Colin Blunstone continues to amaze with his vocal strength and Argent's keyboard work sets the bar. As this was the final Odessey and Oracle performance in the states, it was performed flawlessly. Couldn't believe the size of the Mellotron now compared to the days of future passed.

The Zombies were Awesome at The Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale. The band added two new songs(The Look of Love and sanctuary) were added to their already fantastic set of hits. All the vocals were superb and the band rocked two sets: First set was full of The Zombies hits like, I love You, Road Runner, You Really Got a Hold on me, I want her, she wants me just to name a few. The second set was the whole performance of the iconic album Odessey and Oracle played to perfection!! The Zombies band were magnificent rocking us that night!!!! Can t wait to see these guys again!!! Woohooo!!!

I attended the Zombie's show at Showcase Live in Foxboro MA. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the vocals from both Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent. They gave a great performance filled with insights into the band's past. Their sound was ageless. The songs from the new record were great also.

We got there early and found 5 seats close to the stage. The whole experience of catching the legendary Zombies live was wonderful and it was one of the best live performances I've seen in recent memory. The sound was first-rate and the venue was extremely comfortable. Plus the food was reasonably-priced and delicious. Seeing keyboardist Rod Argent and vocalist Colin Blunstone on stage doing their hits plus worthy new material was truly magical. Couldn't imagine a better night out! Congrats to Showcase Live for hosting such a memorable event.

If this show is coming to a venue near you, don't miss it. They played over 20 songs and rocked. Argent and Blunstone's voices were in fine form. They play many songs from their career with an emphasis on Odyssey and Oracle. They have a new album out that is quite good and play music from it. The new album is so good that it never detracts from the rest of the show.

Great show...Their old songs blended very well with the new songs. Rod's organ riffs were outstanding and Colin's voice was as good as every. I have followed this band since the beginning in the 60's. It was great to finally see them live. They did not disappoint. I brought my wife with me and she was not even sure who they were but she loved the show.

I purchased the meet and greet for the Zombies for almost 200.00 excepting 1. To get a heads up in enough time when/ where it would be held 2. That I would meet the whole band. The meet and greet instructions came 2 hours before the actual meet and greet and i.only met 2 band members!! Not acceptable by any standards. Parker play house had no information on anything!! Go to 90 concerts a year and have done many meet and greets and never have i had this issue!!

They are flat out one of the best bands touring. For Zombies fans this is a must see, for music fans in general you'll be glad you saw this one. The 1st set featured the current lineup, led by original front men Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent and included songs from throughout their careers. This alone was worth the price of admission, but then it got even better. After a break they returned with the remaining original members of the band and performed their classic album Odessy and Oracle in it's entirety, one of the few records that deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the Beatles Sergeant Pepper. For those who don't recognized the title, you probably know the closing track, Time of the Season. In addition to their vocal and musical brilliance, they also connect with the audience in a way that feels like a house party. I've seen hundreds of concerts, this was one off the best!

This was the best performance of the Zombies I have seen to date. The first half of the show was done with the newer configuration of the band. The second half of the show had the members joined by the two other surviving original members who performed the Odyssey and Oracle album in its entirety. An excellent night of entertainment. The fact that their performance was held at the Parker Playhouse makes it all the more enjoyable.

The Zombies are such an iconic rock group and their performance at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA was one of the best I have heard from any band. I was sitting next to the stage six feet away and was able to see every nuance of their musical workmanship, every breath Colin Blunstone took as he stepped up to the mike for his delivery, and every sweeping move Rod Argent took at the keyboards. At the end of the evening, we had 500 very happy fans probably all wishing they would continue for another hour or so. Time has treated them very well and 50 years has not dulled their talents one bit. Just an all around excellent show!

They still have the sound, the harmonies, the energy, the great songs from the 60s and a few brand new ones. Their show was fun, memorable and exciting and they know how to bring in the audience and bring the house down! The Birchmere is an outstanding venue. What a treat seeing a legendary British Invasion act in an intimate 500 seat music hall. My final thought is, are you kidding me, these guys are not in the rock 'n roll hall of fame yet? I can still remember being 10 years old and first hearing the Zombies. I was captivated by their sound and musicality, and became a lifelong fan. 52 years later... I was transported back in time experiencing the same awe and excitement I felt back in '65. These guys are simply incredible. Classics! Collin's voice blew us away. How this man can still sing so beautifully at 72 years old is truly remarkable. His voice is so strong, yet so sweet and melodic. Unique, GORGEOUS voice. Rod Argent's keyboard playing was absolutely masterful. The band was tight and all handled the harmonies perfectly. Tom Toomey on lead guitar and Steve Rodford on drums were exceptional, and of course legendary bassist, Jim Rodford was brilliant (fan from his Kinks days)! If you're a Zombies fan, you MUST see these guys. In fact, even if you're not familiar with their work, you should definitely see them! A true classic band; a great concert.

The Zombies were in top form for this concert. Colin's voice was a real experience. Keyboards were incredible. The original group was absolutely the best end of the evening. The original drummer and bass player absolutely duplicated their material - and improved the show quite measurably overall. They brought back the style and technique of the original group and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The new people were excellent technicians as well but the 'studio musician' in them just made their performance a bit sterile. I would suggest that they consider using just the current touring crew along with the original bass player (Chris) and drummer (Hugh). I attended a Zombie concert a couple of years or so back (Hampton, New Hampshire I think) and the acoustics were near perfect. The acoustics at the Wilbur were dismal at best - the Zombies sound staff should do this work themselves with their own equipment. . I would not recommend this venue for a concert unless it may be the last you are able to attend for the group. Overall, for me the memories and the combination or blues, jazz and rock made the concert a must. The new material is excellent as well. I will be looking for their new albums to put in rotation. If you imbibe remember that the beer is $8 for a small cup and $14 or $15 for the large - not my terminology. Chairs on the floor are set facing at 90 degrees to the stage and they are set up against each other side by side. I opted not to get these seats and I had a superior experience as a result.

I can't say that The Zombies would be compared to The Beatles or the Stones in 1960's British Invasion scenario. But they have several quite successful songs throughout the decades and had influenced some generations of Americas musicians. Their live performance of several of such successful songs in addition to the Odessey & Oracle Album is surely a strong evidence of perseverance and the timeless features of some good music with thoughtful lyrics. Amazingly, the band is quite energized on stage despite their advanced age. In fact, I myself would love to age and be still in shape and mood for such mood on stage. It's also very nice to check on the memorabilia offered exclusively in the theater lobby where they present the show. In summary, a very nice family program, for all generations.

We all know the Zombies band headed by Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone can rock the roll out of anyone, but Saturday night the whole band took rock concert going to a higher level! The band opened with "I Love You" written by Chris White (one of the original founding members) and The Zombies 50th Anniversary " Odessey & Oracle Final Tour" was on like a rocket!!!! Each song on their set list took us back in time to rock us like know other.fun..fun fun!!!. The entire "Odessey and Oracle" album was played to perfection...from Cell 44 to the Buther's Tail (sung by Chris White with Rod Argent playing a real pump organ). Colin Blunstone's vocals sounded surperb in each song! The bands harmonies were breath taking! Please note: The concert was in two parts: Songs from the 2015 hit album "Still Git That Hunger" with some funky R&B songs like "You Really Got A Hold On Me" & "I'm A RoadRunner Honey" just to name two were performed in part one, and The performance of the entire "Odessey& Oracle album"with Chris White, Hugh Grundy, Viv Boucherat and keyboardist, Darian Sahanaja (from The Beach Boys) completed the second part along with the current touring members(Jim Rodford, Tom Toomey & Steve Rodford). The set list was hot hot hot ..10 STARS!! The Zombies performance was magical that night in New York City and from all the fan talk..their magic is happening at every gig on this tour!!!

I had high expectations from online clips and reviews and was not disappointed in the least. The show comes in two parts: 1) early hits and new material 2) Odyssey and Oracle in ful. We were there for O & O but the 1st part was great and featured "Tell Her No", "She's Not There" and even "Hold Your Head Up" (a Rod Argent solo hit). Also songs by Colin Blunstone that were quite good. New material was enjoyable with only one than was a bit show tune corny. It was titled New York so...A lot of great banter and footnotes as introductions to the material as well. O & O was perfection. My son recently discovered this album and that was a big reason for attending. The performance was full of life, humor, drama. Really amazing vocal work! Stand outs were "A Rose for Emily", "Beechwood Park" and "Butchers' Tale (Western Front 1914)". There were many standing ovations throughout the show. It was that good. If you get the opportunity, do not miss this show.

Sound not dialed in until a song or two . . . somewhat understandable for live on-stage. Many times keys/organ too loud during Colin's vocals. But, they are as old as me, I rocked their songs with my band in '64 too . . . they still continue to rock . . . talented and tight.

Fantastic show! Zombies were crowd pleasers all the way! Nice to get some of the historical commentary from Rod and Colin! The mini-Odessey and Oracle set was too mini, though. They shoulda played a couple more songs--in particular Brief Candles and Hung Up on a Dream--from that exquisite pop masterpiece. No complaints about them pulling out some long-forgotten gems from their catalog.

We never had the opportunity to see the Zombies, and as a student in the 1960s, and a record collector, any time I discovered a 45 rpm I purchased it immediately. It was never a disappointment on A sides and B sides too! Colin is a unique voice in the rock world, and is truly worthwhile to see in person. Rod Argent is phenomenal on the keyboard, and a valuable experience for the audience to hear the explanation of tunes and history of the band. So glad they are together and touring, performances you'll recall for a long time.

As soon as the Zombies took the stage, and Colin Blunstone's singular voice belted out "I Love You," I knew the show would be something very memorable. Rod Argent's organ sounds remained enthusiastically funky on hits like the well-known "Time of the Season" and "She's Not There," and perfectly dreamlike and nostalgic on "Beechwood Park," one of my very favorites. Wonderful venue at the historic Howard Theatre, as well. I have seen The Zombies play many live shows, all wonderful, stellar events in themselves. This was BY FAR the best, and it just keeps getting better. Having made the drive from Poulsbo, WA to Richmond B.C., just for this event, cause i KNEW it would not disappoint. The band has a new album out, AND they are celebrating the 5th anniversary of The Zombies beginning in scenic St. Albans back in 1961. Most people who listen to the Zombies nowadays weren't even born when "Time of The Season" and "She's Not There" were hits, but generation after generation have discovered these guys, and finally they are getting their due. There wasn't a bad song on the set, mixing many of the new ones with the classic hits, along with several songs from "Odessey and Oracle", their highly acclaimed album from 1968. This album, although barely mentioned upon its release, has slowly become a soundtrack for many outstanding musicians of today. Besides the shows, the albums they have to sell at the gigs are also a MUST. Please see this band you won't regret it ever! Thanks again guys!

The Zombies continue to produce a great show! Colin and Rod, the two original members of the group in this incarnation of the band, are on top of their form. Colin's pure voice still delivers the vocal punch and the emotional timbre it always has had. Rod's organ playing is phenomenal. The moment Colin Blunstone opens his mouth to sing, you know it is going to be a great night of song. Rich and soaring, that voice brings back yesterday and the years spent listening to The Zombies music on the radio. From hit to hit, to the artful gem that is Odessey and Oracle, the evening passes far too quickly as you listen to the heartbreak of A Rose For Emily or Butcher s Tale or the sensual Time of the Season. Ahhh. Rod Argent on keyboards is astounding. Original and newer band members mesh beautifully. Toomey can seriously play. The only unfortunate thing was that the concert had to end at all.

Sadly, this was the Zombies' final performance in the US of their careers! They will end the tour back home and retire. I felt blessed to have been able to experience this. They played everything I wanted to hear, and then some! Colin Blunstone delivered great vocals. The star for me was Rod Argent on keyboards! He was impeccable and I can't believe they even did the Argent hit, Hold Your Head Up! I would see them again, but sadly, I can't! The venue is well worth seeing your favorites perform at. I've gone there a couple of times and will go again!

Thaey are far past their prime. In addition, they played one of their albums in its entirety. Would have preferred to play more of their hits.

The Zombies...many of my colleagues are not sure if they remember them. But fifty years after the Odyssey & Oracle album there are four of the five original band member performing. The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall venue is perfect for receiving the full benefit of a timeless performance like this. Moving and ephemeral. A memorable night for music!

These guys were really good for a bunch of 75 year old dudes! I know it was the theme of the show but as a Zombies fan, I would have much preferred to hear some other tunes the Zombies did than a live rendition of their 2nd album. In reality, aside from Time of the Season, it wasn't really a good album. All in all - it was a great evening and really fun trip to yesteryear!

What a fun concert! Band was tight and sound was good. Colin Blunstone can still deliver vocals for this band like it was the 60's once again. The Zombies delivered on performing Odessey and Oracle, Rolling Stone's #100 Greatest Album of all time!

Wonderful that guys that old can still make it sound like it did back in the day. First set was "new" band with Rod and Colin playing hits and some from new (2015) record. Second set two "original zombies Took over the rhythm section and they played Odessey and Oracle in its entirety. The finale was a second of the night rendition of "She's not There". All in all a wonderful evening with great music but the seats are a little narrow for full sized folks.

Well the Zombies stated that this would be there final offering of the classic Odessey and Oracle and if you were lucky you were in attendance. The show was broken into two parts the first part consisting of singles, covers and memorable classics from early in their career as well as some from the new record, all equally good. The band then took a short break and returned with 4 original Zombies plus other background singers and the musical arranger Darian Sahanaja, who also arranged Brian Wilson's Smile for the complete Odessey and Oracle album with visual movies and all vocal and instrumental parts included. A exciting rendition ensued that is well worth checking out when it comes to your town. The great thing about classic music, art, writing etc. is that it doesn't seem dated or aged and this was true of Odessey and Oracle.

Second time seeing them recently----played their hits, a complete Odessey and Oracle, and new songs. Blunstone's voice is still strong, Argent's keyboards are excellent, and the regular band joined some older members for the second half. What's not to like? Plus they look like they are enjoying the performance as much as we did.

I saw the Zombies on their regular tour less than a year ago and was quite impressed with how good they sounded, with Colin's vocals still spot on and Rod's keyboard playing absolutely masterful. My real love is the Odessey & Oracle album though, and this 50th anniversary tour was the opportunity to hear that in its entirety. They did a solid opening set featuring old singles, new material, and a great extended version of Argent's "Hold Your Head Up". The highlight of the evening though was the incredible performance of the full Odessey & Oracle album, and they did it justice, bringing in extra vocalists to ensure all harmonies were there and a second keyboardist for the mellotron parts. It was absolutely beautiful and it's the last time they're performing the album in its entirety, so this is not to be missed.

Wonderful concert. Terrific music from a band I have always loved. They sang all their hits and even some new music that was terrific. Fabulous venue. Don't miss them. You won't be disappointed.

I remember some of the Zombies' songs from the sixties, and thought they would have a greater set list. They played their four odd hits, along with the song "Hold Your Head Up." Lead singer was very good, and they sounded as good as they could within the confines of a theater not really set up for music. (Too much distortion from all the hard surfaces in the theater.) The second album "Odessey" If you like bad show tunes, it's for you.... My wife and I have attended over 250 concerts, this was one of the bottom five....

These guys have still got it and bringing back all current and former members of the band for the second set was a great idea! Even at age 71, Argent and Colin still have great pipes. The combo of past and present drummers during the last jam was great!

First hour was the "new" Zombies with some of their newer songs plus some from the 60's. short intermission and then the second hour was the full band plus Chris and Hugh from the original group, with several new additions. They played Odyssey and Oracle from beginning to end. We have seen them 4 times in last 6 years and they have never given a show like this., amazing

This was my fifth time seeing the Zombies, and the second time at this venue. The chance to see the current line-up supporting their great most recent album "Still Got the Hunger" and the original members who recorded "Odessey and Oracle" 50 years ago was just a treat. The crowd was happy, singing along with the hits "Time of the Season," "Tell Her No," and "She's Not There" and generally having a great time. Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone are two of the greatest rock'n roll performers of all time, still able to put on a tremendous show.

Felix Cavaliere's Rascal were fantastic. They were tight musically and Felix's voice was great. The Zombies were OK. Their lead singer's voice was fair at best. They were musically fair.

Went to see The Zombies & Felix Cavaliere's Rascals at Talking Stick on 9/11/16. Each band played an hour set. The Rascals absolutely killed it! Felix was always the heart and soul of the Rascals, and although he's the only original member, he was in top form, as was his band, especially drummer Vinnie Santoro. Every single song was a former hit. The accompanying video presentation added to the ambience. The Zombies displayed some fine musicianship but didn't match the Rascal's energy. Playing a few new and unfamiliar songs probably didn't help. Bassist Jim Rodford & Keyboardist Rod Argent were in top form musically. Vocalist Colin Blumstone's vocals were sharp, but he had little stage presence when he wasn't singing. All in all, a great double bill.

The Rascals were so-so but The Zombies were incredible, the band was tight, the lead singers voice was as fresh as 1964, they paid tribute to Argent'a 1970's success and were extremely professional. The only short coming to me, being from WLS radio territory in the midwest, was the fact they didn't play " Indication ", a flashy tune that did well on the Chicago charts.

Zombies went through the motions, no encore, while Felix and the Rascals were more high energy and personable. Rod Argent spent a lot of time patting himself on the back during the intros. Enjoyed Zombies on the Moodies Cruise more. I do love that venue and the facility for shows though.

We go to a lot of concerts and this was a great one. Both bands but especially the Zombies still play kick-ass rock and roll. The sound was great as always in the Talking Stick Showroom, one of the best venues in Phoenix. The Rascals covered their hits but also played some great covers like Mustang Sally, the best moment of that set. The Zombies were even better playing all their old outstanding hits ( Time Of The Season My Favorite) but also some new rockers and an Argent song which was as good as it gets.

The minute I saw this show advertised, I bought tickets and booked my flights and rooms - I was not going to miss this and I am so glad I went! Felix was at the top of his game - energy & Sound - incredible!! His band was top notch - the music was incredible, the stories were great and the energy was awesome! OMG - Colin Blunstone is still the voice!!!! Rod Argent plays with the same energy and precision as he always has - I was totally blown away - you would never know that these artists had been performing over 50 years!!!! They were absolutely incredible and I am so very thankful that I got to see them!

Despite jet lag from just arriving in LA from London, the Zombies gave a top notch show at the Rose. The setlist was great including a few seldom played old songs, a couple of Argent classics as well as an original by Colin. They were all on top of their game with Colin proving he still has the vocal chops maintaining his signature sound after all these years while Rod stretched out on keys proving his place among the top tier of rock's keyboard elite. The background vocals were also excellent.

The Libbey Bowl is my new favorite music venue and the perfect spot to hear this classic group. As for the Zombies . . . the performance was high in energy, style, enthusiasm, and TALENT! They gave us a perfect blend of timeless classics and fresh new material that was deeply rooted in that memorable and distinctive Zombies' musical style. A thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining evening.

Zombies were terrific! Loved the combination of the great old standards with some new songs. Liked the new stuff so much I bought the CD. Highly recommended. Colin's voice is amazing, and Rod's organ playing out of this world. The whole band was great and worked together perfectly. Great venue, too. I'd go again if I could.
